Chapter 10
Her nose flared up in anger as after the match, all the girls throw themselves on him, kissing & hugging him. St. Louise has won the match and entered the finales. But more than happiness, she was feeling angry at those girls who were trying to get close to the winning captain i.e her Rey.
After getting rid of the girls, Rey moved toward her who was standing there in a corner, silently. Her anger went on another level when she saw his face covered with lipstick marks.
"What happened, taani? Won't you congratulate me?" Completely unaware about the fire of jealousy ignited with in her, he asked her.
"Congratulate karne ke liye jagah kaha." Taani mumbled, pointing at his face which was covered his lipstick marks given by his fan-girls. Rey bit his lower lip, cursing himself and the girl who are responsible for this.
"Damn! for the first time i'm cursing myself for being so popular in school. But it's good to see my lady love getting jealous." Rey thought to himself, his lips twitched in a lopsided smile.
"Jagah hai na, exclusively reserved for you-" Rey smirked as he spoke, her brows knitted in confusion. Rey took a step close to her, making her heart beat faster. Her eyes widen when he leaned forward, leaving an inch space between their lips. Her stomach churned in anticipation. She knew about what he was talking, it made her heart flutter.
"What are you doing?" She cursed herself for stammering, but couldn't help, his close proximity was driving her crazy, blocking her mind to think about anything else than him. Rey smiled softly at her and step back, sensing her nervousness.
"Here, wipe all the marks." Taani said to him as she handed him her handkerchief, Rey bit inside of his cheek to hide the smile that was forming up on his lips. Her jealousy made him sure of her feelings, wanting him to confess his feelings to her as soon as possible.
Not wanting to give her another reason to get angry, he quickly wiped his face, removing all the marks of lipstick.
"Better?"
"Yes." Taani mumbled back with a small smile.
"I want to talk to you, Come with me." Rey whispered softly, he held her and took her away from there, ignoring all the students who badly wanted to meet him after the win. All that didn't mattered to him, he just wanted few minutes with his lady love and confess it to her, tell her how much he loves her.
