Ch 29 : His LovingnessTaani closed her eyes, pretending to sleep when she heard the door clicked open and he entered inside the dark room. He locked the door and walked over the bed, he peeped at her side and smiled seeing her pretending to sleep. He stripped off his clothes and slide inside the covers just in his boxer briefs. He shifted close to her, he placed his hand on her flat belly, Taani closed her eyes more tightly making him smile at her antics. Butterflies were fluttering inside her belly at his close proximity. His fingers were making patterns on her belly over the soft material of her nightie.
Her breath hitched as he came on top of her, she tightly clutched the bed sheet in her tiny fists. He smirked, observing her every move. He inched closed her, his warm breath was fanning over her lips causing a chill to ran through her. He was about to claim her lips when her eyes snapped open and she pushed him away slightly.
"How many time do i have to tell you? When i am angry, you should say sorry not kiss me-" Taani complained, he gave an amused look at his cute wife who had turned her face away from.
"Its been more a week now i have kiss you. I couldn't control-" Rey jsutified but like it had any affect on his wife. With uninterested face, she laid there beneath him.
"Okay, baba! I'm sorry. I promise, next month i'll take you jodhpur to meet mom-dad. Happy now?" Rey said to her, hoping it would melt her.
"Thats news! Rey singhania will leave his work aside and take his wife to meet her parents. Aaj sun arise kaha se hua tha?" Taani spoke with sarcasm dripping off her tone. Rey narrowed his eyes at her
"Mom is enough to taunt me over this issue, no need for you to become mom part two." Rey grumbled, Taani giggled at his expressions.
"Rey, is everything alright between kriya bhabhi & shivam bhai? Even today they were fighting when bhaiyaa came home in afternoon-" Taani asked him, Rey look at her, he debated whether to tell her or not. Kriya wasn't comfortable with the idea of telling anyone about her problem, also He doesnt want any misunderstanding in his married life because of him helping his best friend.
"For a happy married life, a couple should not hide anything from each other." He recalled his mother's words. Rey decided to tell her everything and he was sure, taani will understand this situation.
"Taani, Kriya & bhai's marriage is going through a rough phase. Actually, bhai wants a baby, but kriya has some problems and she couldn't concieve. Bhai has stopped talking to her after kriya told him about her problem." Rey told her, he watched how her eyes become moist hearing the news. It was most painful thing of a woman's life.
"Tomorrow i'll talk to bhai about this." Rey continued further and told her. Taani nodded, praying to her god to make everything alright between shivam and kriya, and also give strength to kriya.
"Bhabhi & bhaiyaa must be in so much pain." Taani mumbled, Rey hummed in response.
"Hey! I didn't told you to let you stress over this. I'll handle this, but please, tum udaas mat ho. I like my smiley wife more-" Rey said, he lifted his hand and tucked a strand of her hair behind her ear. Taani smiled softly at him. Rey smiled at her, he leaned and pressed his lips softly against her forehead. Taani closed her eyes, savoring the feel of his lips against her skin. After so many days they have got this little time to spend together.
Rey kissed her cute tiny nose then moved down, he placed soft pecks on near her lips before he claimed them, pulling her into a wild, aggressive kiss, depicting his passion. He poured all his unsaid feeling in the kiss, taani smiled in the kiss, holding him tightly in her arms. Breaking the kiss, he laid down beside her and pulled her in his arms. They talked for some more time, before they slipped into peaceful slumber in each others arms.

It was sunday afternoon, Ranvijay & Avantika had gone out to meet some relatives while taani was in her room, talking to her mother on the phone where as Rey decided to talk to shivam. Thus he went in his brother's study room, where he found him busy with his files.
Shivam smiled at his brother when he saw him entering the room. Due to their respective busy schedules, both the brothers hardly get time to catch up. Rey sat on the chair across him, both talked about some random stuff till he brought up Kriya's topic.
"Bhai, is everything alright between you & kriya?"
"Rey, lets not talk about this. I know she had told you everything and i don't want to talk about this." Shivam said to him, Rey look at his brother who was visibly upset. Rey could understand him.
"But whats her fault in this, bhai? She needs you in this time, but you are pushing her away-"
"Then what else do you want me to do? Rey, its been 4 years to our marriage, I'm turning 31, I want to start my own family, I want to have my child. I have been craving for the moment to hold my child, but its not possible now. Do you have any idea how it feels when you know you will never be fortunate enough to bless with a baby." Shivam lost his cool and took out his frustration.
"God forbid, but tum kya karte if you & taani were in place of me & kriya?" Shivam questioned him, and the simple question left him speechless.
