PART 11
RECAP: Sanyukta and randhir go to the hospital together, where they find out that they have twins. Overjoyed, they go to CCD to celebrate. Some cute nok-jhok on the way back.
8.45 pm, Shekhavat household.
It was a normal evening for both mr & mrs shekhavat. Exhausted from the excitement of knowing that they have twins, Sandhir had returned home from their date and caught a tiny afternoon nap so they were as fresh as ever. Sanyukta was sitting on the sofa, going through the details of her presentation for the next day's meeting and Randhir sat beside her, engrossed in his work as well. Suddenly, a small chat box popped up on the screen. There was nothing so amazing about the chat box, but the name atop the chat box was. He quickly clicked on it. It said, "Jignesh Patel : Hi!" He clicked in the reply box and began typing.
Randhir : Jiggy!! Hii!! Nice to see u after so long!
Jiggy : Randhir bhai! Arrey haan...itne dinn se baat mhi hui hamari...aap sabko bohot miss kar rhe he ham dono!
Randhir : Toh bata...India kab aa rahe ho dono? Hamse milna hain na, ya bhul gye?
Jiggy : Arrey kesi baat kar rhe ho randhir bhai...Arey ek sec ruko, kaustu bhi agayi. Aap dono video chat par aao na!
Randhir : Haan ruk i'll get sanyukta too
And he signed off. He looked beside him, but sanyukta was no where to b seen. "SANYUKTAA" he hollered. Sanyukta came out from the bedroom, an iron in hand.
"Kya hua randhir? Itna zor se kyu chilla rahe ho? u all right??" she asked, worriedly. "Arrey main thik hoon tum woh sab chodo aur yahaan aao! Kaustuki aur jiggy aa rhe he video chat par!! he said. Sanyukta's face turned into a 32-teeth smile. She switched of the iron and came and sat next to randhir. He pressed the video call button and withing seconds, they were connected to kaustuki and jiggy halfway around the world.
"Kaustu!!!" squealed an excited sanyukta as soon as she saw her best friend on the screen. "How r u??"
"Snyuuu!!" kaustuki replied, in her cute darjeeling accent. "Kitne dinn ho gye terse baat kiye!! Kuch important he, tujhe batani he!"
"Arey mujhe bhi tum dono ko kuch important baat batani he! But u first!" sanyukta replied. "Well sanyukta, baat aisi hain" jiggy began."Haan bol bol jiggy...baat kaisi hain? Thik hain ya bimaar hain?" Randhir joked and they all began to laugh. JIggy resumed again after the laughs had subsided. "Arey randhir...sanyukta..baat yeh hain, ki ham kuch mahino baad India aa rahe hain!! Woh bhi ek saal ke liye!!" Jiggy gave out the news, excited.
"WOW Kaustu thats soo great!!! EK saal!!! Matlab ek pura saal ham sath honge!!" Sanyukta chipped. "Lekin jiggy...tum dono ki jobs ka kya? Aur ek saal k liye kese aaoge?" Randhir queried. "Randhir, woh kya he na hamari company ka ek new branch shuru ho raha hain...so they need workforce there until they have people for the required positions. Uss workforce mese mujhe chuna gaya hain...aur kaustu HR representative hain toh woh toh obviously aayegi! Toh ek saal ham waha honge..."Jiggy replied. "Haan...aur woh bhi tumlogon k saath roorkee me! How cool is that!" Kaustuki added. "Thats Amazing kaustu!!! M soo happy!" Sanyukta declared.
"Okay sanyu...now ur turn! Tu bata..kya batane waali thi tu hame?" kaustuki asked, intrigued. Sanyukta smiled and looked at randhir. "Go on" he said, and winked at her.
"Well..." sanyukta began. "Kaustu...jiggy...woh..main pregnant hoon" she quickly blurted out.
"OMG sanyuuu!!!!!!!" kaustuki squealed excitedly. "Thats really great news!!! Oh my...matlab ab me...um..me..uh...me baby ki kya banungi sanyu??" Kaustuki asked, confused. Jiggy, randhir and sanyukta giggled at her. "What??" she asked. "What's so funny guyz?" asked kaustuki, annoyed. "Anww...nothing kaustu ur so cutee!" Sanyukta said. "Dekho...tum meri bestie ho, right? Bilkul meri behen jesi ho? Aur mammi k behen ko maasi kete he! So tum baby ki maasi hui, hain na!" Sanyukta said, beaming. Kaustuki smiled at her. "Yes, right! So ab tum aur randhir...mommy daddy! And me..maasi! Thats so cool!" she said.
"Mujhe bhool gaye na sab" came a voice from over the webcam. "Main bhi toh chacha banunga...mujhe koi kuch nahi bola" jiggy pouted. "Anww jiggs" kausuki said, pulling his cheeks. "Congratulations, 'CHACHU' " she laughed. "Arey...esa nhi he. Wese sanyukta, randhir bhai! Congratulations dono ko!"
"Thanks jiggy" randhir said. "We're really happy" sanyukta added. "Ek latest addition 2 our small family!" "True sanyu" kaustuki said. "Waise...how far along are u" she asked. "2 weeks me mera 4th month complete hojayega" sanyukta blushed 'Aur phir jaldi hi mere babies aa jayenge!" she said. "Babies??" kaustuki asked. "Yes! Babies! I have twins kaustu!" she said. "Wow sanyu...thats realy awesome. So...now u'll enter ur fifth month, ha? Tumhe anomaly check kar leni chahiye na?" kaustuki asked.
"Anomaly check? Whats that?" Randhir said. "Aisa kuch hamare doctor ne toh nahi bataya hame?" he said. "Haan randhir, shayad na hi bataya ho. Usually iss test ko doctors 5th moth complete hone se pehle prescribe nahi karte. Its just like the normal sonography test. Iss test se pata chal jaata hain k baby k body me koi defect ya anomaly toh nahi hain, kyunki kuch anomalies agar jaldi detect ho jaate hain, toh unka ilaaj jyada easy ho jaata hain. Mostly it detects cardial problems, like a hole in the heart, or missing arteries, or poorly formed heart, lekin this test can detect almost every physical deformity as well. Ek aisa case hua tha jab baby ka diapragm missing tha. Tab toh doctors baby k pet (stomach) k andar rehte hi operate kiya tha. I'm not saying k tumhare babies me kuch problem ho sakti hain, but to be on the safe side, i think tum dono ko yeh test consider kr leni chahiye. It may b a little expensive, lekin sanyukta k health k saath chance nahi lena chahiye" kaustuki explained.
"U are right, kaustuki" randhir said. "Ham yeh test definitely karvaayenge. Aur tum kya keh rahi ho..expensive n all. Sanyukta k choti se choti zarurat k liye main kuch bhi karne ko taiyyaar hoon. Chahe main kabhi sadak par aa jaau, main sanyukta ko kabhi kisi chiz ki kami mehsoos nahi karne doonga." Randhir said. "Lekin haan kaustuki...tum kya yeh expenses waali baat MUJHE bata rahi ho...RS automobiles k owner ko bol rahi ho!" Randhir added, knowing that sanyukta might reprimad him for saying that he might become bankrupt. Kaustuki giggled. "Haan haan" she said, laughing. "Ab ham kya kahe! U feature in the list of the 50 richest men of the world...itne saare awards mile he tumhe aur tumhaari wife ko!" she said. "Chalo kautuki...jiggy. We need to go now...kal bohoth hi important presentation hain, we need prepare" said sanyukta, who had just finished her convo with jiggy. "Bye sanyu! Meet u in india then!" she said as the two besties blew kisses to each other and logged out.
"Randhir...m so happy! Kaustuki aur jiggy india aa jayenge!! Omg...matlab ab hamari puri dream team saath hogi delhi me! That'll be so lovely he na!!" she squealed in delight. Randhir just smiled at her and squeezed her hand. Sanyukta smiled back at him. Randhir was a man of few words and she knew that. He didn't need to open his mouth and speak to make her understand what he ws thinking. He could just keep silent and she would know all he had to tell.
"Chalo ab...khaana kha lo phir sona bhi hain. Kal office me presentation bhi he na...jaldi uthna h." Randhir reminded her. She nodded, and both of them had a lovely dinner together before calling it a night.

[A/N]: Hey everyone...i know this update is hell late...and very small. But when i had posted 2 consecutive parts in quick succession, 2 of my dii's had promised me something. But they didn't keep their promises😭 and uske liye wait karte karte kaafi late hogayi main..😭😭
