Maan rushes out of the restaurant while Geet and his parents follow him.

M-Mom Dad here is the key, please sit in the car I will be there in 5 minutes

He gives the car keys to his parents as they walk towards the car

Maanl grabs Geet's elbow and drags him towards a secluded canopy

M-What were you doing??? Huh? Kya kar rahi thi tum ye huh?

Geet looked at him with guilt and surprise...she hasn't seen him so angry ever...his eyes were blazing with anger

M-I don't believe this...you ruined it...you ruined it all...ek kaam ...ek kaam diya tha tumhe aaj...just ek...you can't pass even a day without blunders...I was a fool...a DAMN BLOODY FOOL!

Geet shuts her eyes out of fear as he yells

M-Mom was right...she was so right...how can you ever adjust in my society...among us...but I...No...but no...I was not wrong...you are wrong...you are wrong for this! It's not about society...it's not about class...a middle class woman is far better than you...you are not a middle class woman...you are a blind disabled woman...charity case...that's what you are! You are an illiterate unsophisticated absent minded idiotic fool; who has the attention span of fly. Bird brain woman, who doesn't want to learn ... doesn't want to get better... doesn't want to improve her class... you are just a stupid fool ...

Geet looks down as his words pinches her heart

M-You are not a normal person who could have a normal life date...get married and stuff...or yes...or have a regular job...you people are only burden to society...either you could beg on a street or weave... weave your damn baskets...I was a fool...may be I was too kind...I saw a disabled woman and bamm...now I realise...what you are...you couldn't even hold yourself together in front of my parents...how will you present yourself in future? How? You don't even know how to conduct yourself in a womanly manner...ohhh ...how will you...pitiful creatures don't get married right...or do they? Ohh they do...they do get married but to people like you only, not to normal people...you know why...coz you don't fit! You don't fit with normal people like us...your sister...your mom is proud of her...but you...she would always have support you...always... forever...and I being a fool... wanted you in my life...you couldn't even learnt things for my sake...how could you conduct your life...I want a strong independent woman in my life...I don't want a disabled charity case with me...go to your blind school and play your violin...or do whatever things you guys do...don't show me your face ever! Geet is looking down...

She just croaks...out of her choked throat

Maan just turns and goes towards his car, while Geet remains standing there

Geet enters her home as her mother opens the door

To her mother's utter surprise Geet runs straight onto her room and shuts the door

The emotions, pain, tears, lose that she was controlling till now burst out in form of tears

She wailing like a kid holding the poems Maan had gifted her to her heart

She cries for hours and dozes of breathless and exhausted

Next morning Geet wakes up as her mother bangs on her door

G-Haan mumma ...uth rahi hoon

She grumbles and opens her eyes

She squints...unable to understands what's happening...it's all hazy...she can't see anything...it's all blurred...

She screams ...Mummmaaa!!!!

Was she blind again?

Maan was very harsh to Geet his words were cutting deep into her

I'm just wondering if he will regret his words once his temper is cooled off

but I also blame Geet that she has not made any effort to start living a life

like other people do she should have started with some education and start learning

words with her eyes yes true she knows everything by fingers .

Geet was excited seeing the lights in the garden and this fact Maan should have understand

but addressing his parents as uncle and aunty well she should have first asked him how

she must address them secondly he too is at fault he should also let her know

than the fact that she could not eat with cutlery she should have told Maan softly

I believe whether a girl is rich or poor or even working class she has to maintain

lady like gestures and for this I blame Geet's mother as now she should have taught her

Maan is such a moron.. The level of humiliation her throw at geet is ridiculous... Grrr he is going to regret it yaar... Hope he pay heavily fr hurting geet.. Scared fr geet.. Hope she don't loose her vision..

I never expect maan will behave so harsh with geet... What he think of himself that he is giving charity to geet by marrying her...

I expect Geet to be strong and prove him that she wont be a charity case... Maan needs to beg geet again if he wants to marry...

the morning geet woke up and screaming thinking that she became blind again is scarring me...
