Chapter 9

"Bhai please I really want to go, why don't you understand???" Taani said with pleading eyes.

"I understand it very well but I can't take you there in fact no one can as we have very important exam next week" Abhi tried to make her see his point.

"So what I m not saying come with me just give me permission I will go by myself."

"As if I let you go there alone." Abhi murmured but it was his bad luck that Taani heard that.

"What do you mean by that????? I m not a kid that, I can't go alone. Stop treating me like a child." Taani was frustrated she really want to go but can't because her brother think she is still his baby sis.

"What's going on???" Rey asked who just returned from morning jog, and was amused by scene before him

"World War III" Alex answered in low tone so Taani can't hear them as this was no secret that angry Taani is very dangerous.

"What???" Rey asked confused

"Here see this." Samar handed him an envelope. It was an invitation pass to an upcoming ballroom dance event that is going to be held in Blackpool town.

"What about it????" Rey asked still not understanding the reason of fight between brother sister duo.

"The problem is Taani want to go there, but Abhi said no because we have exam next week for which we have to study and Taani is angry as she think she can go alone but we all know that is not going to happen in the presence of protective Abhi." Ayan explained him who was till now was unusually silent.

Rey ponder over it. "When this even is?????" Rey asked

"Dude didn't you read whole invitation, it is tomorrow" Alex said

"And if I m not wrong its 5 to 6 six hours drive from here, correct???" Rey asked to confirm

"Yeah but why are you asking????" a dazzling smile formed on Rey's face

"I will take Taani there." Rey announced loudly enough so that Taani and Abhi both heard him and he was successful when both stop arguing and look at him shocked.

"What!!!" only this came out from their mouth.

"I said I will take Taani there." Rey said confidently.

"Are you sure its approx 6 hours drive." Abhi said

"I m 100% sure I can take her there, we can leave in evening, as event is tomorrow evening and after that we will be back by day after tomorrow." Rey suggested whole plan.

"Cool if you are going with her then I have no problem." Abhi said. "Your problem is solved, happy now???" He asked Taani.

Taani stared at him did he just say yes just like that he even don't know Rey for a very long time and he is trusting him with his baby sister for whom he is over protective, when they become so close.

"I have objection, there is no need for Rey to come with me I can go alone." Taani declared stubbornly

"But I want to." Rey said. "look I m very frustrated with this boring routine, since they are having exams next week and we are also having in 2 months all we do wake up in the morning have rehearsals then all we do is study, it really frustrates me, it will give me a break and also it will be useful for us to attend this event together maybe we will get some ideas for our couple routine which we haven't prepared yet." Rey explained when he saw everyone staring at him suspiciously

"Fine." Taani sighed agreeing on going with Rey not that she has choice. But deep down she was very excited to spend some time with Rey.

On the other side Rey was also very excited to spend some alone time with Taani as after confrontation they didn't get much time not that Taani is ignoring or something but they were so busy to wrap up group dance rehearsals that they didn't have time for couple dance preparation which means they had no alone time. "But all this going to change" Rey thought excitedly.

"Now can someone give me breakfast I m very hungry." Alex exclaimed. Everyone chuckled.

"Be careful drive safely." Abhi instructed Rey, Taani roll her eyes but inside she was happy she like her brother's protective nature for her but sometimes it irritate her, she knows many times he want to just hide her behind him protect her from world but he doesn't do that he respect her feelings her choices.

"Taani let's go." She nodded while sitting in car. Rey start driving he wanted to talk to her but thought to give her some time so he switch on music which Taani appreciate in her heart.

"Here take it." Rey handed her coffee they were driving for two hours now so thought to take a break.

"Thanks, Rey if you are tired you can rest I will drive." Taani suggested.

"No I m fine, I have been on many road trips, I m used to it." Rey decline her offer politely. "Come let's get going I want to reach there soon."

"So what kind of event it is????" Rey asked her, as he knows nothing about it, he just say yes so that he can have some time with Taani.

"Well as you already know that it's about ballroom dancing, it's a celebrity dance reality show Strictly Come Dancing' just like in India jhalak dikhlaja but this is more specifically about ballroom dancing like waltz, tango, Cha-Cha, Jive etc." Taani explained him excitedly which didn't go unnoticed by Rey

"The show you were watching on last Saturday????" Rey asked remembering last Saturday when he found her watching that.

"Yep." Taani answered.

"But that show shoot in London right???" said Rey,

"Yeah that show come live from London but every season they do there one show from Blackpool Tower Ballroom" Taani explained him further.

"I never knew you are interested in ballroom dancing." Rey said.

"Me either." Taani answered.

"Explain" said Rey

"Well when I first start dancing I started with street dance but soon I realize I m more interested in ballroom and Latin, I find myself very comfortable in it whether it is hot salsa or sophisticated Viennese Waltz it just come naturally to me." Rey saw the sparkle in her eyes which made him happy as he understood this what Taani is passionate about.

"So you are going to be a ballroom dancer????"

"Yep I m training hard for it, what are your future plans????" like that they spend whole journey talking to each other Rey told her about dance academy and his plans about wining scholarship, he also tell her about his talk with his dad. Taani give some ideas on how to deal with financial issues as she is working with Abhi in his charity dance club so she have some idea how to manage it.

"Finally here we are, look Rey there it is Blackool Tower, you know many world championships held there, take me there." Taani said with child like excitement in her voice on which Rey chuckled. Unknown to Taani she was talking to him like she used to before.

"We will go there tomorrow; look there is so much media looks like the stars of the show are already there I don't think they will let common people in." Rey reasoned with her when he saw media surrounded the Tower.

"Oh Rey don't be such a spoilsport let's go there no one will stop us." Taani forced Rey to come with her.

"Taani let's not, see is freaking cold, okay let's do one thing first we should rent some hotel to spend the night and tomorrow we will go for sightseeing and we are already going there tomorrow." Rey tried talk to her again but inside he was happy that she was demanding him to come with her.

"You said Na that you were getting bored back in London now I m going to show you some exciting things come. And about hotel don't worry I already booked that online." Taani didn't give any value to Rey's protest and drag him with her. Much to his surprise they got entry.

"It's beautiful." Rey commented

"I know, it's my dream to compete here. It's just magical..." Said Taani admiring the ballroom but Rey was busy admiring her.

"Rey are you listening???" Taani asked when he didn't answered the question she asked.

"Huh!!! Yeah I m listening, how we got entry I don't see anyone here other then show crew????" Rey diverted the topic.

"Oh I got entry because..."

"Taani is that you????" someone asked Rey turned to see a man of their age maybe two or three years older coming toward them.

"So finally you make it huh????" he said and hugged Taani and pecked her cheeks. Taani did the same to him.

"Of course I have to or else who would save me from your wrath?????" Taani joked.

"Don't be so mean to me, when I get angry on you???" He pouted.

Their teasing session was broken by Rey who cleared his throat, not liking their closeness a bit

"Oh sorry this is Aljaz Skorjanec a professional dancer my trainer and Aljaz he is Rey Reyansh Singhania my..."

"Your boyfriend right," Aljaz said excitedly and why not he never seen her interested in relationships since he met her. Taani wanted to correct him but he was keep blabbering how happy he was for her. Rey's situation was totally different he don't know what happen to him just a minute back he want to punch this guy for even hugging his Taani and now he himself want to hug him.

"Stop blabbering or else I m going." Taani announced.

"Okay sorry, hey I m Aljaz." He introduced himself to Rey.

"Rey" Rey put his hand forward for hand shake but Aljaz pulled him in a hug.

"Sorry guys I would love to show you around but I have final rehearsals to attend." Aljaz apologize.

"It's okay you go we will manage." Taani assured him.

"Are you sure???" he asked

"Yes I m, now go." Taani replied.

"Okay, see you guys later." With that he left.

"So he was the reason we got entry here." Rey stated.

"Yeah how do you think I manage passes for the event." Said Taani. "Let's go I will show you where we are staying then you can take rest." Taani continued when she saw how tired Rey looked.

"yeah let's go." Rey was happy to be here, he was enjoying this new side of Taani.
