Arnav was elated to learn from Anjali that his wife was finally ready to give him a chance. As he sat opposite to Khushi on the dining table, his passionate gaze lingered on her skin, almost burning it while anger floated in Khushi's eyes.

Khushi got up, completing her dinner as fast as she could and started walking towards her own room when Anjali stopped her.

" Where are you going Khushi?" Anjali questioned her affectionately while Khushi answered as if it was the most obvious thing in the world,

" To my room, Anjali. I have an early morning meeting, so I thought I will go to sleep early."

Anjali got up from her seat and walked upto Khushi in baby steps due to her weakness. She held Khushi's shoulder compassionately and spoke in a slow and thoughtful tone,

" Khushi, you said that you would give your and Chotte's marriage a chance. And if you keep maintaining distances like this, how will it even work?"

" We can try it out in other ways, Anjali. But sharing a room?" Khushi was uncomfortable even with the thought of sharing the room with Arnav, while his adrenaline had gushed through his blood vessels as he heard his DI asking Khushi, to share room with him.

" Anjali Bitiya is right, Khushi Bitiya. I mean you both are legally and officially husband and wife and you are feeling uncomfortable sharing a room with him. Khushi Bitiya, if his presence makes you feel so uncomfortable and you don't even want to do that, how will you give a good chance to this relationship?" Nani's thoughtful words had made Arnav smirk as she had publicly told Khushi that she was his wife. And Khushi, knew that she cannot argue with Nani on this matter and replied,

" As you wish, Nani. But my things?"

" They will be shifted by OM Prakash Ji, tomorrow morning. Just take what you want for the time being, Bitiya." Nani and Anjali smiled at each other as their plan was on the way to be successful, while Khushi apprehensively nodded before going to her room to fetch the things she would need.

"We have set the stage, Chotte. Now stealing the heart, is your job." Anjali remarked while their Chotte nodded affirmatively while walking into his room, to prepare it for her or rather welcome her.

After some time,

Khushi walked into the room, dressed in a exquisite fuschia pink night wear which was also a bit seductive, to see Arnav pacing around the room as if waiting for someone. She cast an angry look at him before walking towards the recliner, without exchanging a single word.

" Where are you going? The bed is here." Arnav couldn't comprehend her actions and was surely astounded by them. Khushi stopped and turned back with a fierce look on her face, as she walked with firm and long strides towards Arnav.

" Just because I am ready to give a chance to this relationship, don't assume that I would share the same bed as you. I will take the recliner after all it is your room." Khushi started walking towards the recliner when Arnav's grip on her wrist stopped her from walking and made her turn and look back at him furiously. Arnav left her hand and spoke in a respectful and affectionate tone,

" I will take the recliner after all this is your room too. And now that i have loved, I can do this much for your comfort."

Khushi realized his intention to flirt and eyed at him in a irritated manner before reaching out to the bed as instructed by Arnav.

" You also take the bed. Or else Anjali will feel bad and think that I am not trying my best. And also you have back pain and I am not as selfish as you are to hurt you, knowing the problem."

Arnav smiled as Khushi turned her back to him and felt happy that finally his wife was changing for good.

Khushi fell asleep just as she hit the bed as he could make out by her relaxed breathing rate and face. He held the hand which she kept beside her head in a gentle manner, to not wake her up and face her wrath as he whispered,

" You let me enter the bed for now, darling. But soon you will unlock the doors of your heart for me. And that's Arnav Singh Raizada's promise to his love and his wife."

Without leaving her hand, he let his eyes droop for the final time as he slipped into peaceful slumber which was decorated with the beautiful dreams of his beautiful wife.

Next Morning,

As the naughty rays of sun entered into the room and lingered on their faces, separated by a few inches of distance, Arnav's eyes tried opening themselves after the refreshing sleep.

But much to his surprise, there was something heavy on his chest and he could feel that it was soft, probably more than the pillows, he usually held while sleeping. He opened his eyes hurriedly to see his darling wife, lying on chest without no lines of worry on her face.

To say he was caught in the spell of the sleeping enchantress would be an understatement. How much did he crave for her to be the first sight of his in the morning? And finally, his wish had been fulfilled in the most unexpected way possible.

Suddenly it struck to him that Khushi would literally burn him with her looks, if she found herself close to him when she wakes up. He gently held her hand, and tried freeing her grip on his chest, but the stubborn lady she was didn't let the stubbornness in her fade, even in the sleep as she held him tighter and moved closer to him, leaving almost no distance in between their bodies and lips.

Arnav was scared of the consequences for the first time in life but he couldn't deny that her proximity to him, was sheer bliss. Love flowed as rivers from his heart as he caressed her hair affectionately as he stared at her with love flooding his eyes.

Much to his shock, Khushi squirmed in her sleep and moved so close to his lips, that there was no distance in between their lips and in that auspicious moment, Khushi decided to open her eyes and see herself a bit too close to her not-so beloved husband.

Ab Kya Hoga?
