Chapter 5

The sun rays peeped inside the room through a thin curtain, it falls on Raman's face, he stirred in sleep and moved his head opposite side, he twitched his eyes and slowly opened his eyes to and the first thing he saw - was his beautiful wife. Raman nuzzled a sleeping Ishita lovingly and she stirred feeling his nose on her nape and his hand tightly holding her against her chest. She tilted her head to meet him and he moved a stray lock of hair from her face and tucked it behind her ear. They gazed each other with passion and then claimed each other's lips for a long kiss which last for a day.

"Good morning Madrasan." Raman whispered breaking their kiss and nibbled her ear lobe.

"Good morning." she smiled.

"How are you feeling?" he asked.

"Good, but little sore." she said honestly with a blush.

"I love you." he said and placed a kiss on her forehead, she smiled.

"Okay!! Now stop romancing. Let me get up."she said while pushing him a little bit he pulled her again.

"No, stay here." he said and leaned closer for another kiss but s he put her finger on his lip saying, "Not now Raman!! What will mummyji think? See the time... Get up!!"

She could see his face dropped so she kissed on his cheeks saying, "Get up baby."

She then woke up while wrapping the blanket around her naked body, Raman asked, "Can I help you in change?" She blushed and nodded no!! Raman smiled.

As Ishita walked in washroom, Raman changed into his dress and walked out on living room, where everyone present, "Hey bhai arrived." Raman could hear his sisters started gossiping, he once looked at them who simply turned their faces, then Raman took a sit and take the newspaper from the table saying, "Maa!! Give me a cup of tea, please."

"Yes!! Where is Ishita?" She asked.

"She is taking bath." Raman replied, Toshi jee took leave from there when Simmi and Rinki stated giggling seeing Raman, but he ignored them. But they were continuously giggling, "I think someone's night went so awesome. Isn't Simmi di?" Rinki indirectly teased Raman.

"Yes Rinki and that is completely visible." Simmi chuckled.

After taking bath, Ishita walked out wearing a yellow saree, still she didn't put any make up, her hair was wet. Raman once looked at her and he completely lost in her, she blushed and went to kitchen where Toshiji asked her to give the tea to Raman.

She came to them to give the yes when her eyes fall on his neck where, there were some vermilion mark, her eyes popped out.

"Bhabhi..." Rinki caked her in a teasing way and winked, she smiled embarrassed.

Ishita signaled Raman to wipe the mark but he could not able to understand. "Arey Madrasan!! Speak out yaar." Ishita gave him deadly glare but managed her look as the sisters were there.

"I think, I know what bhabhi is trying to say." Rinki said when Ishita looked down while rubbing her forehead.

"Bhai, give me your phone." Rinki said.

"Why!!" He did irritated.

"Give it to me." she said and snatched the phone from his hand and then said, "Now look at that side." she made him face another side and clicked the photo, "Now see!! What bhabhi was trying to say."

She handed him the photo, as soon as he saw her covered the place with his palm and looked at Ishita who was giving him dangerous glare. Rinki and Simmi laughed, Raman too smiled but managed his stern look, "Stop laughing." and he went from there.

"I.. I.. I forgot something inside." Ishita stammered and excuses from there.

Raman walked in and cleaned the vermilion, standing near the mirror, Ishita barged in and stood behind him putting her hand on her hip, he flicked his eyes to ask 'What'.

"You are so shameless Raman. How can you go like this!!" She bursts.

"How can I know, there would be your love mark?" he smirked.

"You should check yourself first."

"Okay!! I am sorry. I promise, I will check myself from next time." he winked.

Just then Raman's phone rang, he went to receive the call whereas Ishita went to get ready, she put the ear ring, bangles and looked at Raman through the mirror who was busy in phone.

"Okay! I am coming." Saying this Raman hang up the call and he came to her and hugged her from behind slipping his hand in her exposed stomach and pulling her towards him and he rested his face on her shoulder and they gazed each other in mirror.

"Ishita, you look beautiful even in this yellow saree. I like you to see in saree more than the western outfit." He whispered while nuzzling her neck.

"But, it's quiet difficult to handle and I feel comfortable in western dress." she said and Raman nodded smiling.

"Put this." she turned and holds a vermilion container in front of him. He lovingly took a pinch of vermilion and placed it on her partition and then he cupped her face and kissed on her forehead.

"Listen, bring my suit out cupboard." Raman said.

"Are you going office today?" she asked.

"Yes. Actually, suddenly some clients are coming. But I will come within an hour." she smiled.

After taking shower, Raman walked out from washroom and found a suit was lying on bed, he smiled and changed. Ishita walked in with his breakfast.

"Raman have your breakfast."

"Ishita I am getting late, will do it in office." Raman said while checking some file.

"No. You do your work, I will fed you." He looked at her and smiled when she fed him then tied the tie and then made him wear the suit.

"Thank you."

"Come soon." she smiled, he placed a kiss on her forehead and took leave from there.

As Raman left for office, Ishita involved herself in household works, though Toshi jee asked her to take rest but she insisted and helped her. Ishita was making some fish when her phone rang, "Puttar, your phone is ringing. Go!!"

Ishita went near the dining table where she kept the phone, it was from her hospital, "Yes!! Dr.Ishita speaking."

"Okay. I am coming." she informed worriedly.

"What happen!!" Toshi jee asked.

"Ma!! I have an emergency, I have to go... Can I?" She asked for permission.

"Of-course, don't need to seek permission." Ishita smiled and took leave from there.

Raman came back to home in evening and searched for Ishita, he spotted Rinki at hall, so asked, "Where is that Madrasan?"

"I don't know." she replied.

"Where did she gone?" he thought and dialed her number but she didn't receive the call.

"What happen puttar? You look worried!!" Toshi jee asked.

"Where is Ishita?"

"She had an emergency call, so left for hospital." she informed.

"Okay." saying this Raman took leave from there.

At hospital

Ishita walked in her cabin and spotted him sitting on chair, "Raman you?"

Raman looked at her, "When did you come?"

"Why didn't you inform me that you are in hospital." he asked sarcastically.

"Raman!!"

"What?"

She took the next sit and asked, "Someone looks angry on me!!" Raman turned his gaze from her.

"Raman actually I got an emergency call and I rushed in hurry that got busy in operation so didn't get time to inform you. I am sorry." she said holding her ears.

"Please pardon me!!" As he saw her innocent face he melted but still remain angry and said, "Okay. But in one condition."

"What?"

He pulled her making her sit on her lap and said, "On night..." Ishita blushed.

"Hayee!! I will die one day." He said and hit his forehead with her.

They heard a knock on for, Ishita composed herself and said, "Come in."

A man walked in and asked, "Doctor there isn't any complication in her delivery. My wife and baby both are fine no!!"

"Yes. They are fine, please don't worry. You will see them once they settle down in the ward." Ishita said smiling.

"Thank you doctor. Today you saved my family."

"It's my duty."

The Maan took leave, Raman asked, "What happen? Is everything alright?"

"Yes. Actually, one of my patient was overdue for a week and finally today she was in labor so went to attend her." she said.

"Oh! So is that a boy or girl?" he asked exited.

"A prince charming like you." she said pulling him towards her, Raman naughtily smiled when she blushed.

"Can I ask you something, Doctor. Ishita?"

"Anything."

"Can you show me how a baby comes out! I mean baby's first cry, first smile... Everything." Raman said.

"Sure! Let me bring my laptop, I'll show a video in you tube." she said.

"No! I want to see in live."

"Sorry! It's not possible. " she apologized to him.

"Oh! That's okay." he said but couldn't hide his disappointment.

"But I will try." saying this she cheered him up.

"Okay."

"Now shall we go home?" she asked and dragged him out from hospital.

Raman and Ishita reached at home and directly walked in there room, Raman lied on the bed, Ishita glared at him.

"Raman drop your shoes down and then get on the bed." she ordered but he was not in mood to hear her, "Raman I am talking with you. Don't you know there's so much germs on your shoes."

"Oho!! My typical doctor." he said pissed and dropped his shoes down.

"Don't call me doctor. I am your wife." she said with a post.

"Yes! But now you are behaving like a doctor."

She rolled her eyes and was going to leave when he held her hand and pulled, she fall on him, "Raman what are you doing? Door is opened."

"Let it be. You know today I missed you like hell."

"Awww!! Even I missed you too." she said while giving him a kiss on his cheek.

"By the way, how was your day? How was your meeting gone!!"

"Umm!! It was good. I hope, I will get the contract. "

"Hmm!! Now get up." she said while getting up from his grip and left the room.

They had their dinner together, they chatted, teased each other, Ishita felt so happy. After having dinner, they went in their respective rooms. At night, Ishita coughed, she looked at him once and turned at the table to have the water, but the jug was empty, she walked out to get some water when she saw some shadow in the hall.

She walked towards the shadow when she heard some whispering, she turned on the light and saw Simmi, as Ishita turned on the lights, Simmi panicked.

"Oh!! Ishita you!!" she got a relief, but Ishita looked at her suspiciously.

"What are you doing here? With whom you were talking?" she asked.

"Me!! No. I wasn't talking with anyone. You might be heard wrong. I came here to drink water." Simmi explained.

"Simmi is everything alright no!! You can share with me." she did with a assuring smile.

"No. Ishita, everything is fine. Don't worry." saying this she took leave.

Ishita got some water then and walked in room thoughtfully and found Raman awake, "Where were you?" he asked.

"I went to get some water." she said.

"What happen? You looked worried." he asked as he noticed something was bothering her.

"Umm!! Yes. Actually I met with Simmi out, she was talking with someone, but when I asked she denied to accept it." Ishita told him everything.

"Don't worry, if anything bothering her, she will definitely speak with me. Don't take stress much. Come, sleep here." he assured her when she erased the thoughts and slept, Raman covered her with the duvet and pecked a kiss on her lips when she hugged him and soon they drifted in sleep.
