Chapter 2 : First Day

New sunshine morning overpowered darkest night.

Malhotra Villa

In the master bedroom young malhotra was sleeping carefree want to forget all unwanted things which were happening in past few days but things which had powerful impact on future are unforgettable.

He came late at night to his room saw her sleeping on couch near bed of his room. His previous encounter with her nd all things which he decided after going out to stuck on that restrained him from thinking more about her nd he slept on bed after tossing trying to forget everything.

As he was sleeping it was a Sunday morning on which he was used to sleep till late but now things had changed. He woke up as was disturbed with noises coming from down the hall. He got up in full mood to throw out the person making noises spooling his sleep.

As he descended stairs voice increased moved towards the direction from where it was coming. He found himself at d front end corner of hall where he hardly been before. He found there his dadu with her nd some of their servants standing before an idol bowing down.

He was about to shout what d hell they spoiled his sleep but was stuck seeing her turning giving everyone some sweets. She was dressed all lyk a newly married in beautiful red salwar suit not that heavy but was pretty nd complimenting her fair complexion while her height which he found cute from first time he saw her.

He turned his face closing his fist reprimanding himself from thinking lyk that remembering what he had decided last night. While he was in his thoughts she stood infront of him nd said "good morning you have to fresh n up first only then i can give you prashad"

Her voice made him look at her as she finished he snapped d next moment rudely "I don't even want it m here to stop this noise which spoiled my sleep"

She was being used to it as from last night she got one thing in her head this marriage is not like other normal marriage. While as he listened her greeting in mrng was shocked that he behaved so bad to her yesterday was so rude still she was wishing him good morning, but stopped himself nxt moment to think anything further about her reminding himself why he came here.

His dadu was mad at him how he snapped her back was ready to reprimand him after asking all servants to get back to their work

"This is the way you talk son where are your all manners this is what i taught you to behave nd that to with your wife apologise now this is not your office m not gonna tolerate this in home got it" he was really mad at him d way he behaved though he loved him but never let him do anything which is wrong.

"Dadu you are shouting on me what did i do i was jus.." before he could say further he cut him in middle

"I said apologise" he said sternly

Before anything go out of hands she intrupted "No need dada ji its not his mistake. Its may be his sleep disturbed due to our prayer which irritated him i guess...otherwise he behaves nicely"

Her last words shook him nd he left don't wanna make his grandpa more mad at him but he heard him saying "This is the last time though how irritated he is."

As he disappeared from staircase.

His grandfather turned towards Nandini "Beta m sorry don't know what's wrong with him" but she interrupted in btw

"Apko sorry bolne ki koi jarurat nh dada ji i understand i told uhh naa woh bas nend khrab hone ki wajah se he said that."

"I know beta aap bhut achhe ho agr apko bura bh lagega tb bhi aap kch nhi kahoge itna toh mai apko janta hi hu" he said placing his hand on her head blessing her he continued "i need to tell u something beta" She blinked her eyes nd noded while he continued "I don't know beta i think mjh apko phle hi bta dena chachy tha mne Manik ko jabardasti iss marriage k ly manaya i don't want him to be alone if m not here"

She said instantly looking in his eyes taking his hands in hers "You are not going anywhere" he giggled on her instant reply. They had made a great bond while he was in India he used to spend alot of time with her treating her like his daughter.

"I m sure one day he'll realise that this is the best thing happened to him but he need some time you have to be patience with him just give some time nd see m saying this to you coz i know only you can make him believe in love nd marriage. There were some problems in my son nd daughter n law's marriage they were always arguing on small things which ended on filling divorce but before that they both left this world in plane crash they were going for some imp business meet as they were partners may b this is the reason why he's like that today he has suffered in his past he didn't got normal love of parents which he craved for. I want you to fill that place change his belief which m sure you can nd i will be with you too" he finished nd she has moist eyes listening to him the reason why his husband is soo tough their is so much he's hidding inside him.

"I will try my best dada ji m unhe yakeen dila k rahungi ki love bh hamari life ka imp hissa h i'll fill that space" she smiled amid tears in her eyes

"God bless beta he's very lucky that he got you as his life partner" he blessed her " iss sab meh mai tumhe ek imp baat btana bhul gya their is a party for both of you tonight to welcome you in our life nd completing our family" he smiled nd after telling some more things about party he left only after giving her strict warning not to do any work while she was insisting to prepare something sweet for desert its her first day. He succeeded to convince her that she can make it tmrw while today she need to go somewhere he had booked for her to pamper her in one of the best beauty parlour.

He said this was to be done by your mother in law she's not here so its his duty to make sure all her needs to be fulfilled nd make her comfortable in her in new house. Lastly he informed her that there is a surprise waiting for her in party.

After heartily talk with his daughter in law he moved to his grandson who need some peace of mind too

He entered his room only to find him talking to some client regarding business. He hang up his call soon as he saw his dadu in his room.

"Dadu you should take some rest m very well aware how much you had rested in past days its not at all good for your health if you had some work you should have called me" on one hand he felt he's best grandson took so much care of him but keeping in mind why he came he didn't let his heart melt nd replied showing he's still mad at him

"I know grandson you care for me but m not a kid i can take care of myself" as he said he sensed he's still mad at morning fiasco

"You are still mad at me"he said as he sensed it

"Why should i be mad at you i said you to marry her you married kept my words. If you wanna show your anger you should show it on me she's not at fault. She left her family she's here miles away from them still this is the way how you behave. Its her first day rather making her comfort here you are showing your arrogance. She's like my daughter how much i have known about her she won't say a word even if she's hurt but i can see it nd i won't let her suffer so you better behave nd give her a chance. She's a gem that you'll realise one day" there was silence as he finished

"i forgot for what i came to tell there is a party tonight i have planned it before marriage for you nd my daughter in law everyone is invited this'll b one of the best party of town...be ready nd as i said its for both of you so its anticipated you accompany her tonight show how perfect you both are"

He nodded to what he said while he left informing Nandini is out nd will be ready by evening he need to pick her up nd be at the venue on time.

As he left he was in deep thought recollecting last night their First Night after he went out of room.
