" ENOUGH, Mr.Raizada! ENOUGH! Just because I am quiet, that doesn't mean that I am wrong. I was trying hard to bring back that old Arnav who had probably changed himself due to what eventuated 6 years back. But now I realized it was not due to anyone else but Arnav Singh Raizada's ego which powers his every action." Khushi retorted back to him while her voice resonated in the silent lawns of Shantivan, taking Arnav off guard but not for too long,

" Someone so full of herself shouldn't be accusing someone else to be egoistic, Ms.Gupta. Someone who plays with every damn feeling for her own satisfaction shouldn't be saying this. Why did you even come back into my life? You extended the arm of friendship to satisfy your own ego in the past and now I wonder in the pursuit of which satisfaction you came back? More fame, more money, ego satisfaction or Ah...how did I forget this? May be you felt attracted to me in the past and felt bad that you couldn't use me to you know, satisfy your romantic fantasies and tried satisfying them on that night when I was drunk or else why would Khushi Gupta let me even inch close to her when I was drunk?"

Arnav's cheek turned red as he placed his palm against his cheek to stop the burning sensation which arose due to a slap from his mother who was fuming in anger.

" I honestly never expected to stoop down so much that you will point at the character of someone as pure as Khushi, Mr.Arnav Singh Raizada. It is true that you were in pain and who knows it better than me, but hurting someone, someone who is so deeply in love with you is not just a mistake but a sin. You accused of Khushi Bitiya of playing with you life right? But the fact is, you have played with her life, 6 years back and even now. Who would forcibly marry someone to satisfy their ego? Who would come home drunk, give hopes to someone of a beautiful future and leave them with just accusations and taunts? Arnav Singh Raizada, you have let me down as a mother. " Sadhana turned and held Khushi's hand in hers while Arnav looked at the women in shock,

"Khushi Bitiya, I am sorry that I asked you to come here and correct my son's life when he didn't deserve you at all. Even after knowing how harsh my son was with you, I still remained selfish and didn't let you go from here. But now, I don't want to be blind in my son's love as he is blind in pain.

My son doesn't deserve you, Khushi Bitiya. I am sorry to have troubled you. Ho Sake Tho Hame Maaf Kar Dena. I don't want to stop here anymore and acquire more sins to my part. Go back and lead the happy life you deserve, Beta."

" You called Khushi here, to make me go back to the Arnav I was 6 years back?" asked Arnav incredulously while his guts churned with bile already forming in his stomach as guilt throbbed through his veins.

" And that was probably the biggest mistake of my life as you have left no stone unturned in tormenting Khushi Bitiya." Sadhana's lips twisted in disgust for her own son, while Khushi held Arnav's sight with a painful gaze.

" Aapki Koi Galti Nahi Hai, Sadhana Aunty. You just wanted the best for your son, like every mother would want. You wanted your son to get back his love while I wanted my love to get back to me. Your son and my love are the same Aunty, but that person is not this Arnav Singh Raizada. He is someone who cannot see beyond his pain and hatred. He is THE ASR. I am extremely sorry, Aunty. I have failed you with what you entrusted me with. I have reached my breaking point and now I cannot take any taunt or accusation from ASR, as my self-respect would kill me from within. But I will sincerely pray that your wish of getting your son back would be fulfilled." Khushi held Sadhana's hands in her own in an affectionate gesture as she smiled through her own tears while she gave strength to Sadhana.

" But Beta, it is so late into the night. Where will you go now?" questioned Sadhana as motherly affection dripping through her voice. Arnav who was numb with regret and guilt too suddenly jerked back into the present as concern for Khushi, which never left him troubled his heart.

" I will drop her home, Aunty. Don't worry." NK's voice greeted the eardrums of all those assembled there while Khushi turned around to meet NK as words involuntarily left her mouth,

" NK, when did you come?"

" Much to Mr.ASR's luck, I didn't reach here to hear his words but after hearing yours' and Aunty's words, it wasn't much difficult to decipher what must have happened." NK was giving out death glares to Arnav who was just staring Khushi with pain,

"I hope now you understood why I was reluctant about giving away the name of the girl whose painting I saw in his farmhouse. I have always wanted the best for you, Khushi and my instincts told me that he would only hurt you."

" I should have listened to you, NK. Only if I had, this man here wouldn't have got a chance to point at my character today but maybe it all happened for the best. I realized how big a mistake it was to hope that he would change and to love him forgetting my own prized self-respect and self-esteem. Thank you so much for standing beside me always, NK." NK held her shoulder gently as he smiled at her lovingly.

" I will take your leave, Aunty. Take care. Don't let his actions take a toll on your health and if you need any help at any time, don't hesitate to call me." Sadhana engulfed Khushi into a warm and motherly embrace while Khushi decided that she will not cry anymore for the person who gave a damn about it.

It was minutes before everyone left to their respective venues, while Arnav stood all alone, basking in the moon-light which suddenly seemed to burn him. All his cruel acts, words appeared in front of him as his heart bled for Khushi's pain.

" She was here to help me on Mumma's request and I accused her of trapping me, using me to satisfy herself. Arnav Singh Raizada, you were a total jerk to her. How the hell didn't I see the true love in her eyes when I claimed to love her? Was it even love that I had for her? Or was it mere obsession?"

Arnav's thoughts went into myriads of directions while his heart find no solace, as he knew that his solace lied in Khushi, her forgiveness and her love, which he was going to get at any cost.

Will Arnav be successful in erasing Khushi's pain?

Author's Note

I know many of you are ready with your chappals to hit me, but listen to me for once. When I started this FF, all I had in my mind was so many cases I see of guys torturing the ladies who rejected them. Like seriously? Girls don't have the right to reject. Hell, we are being proposed, asked about our opinion and we will tell what we feel. It is better to let out the truth than acting according to me. And many of these lovers are actually obsessed rather than in love, so that is what I wanted to show to be honest.

Arnav loves Khushi, yes but he was and is obsessed with her and hence he forced her to marry him after kidnapping her. She already loved him like a best friend and seeing her photos everywhere in that room, gave it a new dimension which intensified as he left her life. One more truth of life, we understand the importance of people more only when they leave us. So yes, I wanted to show that too.

But there was no way, Arnav was getting away without having any guilt for forcefully marrying Khushi. Love is giving freedom while desires and obsession, technically MOH, bind you. I have been told I write redemption really well and my fictions are realistic, and I was not going to let go of it.

If you still feel it is being 'stretched' or something, I don't have anything to say. But thank you so much for reading even after feeling it is being stretched.

Not just this fiction but every fiction of mine has lots of thought put behind it and hence they are not phat se shaadi jhat se end types and I am more into serious things while writing so yes, they tend to get a bit serious.

Thank you so much for giving your love to me. It really means a lot to me. They really really motivate me to deliver a better performance every time. Keep loving, keep reading.

Arnav needs to control his damn anger! What the hell is wrong with him? -_- And he deserved that damn slap! Love Sadhana <3

And gosh finally she knocked some sense into his brain and thank God he realized his mistake!

I hope he repents and hopefully Khushi won't forgive him easily.

And obviously it was a well written update. Please teach me!
