Ch 64 : By Your Side
Life was beautiful. Its been 4 months to their marriage and everything was perfect, a loving husband and adorable kid, she has everything she wished for. Her perfect family. Rey was giving her space but never stopped himself from showering his love on her. She was falling for him all over again. Apart from her relationship with Rey, Her relationship with others too was getting better slowly. She had been accepted by singhania's except Rey's grand mother, it was another matter, then her relationship with her own family was like it used to be, swayum has apologized to her numerous times and taani has forgiven him, though it took time, but things were getting better between them.
"Mumma!" Her chain was thoughts was broken when she heard her little baby's voice. She smiled when she watched him entering the room while running toward her, he came and jumped on the bed. Taani pulled him on her lap and cocooned him in her arms.
"Where is your papa?" Taani asked him, the father-son duo were in rehearsal hall where Rey was teaching his son dancing.
"He got a call then he was super angry. I got scared and come here." Reyaan mumbled, remembering how his father was shouting at someone over the phone call. Taani frowned hearing him, but decided to handle reyaan before she go to check on him.
"Papa won't hurt his baby, don't get scared of him." Taani told him, Reyaan nodded then smile.
"I know that, but still, i don't like when papa gets angry." Reyaan mumbled, Taani shook her head, she ruffled his hair and made him sit on the bed.
"You sit here, I'll go and check on papa. Okay?" Taani said to him, Reyaan nodded making her smile. Taani blew a kiss at him before she walked out of the room. She walked across the corridor, toward the rehearsal hall. She could hear his loud voice, could make out he is really angry at someone. She drew a sharp breath and entered inside. His back was facing her, she moved close to him and wrapped her arms around him from behind, which starlet him for a moment.
"I'll talk to you later-" Rey mumbled and cut the call, then he grabbed taani's hand and pulled her infront of him. Taani raised her one eye brow at him, questioningly.
"Just a work related matter." Rey mumbled, he wrapped his arms around her and pulled her into him, he leaned and nuzzle his face in crook of her neck, calming himself.
"What happened? I can tell its not work related-" Taani demanded softly.
"It was kriya, off lately she is troubling me alot with her calls and messages." Rey told her, truthfully while hoping she doesn't not get angry with him for hiding this from her till now. Taani was confused, she had always stayed away from his friends thus she had no idea whats going between him and his friends.
"From past one month her behavior had turned kind a stalkerish. She would come to meet me in office unnecessarily. She would call me zillions of time in a day, send cheesy messages to me and today, she crossed every limit. She sent her nude photographs to me, wanting a night with me." Rey told her everything which was a huge shock for her, she couldn't believe a girl like kriya could do something like this.
"But trust me, taani, i'm not interested in her nor i gave her hints which will give her any wrong ideas. I love only you. I don't know why she is doing all this. It was shocking for me too." Rey explained her not caring if he sounded desperate, but he just wanted her trust him.
"SH. Rey! You don't have to explain me about your part in this. I trust you, I know you can never cheat on me." Taani said to him, she cupped his face in her palms and made her look into her eyes. He could see undying love and trust in her eyes. Which was a huge relief for him, made him smile.
"But delete all those pictures and block her." Taani told him, this time her voice was stern.
"I have done that the moment i received them, and trust me, i didn't even glance at them." Rey replied immediately which made her smile even though she was boiling inside, she was beating kriya black blue in her thoughts for her stint.
"I don't know what had happened to her? why she is acting like this?" Rey wondered, taani was looking at him, debating whether to tell him or not.
"Because she loves you. I have seen from college days, she has soft corner for you." Taani told him, his eyes widen in shock, he tried arguing but she hushed him.
"I know you never look at her in that way, but you can't control what she feels. But its shocking how she is stalking you like this."
"I'll take care of this matter, you don't worry."
"I won't but you right now, you have to. Your son got scared by the way you were shouting on the phone call. Go and manaofy him." Taani told him, Rey hit head his head and cursed himself before he ran out of the rehearsal hall to manaofy his son.
Taani laughed and followed him outside.
