RD'S P.O.V.
P-"Rd if there is something inside you then just talk it out. Rd Sanyukta's real medicine is you n not these tablets. Whenever u fell down till now, Sanyukta was there to support you. Now its ur turn to become her support. See you are my best friend, hence it was my duty to guide you once, rest is upon you."
These words of Parth were continously echoing in my brain.
Am I being wrong? Is my reason not valid? Am I making unreasonably wrong decisions?? I don't know. Sanyu !! The only qords that escaped my mouth during such troubles. Had u been here I would have been able to make a decision, a correct decision. Ahh! Silly me , had Sanyu been here then this situation would have not arised in first place.
Thinking subconciously I raised my head to find me outside her room. I peeped in no one was inside, n my angel was sleeping. If I go in now, nobody will come to know about it. With these thoughts I entered the room.
INSIDE SANYUKTA'S ROOM
Sanyukta was covered with bandages, pipes, machines. I broke down again looking her condition.
I am sorry... a tear drop fell from his eyes. I am responsible for ur condition. Had I not forced u to board that plane, u would have nit hat landed here, in this condition.
I held her hand softly, such a fragile girl, I was holding as if it was a dragon-fly's wing, a little pressure n wings will be broken.
I promised to keep u safe, provide u with all world's happiness n pleasures, but look now what I landed u in. U know Papa asked me to divorce you, so that u get a correct life-partner. He is also right I'm not a perfect match. He wants you to get married to Sameer post-divorce. Huh !! That Sameer jisse bhaag k tumne mujhse shaadi ki. U remember his face when he knew that u married me.
FLASHBACK
MARRIAGE DAY
"Rd I don't want to marry that stupid idiot."
"I know jaan n believe me I'm not letting that champu marry you."
"But what will we do?"
"Dad is going to talk to kishore uncle one last time."
Mr. Agarwal was busy in preparations of marriage of their only daughter, Princess of Agarwal Mansion. He suddenly turned around to find Vd standing behind him.
Kishore-"vd ! Nice you came early, now plz help me in all these preparations. Ye sab meri akele ke buss ka nhi hai"
Vd(smiling)-"kishore I have always been there to help u, to show you a correct path when you are going wrong. Today also I'm here to show you the correct way"
Kishore(with a frown)-"Vd not again...(he showed his hand) today is my daughter's wedding n I don't want any scene. You have been invited as you are my old friend, so please bless my daughter as urs"
Vd-"yes kishore Sanyukta is like my daughter n so I want to make her my daughter permanently. Plz accept Rd as ur son-in-law n stop this marriage."
Kishore-"vardhan u too know that this cannot happen. Agar ye baat pehle boli hoti toh shayad aaj tum aur main samdhi hote..."
Vd-"yes situation could have been different, if u would have informed me about Sanyukta's engagement. Kishore when u called the groom to meet Sanyu that time Rd was out of India. N moreover u did the engagement on same day, leaving us with no time. U did not even listen or asked Sanyu if she loved anyone."
Kishore-"what do u mean vardhan? All this is my mistake?"
Vd-"yes kishore its ur mistake. U should have given Sanyukta a chance to speak. As soon as Rd got to know about her engagement he told me n Maya whole truth about their relation. I came to talk to you about it, not once but many times, with hopes that you will understand but u always disappointed me. Today also I'm here with same hope. Plz Kishore stop this marriage or our kids life will get ruined."
Kishore-"listen Vd, just because u are my best friend that I am letting u stand here n talk, otherwise abi tak toh main tumhe dhakka de ke nikal deta "
Vd-"what is wrong with u kishore? Kishore yaad kar when me, Maya n Rd came to u with the fact. But tumne mana kar diya n why just because Sanyukta had already got engaged. Kishore u could have called off the engagement easily"
Kishore-"Vd u also know Main aisa nhi kar sakta. Meri beti ki shaadi tutti toh meri naak kat jaati... My respect would have been finished. N u know for me, my respect is everything..."
Vd-"yes for u ur respect is everything n so is for Sanyukta hence she told u about Rd at right time but u were adament."
Kishore-" I will not let anybody harm my respect not even my own daughter"
Vd-"till now I adviced Rd n Sanyukta to take everyone's blessing n then get married but now I wilp not stop them from taking any drastic step. Coz till now it was matter of ur respect but now I see its not respect but it is ur Ego that has made u so blind that u cannot see ur daughter's happiness"
Saying so Vd went away, Sanyukta who was watching all this from her room wiped her lone tear.
S(in mind)-"bus papa no more. I promised to protect ur self respect but not ur ego. Now I will marry Rd or I will die"
AT RD'S HOUSE
Rd was walking to and fro anxiously. He saw Vd entering the home.
Rd-"papa what dis kishore uncle said?"
Vd-"beta now the time has come go get ur love."
Rd-"but kishore uncle??"
Vd-"U are going to marry Sanyukta not Kishore"
Rd-"but maa said that it will be wrong"
Maya-"it would have been wrong if we had not tried to convince kishore bhaisahab... now its right." Just then his cell rang with a text flashing, 'JAAN'
'Maa kehti hai ki rukmani( wife of lord Krishna) haran mei Krishan galat nhi the kyuki unhe Rukmani ne bulaya tha. Vo koi ladki ko bhagana nhi uske pyaar ki respect thi. Aaj ek baar phir Rukmani ne Krishna ko bulaya hai... umeed hai krishna ek baar phir Rukmani ki pyaar ki izzat rakh ke usse lene aayega. Main sajoongi, khoob sajoongi, dulhan bhi banugi par kisi aur ki nhi sirf apne Rd ki warna jaan de dungi. Will be waiting for u till last ritual...'
Maya-"go Rd get ur bride. I will keep aarti ready for welcome of my daughter."
Rd touched Vd n Maya's feet n rushed out with his bike.
