I was really frustrated with nandini she was being unreasonable just because I said some nice words for her sister she got angry wow! seriously ohh come on she was the one who over reacted in front of everyone and what wrong did I said I didn't find her sister what her name ahh haa raima bad maybe nandini is just getting insecure ahh!! I need a drink she's so unpredictable I went out of my room and took beer can when I met cabir on the way he was discussing about some office stuffs and then said its time to get ready I was walking back when I bumped into a girl and she was about to fall but I immediately held her and that's when I saw her it was nandini's step sister raima we both straightened ourselves
Nandini was looking for manik to talk him about morning when she saw raima in manik's arms seeing both of them together like this just made her blood boil and she clenched her fist tightly she coudnt bare the sight of seeing any girl in his arms as it was her right only so she went towards them
"I think you have become my saviour" raima said in a seductive tone and manik immediately moved away from her
"uhmm yaa" manik said being embarrassed
"you know now I think the wedding would be more fun" raima said in a seductive tone and moved towards him just then nandini called manik's name and she moved away
"manik we need to talk" nandini said in an angry furious tone
"ohh di even we need as there is a lot to catch up" raima said and winked at her
"manik we are here for the work so if you are done then can we please" nandini said gritting her teeth and even manik was taken aback by seeing her angry without paying any heed to raima's words
"yaa okay come" manik said and moved away leaving the two girls behind
Nandini turned towards raima "raima you are here for the wedding so am I so just not make any fuss around so that Tia's mood get spoiled and one more thing we have no relation except formal one as guests so better keep your drama with yourself" nandini said and walked away from there towards manik
"so tell what you wanted to talk about?" manik said folding his hands on his chest
"what were you doing?" nandini said angrily
"what were?" manik asked confused by her sudden mood swings
"with that raima" nandini said gritting her teeth and fluffling with anger
"raima nothing" manik said and then he looked at her face and smirked "why were you jealous seeing me with her?" "what?" nandini almost yelled and everyone started looked at them
"what what? accept it honey that you were jealous" he smirked looking at her condition
"no way I wasn't jealous" she said without making an eye contact little did she knew that he already knows she was jealous seeing them this close "anyways I have better works than to see around for people in each others arm" she said the last sentence to herself but he heard her
when she was about to walk away manik held her arm and pulled her towards himself with a jerk that her back collided with her broad chest and she shivered with the proximity but she composed herself as there were many people passing by
"manik wh..aaat a.rr...ee y..ouu doing leave me" she stuttered due their proximity
"me nothing just wanted to ask you what was the important thing that you wanted to say" he whispered huskily in her ears sending shivers down her spine but she didn't responded so he again asked "say na nandini"
"I wa..n.ted t..oo aa..sk ab..out th.e arri..vall of t..hhee dresses" she was stammering continuously and manik was enjoying her this state
"you sure you wanted to ask this only" manik asked her
"yess ..i.m sure" nandini said with lot of difficulty as his proximity was giving jitters to her and manik smirked seeing the effect he has on her
"okay then" manik said and left her suddenly and nandini got embarrassed
"yaa" nandini said and hurriedly left from there
"ohh god nandini you were jealous with that raima seriously but then its the only way to make you loose in your own set of rules and its really gonna be one heck of a wedding" manik said ruffling his hairs with a playful smile on his face
Evening 7 pm
Nandini was running here and there and making calls as on the last minute the dress wasn't liked by Tia so nandini just ordered a new dress for her all the way from New York which hasn't arrived at and she was tensed as only two hours were left for the function to begin finally after half an hour the dress arrived and she sighed in relief but it wouldn't have been possible if manik hasn't helped her so finally she handed the dress to Tia and let her get ready as she wanted to make sure that there wasn't any faults and luckily it was perfect

She then looked at the time in the wall clock and saw its already 8.30 and she wasn't ready yet so she hurriedly left for her room and luckily she has taken her dress out already she went to take a shower first immediately and then wrapping herself in a pink towel and hairs in another dry she came to the room and first dried her hairs and then did her makeup and then curled her hair and tied in a loose bun and then slipped into her backless pink ankle length gown with shimmery work till her waist and slit on her left leg exposing her leg till mid thighs she got into her bernetti 6 inches heels she took her phone and saw 8 missed call 4 from mukti 2 from Aliya and 2 from cabir she cursed under her breadth and taking her cluctch and while wearing her earing she left and on her way she crashed with someone as she wasn't looking in front and landed in his arms
"I'm sorry" she muttered without looking up and straightened herself
"woah nandini why so hurry?" the person and she looked up to see it was manik wearing his favourite smirk
She looked at him to see wearing a navy blue tux over white shirt and black bow tie which perfectly fitted his muscular body and hairs gelled up nicely looking no less than a Greek God she cannot stop but ogle at him for a moment
"like what you see?" he asked in a husky tone and she immediately averted her gaze and blushed as she was caught checking him out
"ah..hh anyways I'm late as mukti is calling from long and if I'm not mistaken so you are" nandini said hiding her blush and manik smirked seeing her flushed but didn't said anything else
"yes we are so lets go" he said and she moved but he stopped her by holding her hands
"what?" she asked and looked at his hand holding her wrist
"one minute" he said and moved towards her
Her breath hitched in her throat as his lips was only inches away from her she immediately closed her eyes and waiting for his to touch her but then not seeing her close she opened her eyes and saw him at a distance she frowned
"what you earing were twisted so I just made it right" he said seeing her frown "wait a minute were you expecting something else" he said raising an eyebrow
"no..nothing" she said and immediately looked away all flushed
"nandini" he called her and she looked at him and hmmed
"you look beautiful" he said and she blushed
"thankyou and even you look handsome" which made him blush too

The party was at the backside of the house a beautiful gazebo was prepared with blue and white lights all round giving it a complete party look in the centre platform was made for dance a soft music was played at the background some couples were swinging with the soft music the waiter roaming around with drinks and starters and the bride and groom were on the little stage meeting their friends and family.
Both manik and nandini moved towards were their friends were seeing them coming together both mukti and cabir exchanged looks
"hey guyzz" nandini said cheerfully
"ohh thank god you came we thought we would see you after the party ends" cabir joked and everyone laughed and nandini rolled her eyes
"shut up cabir I'm not that late also and who reaches the party at 9'o clock" nandini said
"yeah right but still nandini where were you?" mukti asked
"woah actually some last minute problem happened in Tia's dress so we had to order a new dress so I was buzy there" nandini explained
"ohh god nandini you should have said us na" Aliya said
"no go its fine and manik handled it so no worries now" nandini said and smiled at manik
"okay guyzz come on lets hit the dance floor" mukti said excitedly and all the couples went on the dance floor leaving manan behind
They both were just standing there nandini took a drink from the passing waiter and manik was just looked here and there both were dyeing to dance with one another but no one made a move as they were thinking the other will asked finally after waiting for so long nandini was now about to him being frustrated of him not making a move but then a random man came and asked for dance she looked at manik but he looked away so she gave in and went on the dance floor with him.

I was waiting for her to make a move but no she didn't so I decided that I should ask her I was going to ask her when I random boy came and asked her she looked at me and I looked away pretending not to care but deep down I knew I do she gave in and went to the dance floor with her that man's hand was on her bare waist I couldn't help but notice they were dancing not so close but for me it was enough to trigger my anger I didn't liked her dancing with anyone I took the drink from the waiter and gulped it down in one go looking at them I was angry I felt someone's tap on my shoulder I turned around to find raima standing there with a smile
"hey manik" she said cheerfully
"hi" I said with a fake smile
"what are you doing here standing alone and not dancing?" she asked me dumb girl cant she see I don't have a partner
"just like that only" I said with a little annoyed tone
"ohh then why don't you dance with me" she asked suddenly holding her handout
"actually.." I was going to say no but then I realised how jealous nandini was seeing me raima earlier " yes why not come lets go" so I said yes to see nandini's reaction she immediately wrapped her arms around me and went to the dance floor

I was dancing with some random guy named rey he was sam's friend I turned my gaze to see manik dancing with some grl waering a red gown having cuts on various places her back was not visible to me but when they turned it was raima I gaped in shock out of all person he got her to dance with anger rose inside me seeing me this close I immediately excused myself and went to bar counter and gulped down the drink kept there it burned my throat little I took another and this time it felt good I was so angry that I gulped almost 20 drinks seeing them and after that I lost my senses

Manik was looking here and there searching for nandini but she know where on the dance floor he saw the guy whom she was dancing with some other girl he got worried and excuse himself from raima he looked everywhere around the hall but she wasn't there a sudden fear crept inside me remembering the incident last time with harshad I walked out immediately towards her room but she wasn't there I was getting more and more tense I looked around the house and saw a familiar figure near the pool and that's when I got my breadth back it was nandini

"what the hell are you doing here?" manik roared at her pulling her by arms to which she scrunched her eyebrows and removed his hands and moved back to gazing stars
"why are you not responding?" manik shouted but again getting no response his anger reached to next level but calming himself down he stood infront of her and held her by shoulders "nandini" he called her name softly and she looked at him "what are you doing here?" manik asked softly
"uff manik i was watching stars na you disturbed me" nandini said and pouting in anger he moved forward and smelled her breadth
"you are drunk" manik said in a horrified tone
"whaat don't you know nandini murthy doesn't get drunk" she said in her childish tone and manik sighed as its gonna be one hell of a night
"nandini come lets go to your room" manik said pulling her with him
"nooo i don't want to go anywhere with you" nandini said angrily and freed herself
"nandini listen don't argue and come with me" manik said again trying t hold her but she backed out
"I said I don't want to go anywhere with you, you go dance with that raima" nandini said huffing in anger and folding her arms across her chest and manik just smiled seeing her childish acts
"but nandini you only didn't asked me for dance" manik said innocently controlling her smile
"really?" nandini asked and he nodded "so i.ff I had asked you then you would have danced with me?" she asked twinkling her eyes
"yes absolutely" manik said seeing her innocence
"ohh" nandini said and was thinking something "but you you could have also asked na" she said suddenly
"okay then i will ask now so miss murthy would you give me the honours to dance with you" manik said forwading his hand and nandini stared at his hand and then back at him
"no still i don't want to dance with you" she said and turned around
"are you sure" manik asked again and she nodded
