Ch 21 : His Happiness

At night, Taani & Rey along with Kriya & Shivam reached the wedding venue in delhi. They were welcomed by their uncle & aunt, then after some chit chatting, both the couple were lead to their respective rooms as it was getting late and all were tired.

"Taani! come here, baby." Rey called out for her as he slumped down on the bed, too tired after journey.

Taani felt some unknown feeling when he called her 'baby', it sent shiver down her spine. Taani walked over the bed, Rey grabbed her hand and pulled her down causing her to fall over him. Taani gasped and clutched his shirt tightly in her fist.

"Rey!" She whined and look at him with cute pout that tempt him to kiss her senselessly. Taani rested her head against his chest while he tighten his grip around her and pulled her into him more.

"You look tired, go to sleep."

"I'm not." Rey shook his head in reply then he rolled over bed, taking her by surprise. She look into his eyes, and couldn't help but found herself drawn in those beautiful pair of brown orbs. He smiled at her lost expressions and leaned forward, nuzzling his face in crook of her neck.

"Your stubble tickles-" She giggled softly. Rey rubbed his stubble on her skin causing chill to ran through her body, she tighten his grip around him and opened her eyes to look at him.

"Rey!" Taani whined cutely. Rey chuckled softly, He leaned and pressed his lips against her forehead, leaving a long soothing kiss on her forehead.

"Happy 6 month anniversary, sweetheart." Rey wished her, Taani opened her eyes and glanced at the clock, it was showing 12, then she look at him who was looking down at her with soft eyes. Her heart melted at his small gesture.

"Happy 6 months anniversary, Rey." A small smile touched her cheeks as she wished him back.

"6 months of togetherness." Rey mumbled, gazing down at her. He can't believe its been 6 months to his marriage. These 6 months were nothing but bliss, the girl he thought to be nothing but a mere stranger with whom he will share his everything, turned his life upside down with her arrival.

She changed him, without even trying or knowing what she do to him. His life was filled with loneliness, colorless but when she entered, she brought happiness back in his life with her, she was just a stranger but slowly, she was becoming his life. His days are incomplete without her, his day starts with her and ends with her.
