Manik and Nandini wanted their wedding festivities to be true to traditions , with a gathering of close friends and family. So is their sangeet. A lot goes into making this evening as special as it can be - hours of dance performances, singing and making all things perfect to entertain the esteemed guests. Even though trends in song varies from soft melody to fast peppy numbers and to nostalgic ones, with a number of great friends and family bopping to the fantastic desi beats ,the sangeet night is bound to be an electrifying evening. So the basic idea is of having a great time with family and friends with some great music. At times even witty snippets of commentary by Cabir and Dhruv in between the songs added to the entertainment and laughter.
Manik and Nandini are lost in their small and beautiful world when they heard loud clap from the audience and the beats of the new song started. They took their seat n watched in amusement to c Dhruv entering the stage along with Alya dancing for "Pehli baar" from "Dil Dhadakne Do".

Dhruv and Alya were effortlessly dancing and they have a beautiful chemistry. Since they both are trained dancers, they were following their own dancing instincts enjoying fully shaking their body perfectly for the beats and music. The music changed after the first stanza of the song and then Abhi and Mukti entered the stage dancing to the tunes of "Dilliwaali Girlfriend" from "yeh jawaani hai deewani".

Mukti and Abhi lived their moment in the stage without any shyness and they were so much comfortable in each other's company. Manan looked at each other seeing Mukbhi closeness and smiled at them. Soon the beats changed into the "Ainvayi Ainvayi" from "Band Baaja Baaraat" and Cabir & Navya entered the stage.

The song was perfect for them as both of them were trying to pull each other's legs and it was indeed fun to watch Navya and Cabir fighting like Tom and Jerry in the stage too... Soon the music changed into a soft melodious one, "Main Rang Sharbaton Ka" from "Phata Poster Nikla Hero" and Viren entered the stage with Jeevika hand in hand.

They danced slowly swaying their body slightly to the beats and done some slow n cute moves as Jeevika is not supposed to stress so much becoz of her pregnancy. Soon the song got over and the guys pulled Manik to the stage. He looked at Nandini for a minute and danced to the tunes of "Tenu leke mein jawanga" from "Salam-E-Ishq".

He pulled Nandini also to dance with him. Manik twirled her around holding her fingers and pulled her back to him for doing a few steps together. Everyone danced frantically on this peppy number and they did a little old fashioned dance mixed with funky. They swayed their body like crazy for the wonderful beats and enjoyed the fullest.The dance got over and all of them had a group hug. Their family hug is spoiled by an announcement from the side of the stage. The youngsters looked amazed seeing Amms and Daadi entering the stage together.
Amms: In bachon ke sangeet mein ham bhi inkeliye kuch karana chahtha hoon.haina Padma...
Daadi: ha gayathri...zaroor.. hamare Manik aur Nandini keliye..lekin ha ham dance nahi kar sakthe aap bachon ki tarah..lekin kuch tho karna hi hai...
Amms: isliye hum dono milkar ek gaana gayenge...
Daadi: pareshan mat ho bachoon..koi classical song nahin hai...
Amms and Daadi together: Manik and Nandini, ye tumhare liye..
Manik gave a flying kiss to both of them while Nandini just smiled. The other youngsters also took seats near to Manan by the side of the stage.

Amms started singing the lines from a Tamil song. It was beautiful rendition that everyone got mesmerised by her soulful voice.

Amms looked at Daadi and Daadi started singing. Although she is singing after a couple of years, her voice is still the same as beautiful as her.. Everyone got amazed at her easeful singing...Hearing her, now Nandu got convinced from whom Manik inherited the beautiful voice and such a passion for singing.

Amms and Daadi continued together again looking lovingly at her kids.

They opened their arms and called their kids near to them and Manik and Nandini ran to them. The others too followed them. Even the elder Murthys and Malhotras cudn't stand this moment any more. They also ran to the stage and finally all of them sang the final lyrics together and they shared a big family hug.

The audience showed their love for this performance by a thunderous applause.
Daadi: Rohit & Nyonika...main tum dono ko thank u kehna chahtha hum...tum done ki wajah se hi mujhe manik mila aur ussse nandini bhi...
Rohit side hugged Nyonika and whispered a "Thank u" in her ears and pecked her cheeks without anyone's notice...But how will it escape our Cabir's eyes. He took the mike and said with a smirk in his lips: "ab mujhe pata chal gaya ki hamare manik baba itne romantic kaise ban gaye... aakhir kiska beta hai... Uncle ab bhi aunty se publicly romance karte hain tho manik tho isme baby hai...kya baat hai uncle.. hum ko tho aapse bahut kuch seekhna hai.."
Rohit glared at Cabir while Nyonika left the stage all blushing hard with others. She reached near the lower steps when she heard Rohit's voice "Palat"

Badepapa and Badima also joined them in the song and the four malhotras danced together. They pulled chacha for the dance and after lot of hesitation chacha sang :
