**********

I love the way Aneri has embraced her family. The way she reaches out to welcome everyone to her home. It's her Zia, her Nonna, her Nonna's heirloom. How can anyone help but love this adorable little girl. Bella, you have a great big sis to look up to.

And Sophia's Ari's Bambina is so like her Ari. What an absolutely adorable scene it was when she goes to him all tinkling away. The way she leans into him, the way she strokes his jaw silently. A father and daughter so in sync with the other. And a mother and wife who knows just what her daughter and husband need. And is not afraid to voice it. But, it's the balance that she has that is excellent. That between saying what she feels is right and supporting and understanding what Arnav is feeling.

For Arnav, having seen what he has, to forgive and accept Avinash would be a very tall ask. To see a mother go through what Sophia did, coupled with the helplessness he would have felt at not being able to do anything about it, would leave an indelible scar. I think even accepting Anjali's improved relations with their father has already been a huge step for him.

But, Aneri's curiosity will have to be answered. The children will speak of him. And it's not feasible to divert her attention each time.

The most moving moment for me was the conversation between Arnav and Anjali. It was a beautiful reflection of the love they have for each other.

"Do you think Ma would have approved of Aneri?"

Such a movingly poignant moment. All those shared childhood memories with their mother moving like a kaleidoscope in front of them. Moments of joy that are looked back with wistfulness. Anjali's heartfelt happiness at seeing her brother content was so lovely. It was that deep feeling of contentment that you could see Sophia having as well.

An extraordinary daughter for her Ari. Just what she would have prayed and wished for.

Beautiful update Jigs, as always.
Every update it feels like you sprinkle magical glitter of words and we get mesmerized with it completely.

Festivals are always emotional as it is the time we meet up with family, with siblings, share memories, celebrate traditions and more than anything rejoice the fact that we have a loving family who love us and care for us.

This Christmas is indeed special as Aneri is there to complete the family. And not only Arnav and Anjali, I missed Sofia too. How happy she would have been if she was alive seeing Arnav and Khushi's life filled with happiness with the arrival of their special princess.

Loved the portion where they talked about the Christmas ornaments and how it was passed on from their mother.

I always thought it would be Sidhu who would be jealous sharing his Zia but it was Aneri who did not want to share her mom. I guess Sidhu is used to sharing after Bella was born. Birth of a sibling does change so many things in a kid and makes the kid learn so much more.

Coming to Avinash, as an observer, as a neutral person, I can still forgive him for cheating his wife but not abandoning his kids.

Assuming that his marriage was on the rocks and he did find his soul mate with someone else is still acceptable even though the way he dealt with it was just filthy, yet how could he just abandon his kids for years together and not even try to find out how they were, whether they were even dead or alive.
Sometimes it surprises me how Anjali forgave him, but maybe with time the bitterness she felt towards him might have reduced and having not witnessed first hand of her mother's struggles and pain maybe made it easier for her to forgive and move on.

But Arnav who witnessed everything, it is understandable that he does not want to let go of the past.
I feel that Anjali and Khushi should just let him be as he wishes. Love and relationships cannot be forced and what is the use of even such forced ties where there is no bonding of love.

It is ironical right, even after Sofia's death, her kids remember her, cherish her love, shed tears missing her, tell her stories to their kids, whereas Avinash who is alive hardly features atleast in Arnav's life.
One mistake and it cost Avinash everything in life. He lived a life of guilt, and now in his twilight years, he is alone, craving for his son's forgiveness and company.

Anyways, can a few words of forgiveness from Arnav erase all the years of bitterness between the father and son? Arnav might still say that he will forgive his father but truly can he forget everything?

But that is just my opinion Jigs. Will wait and see how you plan to take the story forward.

Thank you for giving us the update in spite of your busy schedule.

Hi

Ahhh Jigs! What do I say? Where do I begin? Do I talk about the absolute innocence of the children that you have captured so really well? Do I marvel at the small 'adas' of your Ari that remind me of the childhood of the kids in my own family? Ari's hiding under the table when Arnav comes home... My nephew, who I call my first born, at around that age used to hide behind curtains or couches and yell out 'Mujhe dhoondo'. Or my own son hiding under the quilt with a little foot sticking out for all to see, yet secure in the knowledge that the game will be played the proper way. I have not forgotten these moments... They just jumped suddenly into bright focus as I read this chapter. The interaction between the cousins... the easy acceptance... but with all the acceptance, sharing Mumma is really not on the menu. Bella copying Ari, Ari looking out for Bella, Ari sulking at the dining table yet not saying anything, walking into Arnav's bedroom with feet dragging... the sound of the tiny payals alerting Arnav... hugging Arnav and sharing her grievance... Each precious moment drawn with such attention to detail. Just beautiful yaar!

And then there are Arnav and Khushi... taking to parenthood and all that it entails... sidelining their own needs because a tiny person's needs are now priority. I have agreed with Arnav's hatred of his father throughout the story... I would fuel it more if only I could send my thoughts to him telepathically... but Khushi is right. That is not a burden for their child, for that matter for any of the children. They can not know the ugliness of the past. That is what parents do... protect their kids from the ugliness of the world for as long as possible.

I have always loved the exchanges between your Arnav and Khushi, be they in love or in argument. Coz they are both strong individuals... not willing to give in easily yet the bottom line is crystal clear to both, even in the heat of the moment. Khushi does not want Arnav to let his bitter relationship with his father affect their family... but she is wise enough to realize that if she lets her ego get in the way then she would be guilty of doing exactly the same. Perfection. God you have given your characters such beautiful strength... it is a pleasure to read.

Beautiful Jigs, just beautiful. Thank you so much for continuing with this story even with all the demands that life has on your time. So proud of you my friend!

Love and regards,

This could be mine or your family.. The pride and joy Aneri brings is so evident in Arnav and Khushi lives .. a father indulging his princess.. a Mother well attuned as to how to to engage her daughter. The reassurance Arnav seeks from Anajli reaffirms the siblings love and respect for each other.

Aneri is embracing her new life and family with an open heart and creative imagination.. the hide and seek game with her father .. she is a sponge that absorbs it all- that's who kids are. She draws all in with her magnetic charm..

How long before Avinash would be mentioned in the Raizada home crossed my mind from the time they came home..

How long will Arnav avert Aneris attention not to ask questions..

How much longer will Aranv hold his grudge.. becoming a father himself now .. will he ask himself how important would it be for him to ever to gain Aneri's forgiveness, should he ever make a mistake.
