TOI:Hindi TV shows coming to an end in 2016:Lajwanti

Zee TV's popular show 'Lajwanti' was launched with a bang but couldn't impress the viewers much. The show was a period drama revolving around the era when India and Pakistan were not divided. Unable to fetch TRPs, the show will telecast its last episode on February 5. The show was a finite series. When an online entertainment portal contacted Ila Bedi, the producer of the show, she confirmed the news by saying, "Yes, it's true that Lajwanti is going off-air. It was a finite series and depicted by grandfather's story."
