PART - 11:
Sanskaar and swara stood hugging each other and they were disturbed by a call for swara from sujata. Swara and sanskaar broke the hug and swara was about to run down when sanskaar followed her and said her to be calm and careful as she is pregnant now. Swara reached down and does the work which was assigned to her by sujata and also informs her mom sharmista that her pregnancy test was positive. Shomi feels happy and thanks god for bringing some happiness in her daughter's life after so many troubles especially after her father had completely disowned her.
It was 11 and the havan was about to start. The two elder couples Dp - Ap and ram and sujata sat to perform the havan. Dp calls swara and sanskaar to join them. But shomi stops swara and sanskaar and asks the two elderly couples to perform the puja as it was believed that pregnant ladies should not perform havan. Since she can't share the news of swara's pregnancy with everyone without consulting a doctor she keeps on saying the two elder couples to continue with the havan. But after a serious insistence from Sujata shomi tells the truth to everyone that swara just now got to know that she is pregnant but she wanted to share the news with everyone after she it was confirmed with doctor.
All were surprised and happy at the announcement made by shomi. Sujata hugs swara and expresses her happiness. Dp, Rp, adarsh and parineeta congratulate both of them. Laksh and ragini were stunned at the announcement. Same was the case with Annapurna, dadi and shekar. Ap was not whole heartedly happy that swara was pregnant as her son was ruining his married life thinking about her and the girl has moved on completely and is enjoying the marital bliss. Ragini was burning with jealousy. She was desperately trying to get her husbnad's love and make swara's life hell but everything was in swara's favour and is happy in her life. dadi and shekar were also unhappy. They were unable to bear that swara was happy with her husband while their ladoo was still paying for the mistake swara committed. laksh who was in a delusion that swara was still in love with him has come to his senses and realized that she is no more interested in his life and has moved on in her life from him and is very happy in her married life with his brother.
When swara and sanskaar were taking blessings from everyone dadi shekar ragini and laksh moved out of the room. Swara and sanskaar noticed it but did not let that shown on their faces. Finally after few minutes havan was started and it was completed. Dp asked sanskaar to take swara to doctor to get the good news confirmed.
Dadi drags ragini into a room upstairs and confronts her. they both fail to notice that laksh was in the balcony attached to that room.
Dadi: I thought u will give this good news but swara gave us earlier than u.
Rag: so what dadi??
Dadi: don't u know what will happen. Till today no one believed her but still she managed to make a place in this house and made everyone against u, imagine if she gives birth to the heir of this family then the whole family will start loving her more and more. Even though she is wrong no one will think about it anymore and will love her for giving them a heir.
Ragini gets pissed at this argument and turns around and notices laksh standing there. She plans to use this opportunity in her favour and starts talking with tears in her eyes.
Rag: what should I do dadi?? When my husband still can't get over his first love and will never try to accept me and love me then what can I do? I always loved him dadi. Took care of him always stood by him supported him and atlast gave him time to get over his love. Im making every possible move to make him love me but what can I do if he doesn't make any move or is not even ready to try to take our relation a step forward.
Dadi: i understand ladoo. U are trying hard. But see this swara she has left laksh at the mandap and ran away then she married sanskaar and within 3 months she is pregnant. I know she is cheap and a characterless girl u can't trap guys like her but try to make laksh realise ur worth and love.
Rag: I will try it dadi. But im scared of one thing. Today u have asked me this question and I explained it to u and understood me but if mom ask me the same question what will I say?? How can I say her that her son has never accepted me as his wife and we have no relation between us. What will she think of me?? Im sure she will think that im not making any efforts to get closer to laksh and its obvious for her to think so as she is laksh's mother she wont be able to find fault with him and will so accuse me for the distress in our married life. and I don't know how im gonna face all this.
Saying it she will hug dadi and cries. Laksh will be moved seeing her like that and will leave from there and goes out of the house and reaches a nearby park.
Swara and sanskaar leaves to Dr. Anjali dutt's hospital. The doctor collects the blood sample for a blood test and says that the reports will be issued by the next day morning and she will inform the result. Swara and sanskaar thank Anjali and will be on the way to the new house. Sanskaar stops the car at a nearby park and takes her into the park. They both sit on a side bench present there and sanskaar starts talking to swara. They doesn't notice that laksh was sitting near to them and even laksh doesn't know that swara and sanskaar were present beside him as there was a bush in the middle.
San: shona I need to talk something important to u..
Swara nods asking him to continue and laksh on listening to sanskaar's voice pays attention to their conversation.
San: shona u are really happy with this news na. I mean u want this baby right?? I mean u are still studying and I know u wanted to do something big in ur career and amidst all this taking the responsibility of a baby. Are u really prepared for it?? If not then we can..
Even before sanskaar complete the sentence swara places her hand on his mouth stopping him from uttering that word. she smiles at him and says "u know when ever u think so much about me I fall in love with u all over again. Baby I know u are concerned about me and my career but trust me im very happy with this news. I don't know whether im prepared completely or not and u know no girl will be actually prepared to be a mom she will only learn it after she becomes a mom. Even I am no exception. Sanskaar when I realized that I m pregnant only thing that crossed my mind was u. i know how crazy u will become when u will get to know the news and trust me even im so happy as u are. yes I agree I wanted to study make my career but that doesn't mean I don't want this happiness Im sure I can manage both. U are there with me right so I can manage baby and my career together." She cups his face and says "this baby is the symbol of our love our relation which is the best thing that has ever happened to me in my life. I cant let it go at any cost. The whole family is very excited about the news and im sure mom, maa, papa (swara calls RP as papa), and dida will take great care of the baby."
Sanskaar smiles and kisses her on her forehead and says he will always support her and they both leave to house. Laksh who was listening all this has tears flowing thru his eyes. he recollects ragini's words with dadi and now swara's words. The words which swara said about her and sanskaar's relation were ringing in his head. He was completely out of the delusion that swara loved him. their words gave him a clarity that she has moved on from him and can never ever return back to him. He realized that he has no importance in swara's life and decides to think about ragini.
Laksh thought that he was really responsible for the plight in their married life. he felt that it was his decision to marry her and it was his fault for not recognizing her love for him. he felt that he was really stupid to believe that swara loved him when she has actually moved on in her life. he hated himself for not recognizing how characterless swara was who just played with his emotions and left him and married and settled with his brother. After a lot of thinking he decided to take his relation with ragini to next level and show swara and sanskaar that even he was happily married.
It was evening and everyone were ready for the party. Swara wore red netted saree with a black banaras border and a black velvet blouse with long netted sleeves. She just wore a diamond necklace which was gifted by her husband on their first karvachauth. She was looking angelic. She left her hair loose and minimal makeup and red gloss on her lips made her look just awesome. sanskaar was also in a matching outfit with black kurta-pyjama and red coat over it completely matching his wife.
Sanskaar and swara came downstairs hand in hand and all the family members in the hall were happy seeing them. Though laksh ragini and Annapurna were not much happy with the good news of the couple they couldnot even express their unhappiness. Dadi and shekhar were also in the same situation as of laksh and ragini.
Dp, Ap stood at the entrance welcoming the guests and RP and Sujata were talking with them describing the house and were making sure that all the guests got the soft drinks and snacks arranged for the party. Adarsh, parineeta, laksh and ragini were even giving company to the guests and sanskaar was busy with his business mates and friends and introducing them to his wife. Ragini was ignoring laksh in the party as she was now aware that he wanted to mend their relation and move on but she thought to give him a tough time and make him run behind her so that he will understand how much he hurt her. she was just doing all this to make sure that she gets more attention and sympathy from him and he completely accepts her.
Swara was always under constant observation of sanskaar, sujata, sharmista, adasrh and parineeta. Since the news about her pregnancy broke and she was back from hospital she was not allowed to do any work and all of them took care of her so that she only rested and did no work at all. She was not even allowed to walk fastly and was reminded by everyone that she needs to be careful while walking and especially while climbing the stairs up and down.
Swara was really pissed with the attention she was getting from everyone. she was not used to it and all of a sudden this was really making her uncomfortable. Finally when all were busy talking with guests and no one were noticing her she moved towards the glass door which opens into a garden on the back side of the house. She just stood their feeling the fresh air and was trying to take deep breathes as she was feeling suffocated in the hall which was filled with guests. She never felt like that and probably this was a symptom of pregnancy she thought. When she was standing there and shekhar came to her. she looked at him with a lot of love and expecting him to bless her for a new beginning of her life. but all she could see was hatred for her in his eyes. when she was trying to avoid looking in his eyes he slowly asked her whether she was ashamed to look into his eyes.? this question made her look straight into his eyes with shock and confusion. Even before she could say anything he said he hated her for what she is and what she is doing with ragini. he said she can never be happy in her life after snatching her sister's happiness who is living a love less life with her husband because of her fault. He openly told her that he was ashamed of her and her actions and would never accept her as his daughter. Saying this he went away and tears started flowing thru swara's eyes. she slowly wiped them as she was very well aware of his feelings towards her already. Sharmista who came to check on swara witnessed the convo between the father and daughter duo.
The party was awesome. everyone praised the house the arrangements the food and especially sanskaar's efforts and hard work in running the business successfully in such a young age. They all even admired the couple who were complimenting each other in every sense as everyone were well aware about the idea of swara to help the rural poor in getting the health services. Everyone retired back to maheshwari mansion and went to their respective rooms.
Swara and sanskaar dozed off to sleep in each others arms quickly as they were really tired due to a pleasant and eventful day.
Finally laksh confronted ragini for her behavior since evening and she explained him that she was wantedly avoiding him so that everyone would feel that their married life was in trouble and would not have any expectations from them to have a family as soon as possible. Laksh asked ragini for an apology and explained her that he was accepting their relation truly and wanted to move ahead in his life along with her as his wife. so finally they consummate their marriage.
Next morning:
Swasan room: morning 7am
Swara was sleeping peacefully and she searched for sanskaar with her hand stretched on the other side of the bed and when she couldnot find him she slowly opened her eyes and saw him missing. Then she took a look at the alarm clock and it was 7 already and she sat up on the bed. When she was rubbing her eyes and trying to get a clear vision of the room she sees sanskaar entering with a tray containing tea for them. She smiles looking at him and he responds back. He keeps it on the table infront of the couch and asks her to freshen up. She was impressed by him and gets up and goes to hug him tightly saying "I love u".sanskaar replies to her with an "I love u too" and kisses her forehead. By the time she comes out of the washroom he cleans the bed and sets everything right. She smiles at him and he asks for another hug for the work he has done. She smiles at him and gives a peck on his cheek and grabs her tea cup. They just complete the tea and before swara could even keep the tea cup back on the table there was a knock on their door. Swara opens the door. Seeing the person infront of her swara just rolls her eyes and stands still with her hands folded across her chest. It was ragini who was standing infront of her with a wide smile and her hair left freely which was dripping with water drops.
Rag: shocked?? Seeing me here??
Sanskaar listens to the voice and understands that it was ragini and sits back sipping the tea and paying attention to the conversation for which she came there.
Swa: so what do u wanna say??
Rag: ok I just came here to say that u have lost the battle swara bose. U were on a mission to expose me and separate me and laksh. But now u cant do that. Because I and laksh are husband and wife in every sense. I mean in every sense. (she says it with a victorious smile) so now u cant seperate us. I know it may be shocking to u but we are one now and I just came here to say that all ur efforts are futile.
Swara smiles at her. this irritates ragini and asks her why she was smiling?
Swa: let me clear one thing. Im no more swara bose. Im swara sanskaar maheshwari. So please remember this for the next time. And most important thing I don't care what u and ur husband do with each other. So stop thinking that u have any importance in my life. u and ur husband mean nothing to me. So please concentrate on ur life rather than updating about it to me.
Saying this swara shows her the way to go. Ragini was obviously not expecting such a reply from her and was shocked by it and moves away fuming. Swara closes the door and goes to get ready to reach hospital on time.
When swara was bathing sanskaar was working something on his lappy and his phone rings and it was a call from Dr. Anjali. He picks up the call.
San: hi Anjali so whats the result??
Anj: is swara around??
San: no she is in shower.
Anj: im sorry sanskaar. But the blood reports are negative.
San: what?? (shocked and upset)
Anj: yes sanskaar. Swara is not pregnant.
San: then all those symptoms? And even the pregnancy test kit result was positive.
Anj: yes regarding that I need to speak to u, sujata and sharmista aunty. So only u 3 come to hospital and its really important.
San: any problem??
Anj: not a big one. But u need to know some more things and so please come as early as possible.
Sanskaar was deeply upset that their happiness did not last long. Though they were unsure of the news still they started to dream for their baby. More than for himself he was worried for swara who was really happy after a long time and will now be back to that calm zone again. He knew as soon as she gets the news she will be back to that self blaming mode of spoiling everyone's happiness and crashing his dreams and all other stuff. He did not understand how he needs to explain her that he was ok with the result and expected even that can be a probability of the test.
Even before swara comes out of the shower sanskaar informs his mom about the result of the blood test and consoles her who was little upset. He asks her to share the news with rest of the family and make them understand the issue and not to taunt or say something that might hurt swara. Though sujata was upset with the news she understood that no one can be blamed for it. She shared the news with the rest of the family and everyone too accepted the result and decided to support the couple who were affected more with this news. Ragini laksh and AP were some where happy with the news that swara was not pregnant. Ragini within no time called and informed her dadi and shekar who too were happy at the news. Though shekar was not completely happy he felt that swara got the punishment for what she did with ragini.
Sanskaar even called sharmishta and shared the news with her and also said her to come to the hospital by 11am. He even informed sujata too about the visit to hospital and asked it to keep it secretive.
After swara came out of the shower he slowly moved towards her and made her sit on the bed and kneeled infront of her and broke the news that she was not pregnant and the test result was negative. He can see the calmness in her face and tears filling up. The feeling of guilt was evident on her face and he slowly talked to her and made her understand that the news of this pregnancy was unexpected and even they were unsure about it and it turned in a way that was unexpected to them. He clearly explained her that they were just married for 3 months and can plan for a family little later and she need not worry for it. He also explains that none of the family members were disappointed at this news as they all were unsure of the news.
Swara was really amazed and touched at the way he managed everything. The way he informed the family before and explaining them and then taking the strength and support from them and explaining her and handling her. she just leaned forward and hugged him and thanked god silently for sending him into her life. she was upset with the news but she felt that she needed to overcome it and move ahead from it atleast for the efforts he was putting in to make her happy. She promised herself that she would be strong and would move ahead in her life and become his support system. They both got down after a while and the whole family gave moral support to swara and said that it was quiet ok and sometimes such things happen and no one is to be blamed for it. After breakfast sanskaar drops her at the college.
After sanskaar drops her at the college he picks his mom and reaches hospital and all the three sanskaar sujata and sharmista enters anjali's cabin.
Suj: so swara is not pregnant but how can she have all the symptoms??
Shom: even the primary pregnancy test was positive??
Sans: Anjali did u check it properly or shall we have another test a scan or something??
Anj: I will answer all ur questions but please listen to me carefully. Did u notice any change in swara's behavior recently??
Sanskaar then says yes and explains everything that has happened from the day of sindhoor khela. Since Anjali know everything about swara and her life events it was easy for her to understand swara's state of mind.
Anj: I get it now this is her problem.
Suja: what??
Anj: stress and depression. (everyone will be shocked) Swara is taking a lot of stress upon her. we all know she wants to unite her parents and that is really taking a lot of stress on her. and probably the taunts ragini throw at her and day to day issues which are created by ragini are seriously taking a toll on her health. This was really ok for swara and she could bear that as she is a strong girl but she is sensitive to certain things in her life like her love for her father. She always craved for it and recently when she has seen that her father disowned her and hates her she was unable to tolerate it and she started to feel as a loser and is depressed. Since she was unable to get the truth out she is very much disturbed and depressed. She even know that u people will never allow her to think more about it that is why she has hidden all these things and pain from u people too.
Because of this stress there is a hormonal imbalance in the body which led to these false symptoms of pregnancy. This is termed as bio-chemical pregnancy where the body due to someother reasons will anticipate in pregnancy and release those hormones which will result in these symptoms. The reasons for such a condition can be many like stress, extreme want of pregnancy other psychological disturbances and many more. Swara's stress and depression is the reason for her to show symptoms of this biochemical pregnancy. Though there is nothing to worry about it but u need to think seriously about her depression issues. If this continues she will be depressed more and then it will be very dangerous. If this feeling of being a loser and being hated by all especially her father continues she might even develop suicidal tendencies too.
Listening to all this all the three people in front of the doctor were shocked. Shomi has tears flowing from her eyes. and sujata too was in same position.
Suj: don't we have any treatment for it??
Anj: swara is in the initial stages of depression so even counseling can have a good effect on her. That should be given by the family members indirectly especially sanskaar and u shomi aunty because u are the only people whom swara loves, obeys and believes the most. Just change her surroundings and make her more and more happy and spend more time with her she will be become normal as soon as possible. Firstly she needs to get out of this loser attitude. She is feeling as a loser as she is unable to get ragini's truth out if that is handled then the depression issues can be handled easily after that.
Sanskaar starts thinking deeply about the words of Anjali. Sharmista sujata sanskaar goes to their newly built house and even call rp and dida there to discuss about swara.
Precap:
Sharmista takes promise from swara that she will stop all her efforts to unite her and shekar.
Ram Prasad and family move out of maheshwari mansion.
i know u all were happy that swara was pregnant but this sudden twist might have hurt u. but this was needed for the next parts of the story..
