Jigs, you always write these notes from your heart. And you have always given proper reasons for the delay. I do not get bored or frustrated waiting for your next chapter. Every time I have felt it is ok to wait for few more days or few more hours... Because I know it will be worth waiting for.

Eagerly looking forward to our original ASR, mini ASR and Grandpa ASR :-)

I'm so late in reading and commenting not last but last 3 updates, that you are about to post the new one. What can I say life happened. And life with an 11month old is well a new experience every minute.
Now with my Aneri sound asleep in her room I got time to read and comment.

Chapter 41: Celebrations, it's that time of the year again. When family unites, you feel the love and warmth and that cozy feeling of being secured. That was a beautiful update and each of the six adults feeling it in there heart along with the kids was so beautiful. That update was truly the blessing of mother to see her houseful of her kids being happy and secure.

I loved the seen where Ari shows the ornament Sophia left for her grand kids, to Bella. And that fight between kids about who is beast and what's was more funny yet heartwarming was the adults jumping in and Arnav taking the golden chance to steel the kiss with his wife.

Aman's gift stool my heart and made me laugh like hell.

Chapter 42: I didn't see that coming, one year of divorce paper, one year of them being thrown in the freezing water and finding the way to the shore together, emerging stronger than before a family a unit, with the symbol of there love, Aneri. Arnav is right those divorce paper was the best thin that happened to them to wake them up from there stupor and save there relation.

When Khushi was breaking down with guilt of what she brought upon them with those divorce papers Ari words,

"Don't cry Mumma. Your Ari Baby is right here with you... Do you want to use your words to tell me what happened?"

She is using what she has learned to help her Mumma feel better. I have seen and experienced it first hand that for kids there parents are mirror of reactions, they will react in any situation the way they see there parents react and here Aneri on finding her mother upset and crying want to relieve her of her situation doing her best. At that point I realize that there is no more being alone for Arnav and Khushi. There daughter is never going to leave them and never allow tears in parents eye if it's in her power. She will never hurt them knowingly and never allow anyone to hurt her parents.

Khushi wanted to see her husband to share her feeling and air was more than happy to visit her papa's office for the first time. This mother daughter bond even help them in getting Arnav agreeing on flying to LA to surprise Anjali for her birthday. Awesome.

Chapter 43: Arnav's apprehensions for the visit and frustration to do nothing of what he may witness today or rather who is understandable. I have hated Avinash for what he did to his wife and his kids from the beginning and it hasn't vanished yet. Avinash may be sorry and regrets his action but the fact is he can't change the past, and so he can't change Arnav's heart. It has to come from Arnav. That forgiveness has to come from Arnav's heart and not from the pressure of Khushi, Anjali or Ari.

Like Arnav I understand Anjali too. She was a kid and for her her father her hero. She was kept away from truth and even met her father on regular intervals while growing up except the first two year. So her loving him and failing at her attempt to hate him for what he did is but natural. And now given his beaten down condition and his medical needs she is doing what she feels right and out of love for her father.

But I don't agree with her giving him her mothers room. That place must be sacred for Arnav and I don't know how he will react for this.

About Ari, she is a kid and confused with the happening. Since she is not aware of the historian d not her age to know such truths, no amount of explain can help here yet no lies would do. All I can say is I'm waiting how you going to portray Ari and Arnav in the middle of this situation.

Avinash, I don't know what to say, but as canopoem, used the song, I will just quote the same lines.

"zindagi ke safar mein guzar hate hain Jo makam,
woh phir nahin aate,
woh phir nahin aate!"

Our extraordinary Bambina is truly an exceptional child. How much depth is there in simplicity. The ability of children to grasp the things that matter is humbling. This child has in her an ocean of love that her parents will always nurture and keep safe.

Khushi today fulfilled both her roles as mother and wife with aplomb and unerring love. Her desire to protect her baby's feelings bringing out her fierceness beautifully tempered with her love for her husband. His respect in his child's eyes sacrosanct for her.

I love how Arnav gestured to Khushi to ask Avinash to stay. These subtle nuances are what make your stories so compelling.

We stop seeing people sometimes for who they are. Their past actions are so overwhelming that it's impossible to see beyond that. Now when Arnav allows himself to see Avinash for the sick and old man he is, he can see the damage he's doing to his own self and to his own family's happiness.

Life is not always about forgiveness, sometimes letting go is all that's needed.

I shall be back with more <3

Just had to say this my love ... you totally rock!

This has been such a seismic moment in Arnav's life. The way you have led up to this point has been beautiful. The desire that has come from within, which has made him want to move on. Yes he was helped to see what he was doing to himself, but ultimately it was in the cold light of the half dawn when he really saw for himself the man in front of him. And not his hero with the feet of clay. And not the man responsible for his mother's pain.

A song playing in my head ...

Yeh jeevan hai, iss jeevan ka, yehin hai yehin hai rang roop

Hi,
Unfrickingbelievable!!! This was one chapter you had been waiting to write since you began this story, you say. This was one chapter I did not want to read... I put it off as long as I possibly could, coz I knew what was coming. But how you were going to do it was the curiosity that had been bugging me since you posted it this morning and finally I could not wait another moment.

It is Fantastic, Jigs... So complex... Yet so simple... If the problem can be laid out in the simplest of terms... pared down to the bare bones... the decision becomes manageable... not easier... just more manageable. This has been the beauty of your story from Chapter 1. The priorities, once determined are unshakable even in the face of greatest challenge, the greatest provocation. Ari... now the priority of all adults, as is her right... As Avinash is realizing his children should have been... And as that is the case, Arnav chose to let go of the vitriolic hatred that might lead him to do something which would hurt his daughter... Close call this day... the wake up call. If he intends to not let his daughter down ever, then he has to pull this thorn out of his side... His relationship with his father would never completely heal... but it can not be allowed to cause further hurt in their lives. Yeah... I understand that and I respect that.

As long as it took me to reach this point, I had to wonder at myself Jigs. Why? Why was it so hard for me to accept that Avinash had to be forgiven. Is it because we hold our parents to higher than normal standards? For us they are not mere humans... thus vulnerable to mistakes, foibles and errors... They are our Super Heroes... Our role models, however much we might deny that fact... And when they fall from that pedestal... the hurt, the damage can not be easily mended. What Ari says to Arnav, struck a chord... When she says... 'I will always love you no matter what you do... If you are mad at me... or do something bad because it will make me so sad if I couldn't talk to you or see you...' That was the turning point for me. Any one can make a mistake, sometimes the consequences are far reaching and immensely destructive... But To Err is Human...

You handled this chapter with so much delicacy, so much patience, Jigs... I am just now realizing that. It was a satisfying read... I needed all those i's dotted and t's crossed... I needed to see Arnav's frustration, Ari's innocent desire to see happiness for all her loved ones, Avinash's regret, Anjali's bewilderment and torn loyalties, Khushi's tenacity to have no more harm come to her family and finally Arnav's realization that to be able to do justice to himself he needed to let go of his corrosive anger... Just perfect!

And my favorite line of the chapter... 'Oh no, is your heart broken?'

Yep... it is that simple and that complex. Loved it... Just loved it!

Love and regards,
Sam

Take a bow and accept a standing ovation my dear...the most awaited chapter and well worth waiting for. You are an assiduous author who engages the readers mind and emotions with well crafted words ..

For ASR Ji - comes to mind a very moving and apt song from a movie called Daddy-

"Aaina mujse meri paheli si surat mange- Mere apne meri hone ki nishani maange"

For while he understand the depth of hurt he has inflicted upon his son..there is absolutely nothing that can undo the past... The mirror will always show who you are today..

Even forgiveness from Arnav may not set him free..

The answers to the most complex situations are the simplest but human nature is such we overlook them..

Aneri is a blessing for all of them ... If your heart hurts her Nana can fix it..can life be any simpler? Her Papa is the best and if you say sorry he will forgive you.. Huggies and kisses heal !!

'Mat Jao" uttered by Ms ASR was as cute as when uttered by ASR himself in the show !!! Loved it :-)

Caught between a rock and a hard place ..Arnav is caught between the devil and the deep blue sea.. The ocean provides the answer...the waves come and go ..refusing to be held back ...likewise why tie up life in chains of dislike ...time to move on ...

A journey that bought forth joy, sadness, humor and romance ... And plenty of what the f**k moments will be remembered fondly ...

😊 I made it to the first page! 🥳
Trust a child to have the courage to make Arnav give up on past conflicts and end the cold war.
Anjali deserved to have a conflict free birthday and have all her loved ones close to her.
Aneri brings love and laughter wherever she goes.
Loved her sweet conversation with Avinash.
You caught a child's simple views to life so well.
She has faith in her Papa and he didn't let her down(thanks to Khushi)
What would the world be without us women, young or old!😉

Arnav seems to have understood that his father is old and frail.
And that is serves no purpose to hold on to past animosities.
Avinash is living his last days on earth and he will atleast live them in peace.
What he did to the mother of his children was unforgivables.
But how long can one hold a grudge?
Arnav has hopefully let go and will himself find peace.

Loved the chapter, Jigs.
Vety crucial turn in the story.
And much needed.
Will be waiting for the last chapter.
Hoping you are starting a new story soon.
Will be waiting for news!
