Ranveer Singh in Ram Lakhan remake?

Karan Johar and Rohit Shetty have been planning their joint venture for a long time and the two had decided to remake Subhash Ghai classic, Ram Lakhan. Ever since the two have announced the project, several names have been in news for playing the lead roles.

While Ranveer Singh has always been on everyone's mind to play the flamboyant Lakhan, strong rumours suggest that he's indeed offered the film.

Yesterday at an event when asked about Rohit Shetty, here's what he said, "Rohit Shetty is an awesome director. I really think he is the king of commercial, masala films. I would love to collaborate with him. I have met him a bunch of time and we really, really get along. I love that he is a really simple man, a sincere man. He has a closely knit team who work wonderfully together. I am really looking forward to collaborating with him. Like I said, nothing is formalized or finalized, but given the opportunity and if everything falls into place, hopefully I will be in a big, Rohit Shetty dhamaka very soon."

We wonder what is the dhamaka Ranveer Singh is talking about but we hope he reprises Anil Kapoor's role.
