Chapter 22

raman after putting ansh to sleep.. goes to the bed where ishita was laying... he sits beside her and holds her hands and kisses them... and says: long time ish... four years... ab to uth jao... I cant see you like this... your son misses you a lot... I miss you a lot... Please get up...

he kisses her forehead and says: good night...

he goes to ansh and lovingly pats his head and drifted into dreamland.. with a hope that new day will bring happiness in his life..

MORNING:

raman sleeping peacefully hugging ansh... the sun rays make him stir in sleep.. gets up and kisses ansh forehead and smiles.. looks at the other bed where ishita laying .. he gets up and goes to her kisses her forehead and says: good morning ish... I am going to have bath... please take care of your son... and leaves...

ansh gets up and rubs his eyes and searches his papa but could not find.. he sees his mother laying on bed... he gets up and walks towards her... stands on his toes and kisses the cheek of his mother...

ansh: good morning mumma... ansh love you so much...

a lone tear escape from the close eyes of ishita... ansh again kisses the cheek of his mother and says: I miss you so much mumma...

ansh: papa kehty hain ap jaldi theek ho jaogi... Get well soon mumma... I promise I will never bother you...he pinches his neck

raman was listening all the talks of ansh to ishita he gets teary... he wipes his tears and comes to him takes him in hug.. kisses his both cheeks and make him sit in his lap

raman: good morning anshoo... mumma say akele akele baatain ho rahi hain...

ansh nods and says: apne suna to nahe??? He pouts...

raman: no...

ansh: ye mumma ansh ka secret hai...

raman: acha...

ansh widely smiles... raman kisses his forehead and hugs him.. and sees ishita...

ansh: papa aik baat poochoon?? ( can I ask you some thing)

Raman: hmmm

Ansh: mumma kab theek hongi??? (when will mumma get fine)

Raman: bohat jaldi... Ansh mumma say kitna pyaar karta hai...( very soon... how much ansh loves mumma?)

Ansh open his little arms and says: itna sara...

Raman: aur papa mumma say itna sara pyaar karty hai...(and papa loves mumma so much) he also opens his arms and continues: jab papa aur ansh mumma say itna saara pyaar karty hain to mumma jaldi say theek ho jaingi...( papa and ansh loves mumma so much so mumma will get fine soon)

Ansh was staring at raman with his little hands on hips... raman pinches his nose and says: what happen my prince...

Ansh angrily pouts at raman and say apko kitni baar kaha hai... (how many times I told you)

Raman: kiya???

Ansh: I love mumma more ...

Raman: acha mery baap... Tum mumma say sab say zyada pyaar karty ho...

Ansh: aur mumma mujse zyada pyaar karti hain...(mumma loves me more)

Raman nods and lifts him and says: haan baba haan...mumma loves you more ... okay... chalo ready ho jain... aj mihir chachu arahy hain... phr dadi dadu bhi ayengay...

Ansh happily dances in raman lap and says: yay... bohat maza ayega... raman smiles at ansh..

Mihir and mihika comes there and gets busy with ansh... raman was sitting with ishita holding her hand and staring at her... mihika comes there and sees him...

Mihika presses his shoulder.. raman wipes his tears and turns and smiles...

Raman: ansh tang to nahe kar raha...

Mihika shook her head in negative and holds his hand... raman sees her... mihika: ishita will get fine...

Raman nods...

Mihir also comes there and hugs raman and says: don't worry raman Bhabhi will get fine...

Raman: isi umeed per to jee raha hoon mihir ( I am living at this hope)

Ansh comes there and says: papa dadu agaye...

Raman : you two go .. I will come after some time...

Mihika: come na raman...

Ansh comes and holds mihika pallu and says: chachi...

Mihika sits at her knees and signs what... ansh whispers in her ears: papa ka secret hai kisi ko mat batana... mihika put her finer on lips..

Ansh: mumma lonely lonely hongi na idhar... that's why papa is here... then papa will go and I will sit with mumma and talks to her...

Mihika sees ansh with teary eyes and hugs him and says: oh... Sorry ansh chachi bhuddu hai na...

Ansh: shh... Itna bara secret bataya hai apko.. aur ap boly chaly ja rahy ho...

Mihika nods and says: okay boss.. you go to dadu... chachu chachi abhi aaty hain...

Ansh runs from there and while mihika and mihir silently leaves the room. Raman holds her hands and kisses her forehead and says: get up ish...

Toshi jee comes and ask raman to come with them... raman reluctantly leaves...

Ansh playing in room with mihir sees raman sitting with his dadi and dadu... thinks that his mumma will be alone... he tells mihir that he is going to his mumma.. mihir nods and says that he will clean this mess.. ansh leaves the room and stops listening to the talks of his dadu..

Toshi jee: puttar.. ghar chal...

Raman: maa don't force me... I will only come to home when ishita will get alright...

Toshi jee: I never forced you raman... ishita slips into coma due to ansh birth and you decided to live in this flat I did not oppose... but please raman try to understand...

Raman: maa how many time I told you don't connect the two events... ansh aur ishita ka coma mei hona do alag baat hai.. kiya kehna chahty ho kay ansh ishita ki halat ka zimedaar hai..

Toshi jee: puttar.. I did not mean to say that ansh is responsible.. I was only saying...

Mr bhalla intervenes: toshi jee chup karo... raman tum bhi...

Raman: papa...

Mr bhalla: I know raman... you are very possessive towards ansh... and you also know that toshi jee did not mean to say that..

Raman: sorry maa...

Toshi jee: its okay puttar...

The little lad gets shocked.. he runs to his mother and stands infront of her sleeping figure and cries...

Ansh: mumma... papa kehty hain jab mien choto baby tha tab aap stairs say gir gayi thi... per dadi kehti hai kay... and cries...

Ansh: agar mein na hota to ap theek hoty... I am sorry mumma...

Mihir comes to hall and sees ansh is not there. He goes to the room and also does not find ansh there... he gets panic... he rushes to raman..

Raman: kiya hua??

Mihir: ansh...

Raman gets up and holds mihir and says: he is fine na...

Mihir: raman...

Raman: tu muje dara raha hai mihir... ( you are scaring me mihir)

Mihir: ansh ghar mien nahe hai..

Raman was shocked... he stares at mihir and shook his head in negative and says: he will be with ish...

Mihir: I have seen there...

Raman: balcony..

Mihir: every where... ansh is not in house...

Raman: I have not seen in hall .. so he must be in house... ansh never goes out alone...

Mihika: raman gate is open...

All rushes outside to see ansh... they tries to find ansh every where but could not find him... raman was too shattered.. he was not in his senses... mr bhalla holds him...

Raman: I cant lose him... ish ko kiya kahonga...

Toshi jee: lets go to police...

Mr bhalla: before 24 hours they will not file complaint...

Raman: papa.. ansh.. kahan hoga..cries he was too weak to have another heart break

Mr bhalla: don't worry... we will find him... you go home.. we will find.. I am calling romi and abhi...

Raman: I am not going home..

Toshi jee: puttar ishita is alone at home...

Raman thinks about ishita and rushes to home and sees her laying peacefully... he angrily sees her and shouts: at least now get up ish... your son is missing... I lost him ish... I lost him... get up...punish me.. get up ish... why are you punishng me ish.. you are angry on me... okay... promise I will bring back ansh.. but get up ish... He leaves... ishita moves her fingers...

Raman return home dejectedly not finding ansh.. he goes to room and gets shocked... he rubs his eyes and sees... tears were in his eyes...
