The episode starts with Suman asking Preeti why she's still scared now that the cupboard has been opened and she's out safe. Preeti tells her she saw death with her own eyes and Thapki came in the form of an angel and saved her otherwise they would have found her dead body. Suman asks her why got locked in the cupboard in the first place and Preeti asks her to think about it herself. She asks Suman whether she think she would lock herself in the cupboard and says someone intentionally locked her inside. Suman then asks her who it could be and thinks about the enemy they have in the house. Preeti shocks her when she takes Shraddha's name which makes Suman ask her why she thinks so. Preeti says it's because she's revenging after they made fun of her clothes. Suman gets a flashback of them making fun of her clothes telling her their maid had the same clothes and she bought them from a footpath in Chandni Chowk. Preeti says Shraddha purposely dropped the ice cube to make them fall into the cow dung. She mentions that Shraddha did this to her because she stole her gold coin. Suman asks her how she could be so sure and is shocked when Preeti tells her that there was a trail of a few gold coins leading to the cupboard. Suman asks her why she didn't mention everything that happened and take Shraddha's name when everyone was asking. Preeti says she would have gotten in trouble too if she took Shraddha's name because the truth about her stealing the gold coin would have been exposed. Thapki walks in with a glass of juice in the hand and hears Suman say that Shraddha turned out to be a cunning and dangerous woman who managed to lock Preeti in the cupboard and no one doubted her. Later that night, Thapki walks back in forth in her room holding Shraddha's earring and thinking whether what Suman said about her is true or not. She ponders over why she would do such a thing with Preeti. She says she has to do anything to find out what the truth is. Bihaan wakes up and tells her there's a watchman to keep an eye on the house so why she's acting as a watchman and not sleeping. He walks to her when he doesn't get an answer and pulls her ears, breaking Thapki's reverie. Thapki asks him what he's doing and he responds saying he's checking whether she has some earplugs because he's been shouting for quite some time and she hasn't been saying anything. He asks her whether she feel asleep while standing and she asks him how that is possible. Bihaan sarcastically tells her anything is possible with her; even sleeping while hanging upside down. Thapki tells him it's nothing of that sort because she was thinking of something important and asks him why he woke up when he was sleeping peacefully. Bihaan again sarcastically tells her he has an interest of waking up in the night like an owl. He shouts at Thapki asking her how he'll sleep when she keeps the lights in the whole room on. He tells her to turn them off and let him sleep if she doesn't want to. Thapki turns the lights off and in the dark; she trips over the carpet and falls on Bihaan. They fall on the bed and share an eye lock. Bihaan tells her to get off him and go to sleep because she can do the thinking in the morning when the brain is fresh so it'll function properly. They both go to sleep. In the morning, Vasundara walks down the stairs followed by Suman and Preeti. She tells them its ChotI Diwali so the whole house must be clean to welcome Goddess Saraswati and Lakshmi. Suman tells her not to worry about anything because they will take care of it all. Preeti says they will clean the house so well that Saraswati and Lakshmi won't leave their house. They are shocked when they see the servants already cleaning and when they go to check, they find Shraddha instructing the servants on what to do. She takes Vasundara's blessings and Vasundara asks her what's going on and what she's doing. Confused, Suman and Preeti also ask what is happening and what she's doing there. Shraddha tells them they only thing they have to do is prepare for the puja because she hired servants to do everything else for Diwali. Bihaan walks in with Dadi and tells her she's smart and sensible but before doing something like that in the house she should have asked someone because they don't take help from outsiders while preparing for an auspicious occasion. Suman and Preeti are happy with what Bihaan is saying but Vasundara disappoints them all including Bihaan when she says that Shraddha is about to become their daughter in law so she has a right to do all that she's done and she's right. Dadi tells Preeti and Suman there Diwali came early because they escaped from doing so much work and asks them to thank Shraddha but Shraddha tells them there's no need for formalities. She then asks Preeti how she's feeling because she looked scared the day before. Preeti sarcastically tells her she feels awesome and thanks her for showing concern. Shraddha tells her she should be careful because it's Diwali and they should all celebrate it together. Suman tells Preeti to be careful otherwise they'll both get lit along with the fireworks by Shraddha. Preeti tells her not to worry because this time she'll do some magic and it'll be Shraddha's turn to be lit up. Shraddha walks to Dadi and tells her she has a special gift for her and takes her along to show her, asking everyone else to also join them. She takes Dadi to the door and shows her a beautiful, colourful rangoli, impressing Vasundara and making Dadi happy. Vasundara compliments it and asks her if she made it and Shraddha says she made it for Dadi. This irritates Suman and Preeti. Dadi says it must have taken so much effort in making this. She thanks Shraddha and tells her she has given a very beautiful Diwali gift. Shraddha asks her if she liked it and Vasundara says she hasn't only given the gift to Dadi but to the whole family. Ram Pyaari, the goat, runs in and spoils the whole rangoli shocking Shraddh, Dadi and Vasundara but this makes Bihaan, Suman and Preeti happy. The servant apologizes and says he was going to take the goat for a bath but the goat started running. Dadi scolds him asking him to take the goat away because the whole rangoli was spoiled. She asks Shraddha not to get disheartened and tells her to put in a little more effort to rectify the rangoli but Shraddha asks her how she'll rectify the rangoli because she's used up all the colours and she can't go out to get more colours because the shops are closed. Preeti, Suman and Bihaan quietly laugh at her when she says all her efforts have been wasted now that the rangoli has been destroyed. Thapki comes and tells her it can be rectified but Shraddha says it can't be rectified without colours. Thapki tells her to hold on and she'll show her that rangolis can be corrected without colours.Poonam emotionally does Aditi's and Diwakar's griha pravesh while Varun and Krishnakanth look on teary eyed. Diwakar calls Poonam mother in law and laughs saying God has strange tricks because God did all he could and made him the son in law of their family. While Aditi tries knocking down the kalash, Diwakar stops her and tells her it's not her griha pravesh but his welcoming as a ghar jamai. He says all he has to do is kick the kalash and while doing so, he purposely kicks it so hard that it breaks their family photo. The hole family look on shocked as he walks in and places his hand on top of the flame that Ponnam is holding on the aarti tray. He vows to revenge and make them regret every insult they made him face. He says that now only their family photo has broken but they will all break in the near future. Everyone looks on as Thapki rectifies the rangoli using household items like flour, haldi and dal. Everyone is impressed except Shraddha when Suman compliments Thapki telling her they never knew such a beautiful rangoli could be made from such items. Dadi gets happy and says this is how a well taught, mannered daughter in law who can run the home should be. She tells Vasundara to look at the beautiful rangoli that Thapki made by using such plain items. Vasundara agrees and says Thapki has saved Shraddha's efforts. Dadi says she hasn't only saved her efforts from being wasted but she also made the rangoli look better. Shraddha gets angry listening to Thapki being praised. Thapki gets up and tells everyone she didn't make the rangoli; Shraddha did. She says all she did is rectify it. Bihaan walks off from there while Suman and Preeti smirk. Vasundara asks Shraddha to join them for breakfast but Shraddha says she has to leave because her father must be waiting for her. Vasundara tells her she won't stop her now but she has to attend the puja on time in the evening. Shraddha bids her goodbyes and leaves after saying she will be there on time for the puja. In his room, Bihaan paces back and forth with a coconut in his hands. When Thapki walks in, he saluted her and folds in his hands as if praying then places the coconut in her hands. When Thapki asks him what it is and he says they call it a coconut in their house. Thapki says she knows what it's called but she wants to know why he's giving it to her. Bihaan says he gave it to her so she can break it on his head and show her true colours. Thapki tries saying something but Bihaan interrupts her and says she's like the coconut who is something else inside and something else on the outside. Thapki asks him what he means and he says he's not like her because he says whatever is in his heart but she traps it and hides in her heart to herself. He tells her she does this and bottles in everything she feels so she can take it all out on someone at the right time. Confused, Thapki asks him what he's saying and asks him who she took out her anger on. She is shocked again when Bihaan takes Shraddha's name and says he expressed it in front of everyone that he's not fond of her but she didn't say anything and chose to insult her in front of everyone today and make her lose. Thapki retaliates and tells him she has never thought that way and she never will because she's not like that. She tells him just because he's saying all this nonsense it means he thinks like that and does things like that too. Bihaan tells her whether he does another mistake or not but he always makes a big mistake by helping her. He tells her he only wanted to explain to her that Shraddha might do to her what she did to Suman and Preeti. He says he came to help her and explain it to her but she explained something else to him so there's nothing else left for him to say. He leaves the room while Thapki thinks about what he said, She says that if Shraddha really thinks that she rectified her rangoli in order to insult her then Shraddha will definitely want to do something to her in form of revenge just like she did with Suman and Preeti. She says if Shraddha does this then her truth will be exposed in front of everyone. She says they'll see Shraddha's true colours in the puja held in the evening. The screen freezes on Thapki's determined face.Precap: While walking in the corridor, Thapki is stopped by Shraddha who asks her where the storeroom is. Thapki asks her what she needs and Shraddha shows the tray of diyas she's holding and says she need more ghee for them but Dadi had told the servants to put the ghee in the storeroom so she needs to know where it is to get the ghee. Thapki tells her not to worry because she'll get the ghee. Thapki enters the dark storeroom and holds her phone with the torch on to help he see better. She spots the ghee container and when she reaches out to get it, she trips over something and falls while another metal container falls from abobe.
