Chapter 12

A week passed from the day Shamila regain consciousness and today she is not only been discharged from hospital but also will start living her life with her beloved daughter Megha ,

When Shamila had taken Megha into her arms she became emotional seeing that her daughter had to grow up without both her parents she felt blessed that Jeet left his part with her his child his blood she was so overwhelmed with emotions , everybody wanted to divert her thoughts as she just came out of a life threatening ordeal .

Mr Oberoi thought to introduce the Khurana family officially to Shamila and that is when she remembered her Rano Ma talking about Mrs Khurana and her grandson Maan Shamila been in coma was lifeless but she heard every talk even Geet's recordings these things actually made it easier for her to comprehend the current situation . Shamila immediately started talking about their Engagement as she did not want to wait and Geet had also secretly promised Maan that whatever comes first either Shamila Bhabhi's recovery or her JD than they would get Engaged

Daadima wanted the Engagement in India but Mr Oberoi was against the idea as it could easily risk the entire situation but than Shamila, Simlal and Sweta wanted to go back to India they also felt that the Khurana Family have their own people and would like to have them at the Engagement Mr Oberoi eventually agreed but had put a lot of conditions in place and everyone had to live at the Khurana Farmhouse until the Engagement . it was further discussed that Shimla , Geet and Megha would return to the USA after the Engagement as Geet still had three more years to complete while Sweta and Simlal wanted to go back to their home town and live with their families . It was also discussed that no media will get invited .

Preparations were in full swing and it was time to leave USA to go to India , Geet was very excited as this will be her first visit the plane landed in India and within hours everyone was at the Khurana Farmhouse again Mr Oberoi gave instructions and Maan tighten security for everyone's safety

In the meanwhile Radhika and Quintin decided to leave Sinam with the Mehra's as they could no longer afford the house staff , Radhika also wanted after few months her parents should come to Caribbean with Sinam and they could take care of Sinam , the cleaning of the house and cooking in that way Radhika has help without paying them .

Vicky on the other hand had ask both Daadima and Maan if he could invite his trusted friend as only very close relatives were invited and trusted friends of both Daadima and Maan , they also asked Mr Oberoi to bring his wife and his Legal Team so that Geet can see them and know all of them as eventually she needs to get involved in the business but Geet did not want that business she felt because of the money the business produced her family had lost their lives , Shamila too wanted Mr Oberoi to sell the business and divide the money between Simlal , Sweta, Mr Oberoi and Megha she and Geet did not want anything from the business but Mr Oberoi said the business according to Mohinder Handa cannot be sold it should be transferred but neither Geet nor Shamila wanted any part of it and they neither wanted to go back to the Caribbean . Mr Oberoi than told them when Geet turns 21 years she has to come for the reading of the will in the Caribbean and the reading cannot be done in any other country according to Caribbean Law but than Maan said officially he is married to Geet so if she resides in India than the reading should take place in India but it became a heated discussion and Geet finally screamed out she will come to the Caribbean for the reading and Maan can arrange security for her at the time .

Maan felt elated that Geet trusted him with her life and he promised himself to always protect her

The Engagement Day arrived , The Farmhouse was turned into a Magical Fairy Tale while both Geet and Maan wore traditional clothes . The Engagement was a joyous affair and all enjoyed for Maan and Geet there was a feeling and sense of belonging to each other they both felt that now they have someone of their own that they can call theirs .

Meanwhile Radhika , Sinam and Quintin landed in India , Radhika wanted to trap a rich guy here in India so that she can get some money maybe jewels and if fortunate a property too .

NB : Sorry for such a boring update , I need to get this over

so I can start concentrating on Maan and Geet fully
