Mr Malhotra will see you now Part 21

She knows! She knows! My eyes widen automatically in panic. My mouth is agape, unable to utter a single word. I can't deny what's already sealed upon my soul. I'm unworthy, tortured, and at this moment I'm baring all my soul to her to do as she wishes. I'm all hers. Only hers. "Yes," I whisper. "I do." I am bewildered scared by my own admission. I said it out loud! I have finally admitted, and named the feeling inside me for this goddess before me. My insides twist and I have this gut wrenching feeling that I'm unworthy of loving her. Nandini looks joyous, happy, and she has this contained love and longing for me in her gaze. She looks so innocent, so enticing, so heavenly, and that makes me feel like shit; a man devoid of a soul should not be in love with a girl like this. I can't bear the way she looks at me as if nothing exists other than her in the universe. I have hurt her and possible I will do more loving her scares me and I don't know if the risk I am willing to take or not being away from her almost made me dead now that I have her I will try and be the guy she fell in love with. She is staring at me with all the love she slowly moves and pecks on my lips making me close my eyes and feel every bit of it

"I love you to Manik I will never leave you I promise but only on one condition" I look at her "what is it?" I am willing to take every step I can to have her by my side "no secrets?" how can I promise such a thing with her when I only don't know why which life past comes up and hit us both but this risk I will take "I promise no more secrets" she smiles and hugs me. "Let me love you," I say my voice thick with emotion. "Yes," she says, I sweep her up in my arms, and as my lips seek hers, I worship her, love her as I am basked in all the emotions, implore her to love me, too...She is mine..and mine alone. As I kiss her, consume her, devour her with my love, and desire; I realize that she's the one I cherish, I want, I love with all my existence! Every way that I am...loving, moody, demanding, possessive, in-love, scared, worried, worshiping, damaged, control freak, bossy, Greek god... All fifty shades of me love Nandini Oberio!

Nandini's POV

I have a lot of work to sort out. I feel powerful and I need to power dress to enhance my confident attitude. Thank God Alya send me my stuff here which I was in need. I shower and make the best job I can with my hair before slipping my dress on and grabbing my red heels on the way downstairs Manik has already left he had an early morning meeting without even meeting me just one message this guy is too much. I told him last night whatever Clare said i can't face her today she will again ask me about Manik and I will have no answer. I reach office and in no time get busy in my work. Thankfully Clare hadn't asks me anything yet.

As ten o'clock hits, I've been in the office for three hours and I've got mountains of work done. I pick up my desk phone to call Abhi about the latest designs for Mrs Keen when i hang up and swing back around in my chair nearly having a seizure when I'm confronted with my Greek God, who's looking down at me with raised, cunning eyebrows. His handsome face spreads into his customary roguish grin. I'm instantly on high alert. He looks bloody delicious as well, in his grey suit and pale blue shirt; He's shaved his five days' worth of stubble and fixed his hair. My eyes are delighted and happy to see him I missed him this morning. "How lovely to see you Nandini" he says smoothly as he reaches forward and puts his hand out. His jacket sleeve rides up, revealing his gold Rolex. I place my hand in his he grips them I whisper the words quietly "what are you doing here" he smiles his million dollar smile making me blush "I came to see my baby can't I" he winks and before I could say anything "Ah! Mr Malhotra" Clare's cheerful voice invades my ears as she approaches my desk from her office. I release my hold of Manik. "How good to see you I was just asking Nandini yesterday if she had heard from you" "Mrs Gaskins how are you?" Manik gives her his full on melt worthy smile, usually reserved for me. "Very good how was your business trip?" Clare asks. Manik's eyes swing to mine briefly before returning to Clare's. "I just secured my most precious asset" he replies completely composed. Assets? Am I an asset? He eyed me I so want to kill him but I can't right now "Did you receive the deposit I made?" he asks. Clare's face lights up. "Yes absolutely thank you I just received an hour ago" she confirms. Now I get it why Clare was so calm today. "Good as I said before I'm eager to get things moving my unexpected business trip has put us a bit behind" He says looking at me. "Of course I'm sure Nandini will sort you out" said Clare, Manik looks at me; God this guy will kill me! "I'm sure she will" he says quietly "I was going to ask Nandini if she would like to join me for some brunch so we can go over a few things. You don't mind" That last part was definitely not a question. Oh yes Manik Malhotra and his control freak nature. "Be my guest" Clare says happily. I notice he doesn't ask me. "Actually, I have an appointment at lunchtime" "That's not until noon" Manik points out, and I look at him. "I won't keep you too long" he adds in his husky voice. "There you go" Clare sings as she walks off to her office. "It was nice to see you, Mr Malhotra" he nods towards her then looked at me.

I gaze up at the man who I love beyond measure, and I am literally trembling. He is playing it awesome and making me nervous. "Shall we?" he asks, as he puts his hands in his pockets. I collect my phone from my desk and stuff it in my bag, along with my file for my next meeting. I'll need to head straight to The Royal Park for my meeting with Harshad he called early morning he wanted to talk about our project together. He holds the door open for me, and Mukti comes walking through before I have a chance to exit "Mr Malhotra" she smirks at us "Nandini where you going?" now this is supposed to be more awkward "Miss Vardan I presume" said Manik totally composing professional talks "of course heard so much about you glad we could meet" she said but this time with anger "I hope good things" Manik says "yes many good things that how can you be such a jerk" my mouth gaps open "Mukti calm down" I say "no Nandini Mr Malhotra should know how big ass he has been this past week am I right?" she said with twitching eyebrows "Mukti I know you are angry at me but listen to me" Manik tried talking to her but she was not in a mood to listen "no Mr Malhortra let me say this clearly if again for once you left without telling her anything I will make sure you never see her again and nandini this time you forgive him for some good reason which he gave but next time just kick him hard he deserves it he is my brother but I hate him for doing this" saying this Mukti went away I was still trying to understand what ever she said to Manik because I would have never said such things. "wao that was hasty" I said looking at Manik "well I kind of deserve it" said Manik asking for my hand I placed mine "yes you did am glad she did my work for me" and we walk out "yes she did and now you have another fan" I smile as we walk towards the car and when I placed a kiss on his cheek which he looked at me with a shock "what's that for an that to in front of the office Miss Oberio?" I giggled "hmm that is for the promise you made with me last night" he looked at me "that is my most favorite voice" "which one" I ask "your giggling" and I giggled again "let's go Mr Malhotra I have a meeting remember?"

We reached the restaurant The Ritz one of the posh restaurants of London. The waiter took our order and left us alone I gazed at him his eyes were locked on me "what is it manik?" I ask seeing the darkness inside them "what did I do to deserve you in my life?" this question took me back "what do you mean" I ask him "nandini life is not simple when you are with me am telling you this because you still don't know much about me a lot is still unknown to you and the thought that it may hurt you frightens me" I kept looking at him as he spoke "manik nothing frightens me more than the thought that you won't open up to me I have decided what I want and who I want to be with and for that I am willing to do anything it's just you who have to open up to me tell me everything what your heart feels" he smiles " I promise I will" and kisses my hand. Just as we were talking our order came by We eat in a comfortable silence, the waiter checking if everything is to our satisfaction at regular intervals. How could it not be? When we're done, he clears our plates swiftly and Manik asked for the bill. "come let's leave you will be late and I have a meeting too" he offered his hand and I took it "thank you for the breakfast" I say looking at him "always baby, where to now?" "Royal park hotel?" I say "great I will drop you it is on my route" I can't deny because he won't agree I know well.

So, I've just had a business breakfast with Mr Malhotra, of which the only business we discussed is crazy stuff. "What am I going to tell Clare?" I turn and look at him. Oh, he is so handsome. "What, about us?" He flicks his eyes to me happily; he is excited that I will tell her we are together. "No about our business breakfast what have we discussed?" He shrugs "Tell her we have agreed fees and I want you at my condo on Friday to finalize the designs" he winks at me "it is not that simple" I sigh sitting back in my seat and looking across the parks. He places his hand on my knee and squeezes. "Baby it is not that complicated also" Manik parks up outside The Royal Park "I'll see you at home" He cares my face slowly with his hand taking his time to say his goodbye. I let him. "Six-ish" I confirm as he kisses the corner of my mouth and grins "ish" he smiles "off you go" I hop out wave at him and walk inside.

I have to talk to Manik about my living at his house it is not like I have moved in with the guy I should go to my home instead of Manik's. Tonight I will talk to him. I make up my mind and walk inside to meet Harshad though the thought creeps me out because last time he asked me about Manik and my relationship but as I have vowed to keep my personal and professional life separate I will stick to it. When I walk in to see Harshad already settled on the place where we last meet "Nandini good to see you again" His lightly offered his hand to me which I shake precisely. "And you too Mr Saxena are you here with the drafts for the designs?" "yes of course I thought why delay let's finish the work so that as I get back we start our project." I nod and took seat on the leather couches. I look at the drafts and showed him my work which I thought we can do with the building "Nandini these are amazing" "I'm glad" I smile brightly. We spend a few hours discussing the designs and budgets. He is really quite easy to be around, which is a huge relief after he invited me to dinner at our previous meeting. I was worried things would be awkward, but it's not at all. He took my answer and didn't press it further. We were engrossed in work when I sense him near me I looked around to see but couldn't see him "Nandini are you okay?" asked Harshad "huh? Ya am fine" I say looking distract. How can he not be here I know he is somewhere my heart never lies to me about him. I was lost when I heard his voice "Nandini?" I turn to see and he stood right behind me the look in his eyes clearly tells me it was not the look I was hoping for his eyes were red with anger and he was looking at Harshad but me "Manik" I say and before I move ahead Harshad speak up "Manik Malhotra finally the prodigal son" he smirks at him and Manik anger rises

This is bad, this is not good at all my heart beats faster "Nandini go sit in the car" said Manik without looking at me "but Manik?" Manik looked at me in anger which scares me "I said go sit in the car" "come on Manik you and your bossiness give her some slack she doesn't know who the real you are?" said Harshad "Nandini" said Manik without looking at me I pick my stuff to leave when Harshad caught hold of my hand giving me shock I look at him "he is not the guy for you Nandini trust me on this" "leave her hand right now" said Manik in anger but Harshad was not willing to let go. He was smiling wickedly making Manik more anger he was playing him he wanted a scene to be created he wanted to make him burst and show his anger I can't let this happen I quickly turned around and swift my hand to get out of his grasp and moved towards Manik hurriedly "calm down please" I try to place my hand on his heart but he jerks it away making me startled "GO RIGHT NOW" he shouts at me I take a deep breath and try again to place my hand but this time on his arm "please be careful I am outside" he stares at me for a minute but says nothing nor he does anything I slowly walk out leaving him with Harshad the only thought I had in my mind was what is his and Harshad's relation? Why was he so angry? Many questions but one thing is for sure Nandini Oberio your life is not going to be simple as you think loving Manik Malhotra is trouble.
