As decided Raman and Ishita were meeting next day, but due to some urgent work, he called her in his office. ISHRA PHONE CONVERSATION Raman - Ishita We are meeting in an hour Ishita - Hmm Raman - Can you come to my office? I have some important work. I will wind it up in an hour. After that We will leave together. Ishita - Your office. Okay Raman - Bye An hour later Ishita was sitting in her car. Ishita (self talk) - Raman's
office. But where is it. God I forgot to take its address. Let me call him.
But he might be busy in his meeting. Let me wait for his call. Till then ... Few minutes later her phone buzzed. Raman - Ishita where are you. Ishita - Ice cream kha rahi hoon Raman - What Ishita. I am waiting for you and you are enjoying ice cream. Ishita - Raman! Its yummy. You also come Raman smiled - Ishita you were supposed to come here. Ishita - I know Raman. But I can't even if I want to. Raman ( confused) - Why Ishita - Because I don't have your office address. Simple Raman smiled - But then you could have called me. Remember now you have my no. in your speed dial. Ishita - I know. But I thought you might be busy. Then I saw this parlor. I am eating my third cup. First I had chocolate, then butter scotch and now black current. Raman shook his head amusingly. Raman - Ok .. Jaan Where are you. Ishita - Havmor near my clinic Raman - Okay . I am coming. Don't have much ice cream. On reaching there, he saw her
sitting in the corner of parlor busy in relishing her ice cream like a small
child, completely unaffected from her outside world. Ishita - Come Raman. Have it Raman - Ishita You are still having. Enough now. You will get sick. He took her cup and took a small scoop from it. Raman - Hmm. Yum Ishita - Raman that's mine. You order for yourself. Raman - What mine? It's ours. My everything is yours and yours everything is mine. He winked and feed her a spoon from the cup.
She took it shyly. Raman - Don't do this jaan. We are in public. It's difficult for me to control. Ishita - Please Raman . Let's go They left after settling the bill. BOUTIQUE Raman - So Madam. Let's select my outfit first. I know yours will need time. You girls.. Ishita - Raman please! We take time because we have options unlike you boys. Raman - Okay okay .. I don't want to argue on this. Help me select mine. They selected his outfit first and then moved to girl section. Raman - You selected mine. Now I will choose one for you. Ishita - Ok.. Raman refused many dresses. His eyes caught attention of a dress on display. Raman - This is beautiful. Ishita try this. She took it and saw its price tag. It cost 35,000. Ishita - Not this .. It's too expensive. Raman - So what. You are soon becoming Raman kumar Bhalla' s wife. I will pay Ishita politely - Off course Raman. But not this. I can't afford this. We will buy something else. Raman made an angry face and turned his face. Ishita smiled Ishita - Raman. I know you want me to wear this. And I know you can afford this for me. But Raman I am sorry I won't be able to accept it. We are not married yet. Also Raman I will wear it once and then keep it. Why to waste this much money. We can give this money to those who need it. Please understand Raman Raman looked at her and hugged her. Raman - Why are you like this? Fine we will buy something less expensive. Ishita smiled They finally selected their respective outfits, next moved to jewelers shop and selected subtle yet stylish rings for each other. By then Ishita was tired of full day exertion. First clinic in morning then this shopping, she was exhausted. IN THE CAR Raman - Ishita Ishita -Hmm.. She was replying with closed eyes, resting her head on the seat. Raman - Are you sleepy. Eat something and then sleep.
Raman - Ishita. She didn't replied this time and slept in his car. He drove to her house, scooped her in his arms and entered her flat after taking keys from her bag. He carefully placed her on bed and went outside to prepare something for her. Few minutes later he walked in with vegetable sandwich. He shook her slightly, sat beside her and caressed her hairs. Raman - Ishita Have something and then sleep Ishita moved slightly but slept back again. He smiled at her antics. Raman tried again - Bacha. Please have something. You didn't eat anything from afternoon. As he was caressing her hairs, she cuddled more to him, hid herself in his chest. Raman - Ishita be a good girl. See I have made sandwich for you. Open your mouth. I will feed you, just chew it. It's not good to sleep empty stomach. Ishita half opened her eyes, looked at sandwich then at him. Raman - Open your mouth jaan Ishita took a bite and again rested her head on his chest. Raman smiled - Ishita chew it. Don't sleep again Ishita - Hmm This way it took half an hour for
him to feed her one sandwich.
But he enjoyed it. She was his child, innocent pure inside out. She was simple, straight, open and transparent. He smiled looking at her sleeping
like a small child in his arms. He kissed her forehead and tucked a strand of
hair behind her ears. He stayed in that position for sometime then removed
her earrings and watch. He tucked her properly in bed and returned back
interlocking her home. Finally that day came. Raman and Ishita were two happy souls, who were on cloud nine. Engagement was taking on a small scale with a grand wedding and reception ahead. Only few close family friends and some business friends of Raman were invited. Ishita was looking breathe taking
in minimal make up and simple jewellery. While Raman was not less. He was
looking handsome in sherwani. There was a small pooja before engagement, after which panditji gave them rings.
Soon they exchanged rings. Ceremony went well. They were standing in the center of hall while all guests were blessing them one by one. Sometime later all were lost in lunch and Raman thinking it to be a right opportunity dragged her out of hall. Ishita - Raman What are you doing. Where are you taking me? Raman - Sshh just keep quiet Ishita - Raman Raman - Keep quiet He brought her to a room. Raman -Hold on your breathe. It was a room beautifully decorated with balloons, candles and rose petals were scattered all over the floor. Ishita - Raman yeh Raman - Come inside. Ishita - Raman He kept his finger on her mouth. Next he went on his knees.
Raman - I honestly feel like the luckiest guy for having somebody like you walk into my life. I just wanna hold you in my arms throughout my life. You're my best friend, my other half, my heart, and my soul. You are my world. You are my best friend, the one person I can't imagine living without, I don't even like thinking about it, the absolute love of my life. I want you to be my wife. Will you make me the happiest man in the world? So Dr Ishita Iyer Will you marry me? Ishita looked at him teary eyes. Raman - Ishita say something. My knees are hurting. Ishita nodded her head - Yes She makes him stand and hugged him. Ishita - Thank you Raman. You always make me feel special. I love you. Raman hugged her back. Ishita - Raman you are proposing
me after our engagement. Raman - So what. I know your answer. See This is called confidence. Ishita - What if I would have denied Raman - Then I would have make you say yes Ishita - How Raman - Actions speak better than words.
