Part 48
Till the darkness of the sky was not faded with the soft light of rays...the sun too not flaunt with its beautiful sunbeam from the grade of sky yet...but their car stopped on its destination.
Raghav was sleeping on his bed peacefully laying on the side of his stomach...a sweet smile still playing on his lips dreaming of all their last night...their moments with each other, the sloppy rain droplets on them and the unstoppable desire for each other...all flashing in front of his closed eyes fluently. He still feeling her near him and in that he hugged his pillow tightly... Raghav was in the dreams of his chipkali...when someone jumped on his back loudly.
"Ahhh...my back..." he fluttered like anyone taking his life.
Pari entered in home with her dadi and choti dadi...but before seeing her mother, she ran toward her papa's room to wish him good morning. Seeing him sleeping on his bed with smile... Pari not stopped her and jumped on his back.
The little brat giggled when he winced in pain. "Angel...you broke my back again baby..." he uttered whiningly.
Pari chuckled and wrapped her small around his neck, "I miss you Papa.." She kissed sweetly on his cheek. A cute beam came on his face too...with her gesture.
"Papa...too missed his princess very much..." he turned to face her making her sit on his stomach, when his eyes felled on the watch on wall which showing time still 6:15 AM of the morning. He surprised to see her there at that time. "Angel... Why you all came so early?" he asked her "and mom...how she allowed to travel in night with Pari... ajeeb bat hai..." the crinkle of stress and thinking bulged on his forehead with gouri's decision to come on that time.
"Don't know... Choti dadi said, she has the urgent work... So we came early..." she answered. Raghav fumed his nostrils thinking about kamini, who uselessly awoke his daughter the whole night. "I feeling very sleepy papa..." Pari yawned while mumbling...her oscitancy made him come on sense again. "Can I sleep here with you..." she completed tickling her puffy eyes. Raghav felt bad looking his daughter's inconvenience.
"Come baby..." he spoke up affectionately wrapping his blanket around her and made her sleep in his embrace. And in soon he too fall in deep slumber again with her.
On dinning table, kalpi was feeding Pari silently...she didn't like the way kamini returned home early in the morning by ordering driver for the late night drive, Kamini not even thought once about Pari's discomfort. Because of her kalpi's angel stayed up whole night...she felt fuming on kamini, but what she do...she couldn't able to say anything to her, because if Kamini started...Kalpi didn't find the words to utter. Only Raj could handle her...even Gouri aunty too never managed to speak with her. And Raghav...how he will react nobody knows. He respected her like his own mother. Kalpi had no option instead of starring them quietly.
Gouri was taking the sip of her coffee mutely...she made argument with Kamini last night...but as usual Kamini twirled Gouri on her words...and the genuine woman couldn't able to appose her. And poor pakhi...she was safe from kamini's fire that day...because she found kalpi sleeping on her room alone and Raghav in his. Pakhi still not believed that Kamini hugged her with a happy kiss at morning... what was made her so happy', the only thought roaming on Pakhi's mind from morning.
Every face was filled with some stress and thought, except Pari and Kamini. Pari who was busy in eating with her antics...and Kamini who was busy in her useless smile. After all her frill worked...nothing happened between Raghav and Kalpi. Pakhi was succeed in keeping them separate. And that happiness was very much for her.
"Good morning mom..." he pulled his chair calmly and sat on his place. Kalpi tried to read his expression...but it showing her steadiness. But his silent gaze on Pari's face was not unnoticed by her. There was something going on his mind she understood.
"Good morning Raghav..." Gouri replied him with same tune.
"Raghav... Good morning bachcha. How is your morning. I hope Pakhi not troubled you much last night..." Kamini blabbered tauntingly. Pakhi's food choked up hearing her words and she start coughing. While Kalpi watched her unbelievably widening her eyes. All gazes stucked on her except Raghav who still staring his angel quietly.
"Mom...seriously there was any need to drive on night..." he rapped out. Now all gazes turned toward him with diffidently.
"Raghav...Kamini had some urgent..."
"If you not able to look after my daughter...then please don't take her again with you mom..." Kalpi closed her eyes in disbelief on his tune. The hot vapour came out from her body seeing his adamant tone. Gouri lowered her lashes gloomily. A drop off tear felled from the corner of her eyes. Raghav felt bad seeing his mother's paled face...but even so he sat at his place mutely. Kamini not believed on her ears, that Raghav really spoke rudely to his mother for Pari. She sealed her lips eyeing all that...because she very well knew, if Raghav could scold his mother...then he never leave her too.
"I am sorry beta...I will take care of this thing next time" she whispered wretchedly and left from there toward her room. Raghav felt a pin pinched in his heart. He looked toward Kalpi plaintively.
"What you did Raghav?? You don't have to do this..." she expressed from her eyes.
"What I did...you know when things come on my daughter...I can't control my anger...I think, I hurt her..." he answered her biting his lower lip with dejected eyes.
"Yes you are... Now go...and say sorry..." she forced him. But he feel uncomfortable now. "What are you thinking Raghav... Go and say sorry to her..go" she ordered him gesturing toward gouri's bedroom.
"OK..." He got up and moved to meet his mother.
Kamini's anger reached on peak seeing their eye to eye talkie. The things not went on the way she thought till now. Pakhi didn't do anything...that came in her mind very well. She gave Pakhi her killing look and blew away from there.
"Ab maine kya kiya..." Pakhi asked herself unbelievably on Kamini's behavior.
Raghav entered in her room...when he saw her standing near window facing the lovely view of their garden. He bite his lower lip guiltily and hugged her from behind.
"I am sorry mom...i said you the unthoughtful words... I am extremely sorry... "
"It's OK Raghav... I am not angry on you...whatever you said is right...but" she paused a little. "In fact I am happy...today I saw Vikram's glimpse in you...I felt like he talking to me...the same possessiveness he had for you kids...I saw in you for Pari...so don't worry...I am fine..." he smiled happily.
"Thanks mom...for believing me..."
"I always believe you beta..." she responded to his hug.
"i love you mom..." he replied.
"but Pari loves dadi more than you...hai na..." Pari ran toward Gouri in fast. Gouri picked up her in hands. Kalpi also stepped in behind Pari.
"Ha...and dadi too loves her Pari more than her Papa..." Gouri kissed tightly on her cheek. Raghav wrapped his hand lovingly on Kalpi's waist and they both watched them with smile.
"I love you..." he moved his lips starring Kalpi tenderly. She blushed on his gaze.
"I love you too..." she replied blinking her lashes.

In noon...Annanya and Anjali was roaming around the shopping mall laughing and chatting with each other. They did their shopping...as finally Sammy was taking anu on their honeymoon on next day.
"Ohh god...how I forget to take your dad's cufflinks from the store...anu you stay here...I just come back in mean time beta..." Anjali whispered hastily and stepped toward the jewellery store. Anu stood there alone eyeing at the crowd and the youngsters...who also roaming there hands and hands with their partners. Her lips widened with a small beam looking at them. She never thought...that in her life she get this chance to roam there on her feet. Sometimes she came there on her wheelchair...but today she actually enjoyed her shopping with her new mother. That feeling delighted her heart...she slipped her gaze smilingly around the view...when her eyes caught Kamini near a long board.
"Mom...here..." she was surprised...but then her eyes felled on the person with her. "Ohh...she come to meet someone..." anu smiled and moved her legs on her direction.
"Mom..." Kamini dumbstruck to hear Anu's voice there and then she saw her coming near her.
"Why she is here..." Kamini gritted her teeth. She signaled the man to go away by inconvenient way and he left from there. Anu walked up to her gaily and hugged her.
"I am so happy to see you hear mom..." she spoke up heartily. Her lips not left the beam for once...but then suddenly Kamini jerked her from herself. Anu watched her startlingly...her heart was not ready to digest again this time. Kamini always had the problem with Anu's disability...but now she was fine, then what's the reason of her mother's hatred...her heart asked her repetitively.
"Don't dare to come near me...you sulky" Kamini seethed...Anu looked at her dumbly. "I don't want your ominous shadow on me...jab dekho tab aa jati hai sab barbad Karane..." she hissed. Anu's heart fluttered on her every word...the tears gathered on the edge of her eyes looking Kamini's scornful gaze on her, "I warned you again...stay away from me...otherwise..."
"Anu...kaha thi tum beta...I was finding you there..." Kamini took back her finger trembly...which she pointed toward Anu to warn her...hearing the voice of Anjali. Anu too wiped her tear before it came on sights of Anjali.
"Hello Kaminiji...how are you?" Anjali said...but little astonished seeing the calmness on Anu's face.
"I am fine..." Kamini answered her coldly.
"Woh Kids going to their honeymoon tomorrow...so thought to..." Anjali was about telling her Sammy and Anu's honeymoon...but before she complete, Kamini cut her.
"I am so sorry Mrs. Raizada...I have some work... So see you later..." and without getting Anjali's response Kamini slipped from there.
"OK..." Anjali dazzled by her action...but ignored her. "Chale Anu...we getting late..." she spoke to Anu...who still noticing her mother wonderingly...who not even once looked at her with a sweetness.
"anu..." Anjali shook her.
"Ha..."
"Chale..." Anu nod her head affirmatively and they walked toward exit.
Annanya sat silently on her bed staring at the ceiling...her mind till now only thinking about Kamini's bitter words which not only knifed her heart numerous times...but filled her mind with the question, that why her mother hate her such way. She was so lost in her thought...that she not even realized Sammy's presence also in the room.
Sammy astonished seeing her condition...his wify everyday entertained him with her cute smile or by her horrible blabbering...but today she was silent. There was no excitement seen on her face for their honeymoon. He sat beside her calmly...but she didn't notice him.
"Want to talk..." he whispered slowly. His voice brought her back on sence.
"When you come???" She asked amazingly. Sammy turned to face her. Now she understood the meaning of his words.
"what happened Anu??"
"Nothing..." she nod her head negatively with a small beam.
"Anu...please..." Sammy held her hand in his...assuring her always to be with her. Her face lowered with sadness.
"Today I met mom in the mall..." the small tear slide from her cheek. Sammy's heart skipped a beat hearing about Kamini but he composed himself.
"Then..."
"I don't understand Sammy why she hate me this way...I always try to make her happy...to get her love...but she always disgust me...I thought, may be my disability stewed her...but now..." she looked at him desperately, "is she still stewed of me Sammy...you know sometimes I feel, I am the curse of her life...which she wants to put off...I know I am the reason of her loneliness...but I never want it intentionally...mujhe kuch samaz me nahi ata ke mai kya karu...how i tell her...i never wanted to ruin her happiness...how I" she poured her heart with teary eyes. Sammy listened her each and every word attentively.
"So you want her more than me...right..." he uttered.
"No...I don't mean it Sammy..." she lifted her gaze lamely. He chuckled on her tension.
"I know Annanya...but from the childhood I seen your mother's very queer behavior for you...and never understand the meaning of her hatred. Like her you also lost your dad...and your legs too...but she always blamed you for ruining her life...how...don't know. And I really don't want to know all that. For me...for my family and for your family you are very much important... We all love you selflessly...and your mother's thoughts never affect us...ha if you not happy with me...then that will be other point"
"I am happy with you..."
"Then why she matters you Anu...leave her then...forget what happened yesterday... Just think of our upcoming tomorrow... I am with you...you are with me...our whole relations with us...then why you need her..." Annanya lowered her lashes dejectedly. "she don't need you Anu...she has her life...where no place for you... But my whole life is empty without you...par tum mujhe bhav deti hi nahi..." he teased her raising his eyebrows. Anu narrowed her eyes with her O shaped mouth.
"When I not give you importance ha..." she slapped on his chest. "For you I did shopping and you said mai bhav nahi de rahi..."
"shopping...for me...or for you..." he laughed. "OK show me what you took for me..." Anu started to show him all the things one by one...her excitement again gone peak...and she forgot about Kamini.
"Thirty-seven...thirty-eight...Thirty-nine...forty...among forty items, The Annanya Raizada chose only eight items for her husband... Wow..." Anu bite her tounge guiltily with blush. "Kya halat ho gayi meri..." He uttered sympathetically on him.
Anu chortled, "now help me for packing...for this all stuff we need at least nine bags...right..." she said observing all her stuff.
"Nine...bas...I thought we need a special plane only for our luggage..."
"Sammy...don't laugh...and help me to pack this..." she snapped him.
"Sorry sweetheart...I am feeling sleepy now...tumhe packing karni hai...then go on...mai to chala sone..." and he felled on bed wrapping his sheet on his face...Anu's anger start boiling seeing him sleeping there.
"Sammy..." she exploded. "how you leave me alone with this vortex...how could you...?" She seethed.
"We will do this on morning love... But now come and sleep with me..." And before Anu would react, Sammy pulled her on bed and placed his lips on hers. She tried to redeem from him...but then used her all strength in responding him. Sammy smiled on his Lovely wife's wiggle and dissolved himself in hers.
Next day...after finishing all her appointments and rounds, Kalpi relaxed herself on her cabin leaning back on the chair with her closed eyes...in all roaming thousands of thoughts...her eyes start memorizing his face...and she herself didn't know when a beautiful beam placed on her lips...all his mischievousness...his adoring love and then his angry khadoos mode...who always slinked in between from any side and any time played in front of her. As like everyday...that day too his temper started to boil when his file not finding him...and suddenly all house converted into the searching field to find it...poor Robert turned as hook in all that...and finally the file found and that too in Pari's school bag...every pair of eyes turned toward Raghav angrily...because he himself put it unknowingly in Pari's bag last night and now he shouting on others for their carelessness. His condition was like chala tha raja banane par halat fakir se bhi battar ho gayi like that...he watched all them pleadingly and guiltily.
Kalpi giggled remembering his face when Gouri punished him to make coffee for all of them by his hand...and he observed the pot like a bizarreness...after all The Raghav Singhania first time entered in kitchen to make something...everyone including servents enjoyed his coffee heartily...his face brightened with happiness...but when he himself tested it, he spit up coffee on next moment very bitterly. His face was gloom with his work and delighted looking scale for him in his servents' eyes. But then he again made coffee and with the help of kalpi...that time he literally enjoyed his first work in kitchen.
Their tease and his romance all made her smiled through heart. She was busy in remembering him...when.
"May I come in doctor..." a male voice broke her trance and she looked at the door.
"Father Stephen... Ohh please... " she got up from her seat and moved towards him to welcome with a warmed smile. "How are you...and kids...and specially how is Andrew's leg..." she asked several questions in one go excitedly. Father beamed pleasantly on her temerity.
"cool down my child...cool down. Everyone is fine..." he replied. Kalpi smiled but marveled thinking about his sudden visit. Father grinned looking her astonishment. "I came here to say you thank you..." he continued.
"Ohh father... I told you...that's only my work...and I always do...please don't say thank you for that..." she tried to overwhelm her intentions...but father Stephen again cut her.
"Not for that Kalpana...but for adopting the whole orphanage home..." he spoke up with great pleasure. Kalpi's brows raised with his words wonderingly.
"May be Mr. Singhania not told you yet..." he returned reading the surprised expressions on her face.
"No...he didn't tell me anything father..." she mumbled. Father smiled slowly.
"Two days before, he adopted all responsibility of children in behalf of you and donated fifty thousand dollars for children too. Now he started the renovation work of our minster...whole minster is cherishing in joy dear" while whispering all things father's face bloomed with delight. "Now no child will live without education, food and inconvenient shelter. And these all happened only because of you and Mr. Singhania. There is no one who look this orphans as human being...but the waste of their society. But you two gave them chance to make their identity in this society... And that is very big. Now we don't need any bestower for the charity of our home...so for all this thank you..." Kalpi felt proudest hearing all his eulogize...he again surprised her by his incredible work...and for that he did not pat his back too. That day she really felt like showing off to everyone that he is the man of her life...her heart danced in happiness...her face brighten with mirth...but still the blush slinking in between...she controlled her uncontrollable emotions and looked father Stephen directly.
"First...whatever he did father...is very small for the children. And second... Its our duty for our society... Raghav and me are very happy that we got this chance... So no thank you..." father chuckled on her words.
"Wow...you too have one heart right...the same words he too used that day..." he mumbled brightly, Kalpi lowered her lashes blushingly, "god bless you both and your family with all happiness...the good turn never gone waste..Just believe on that god...he will protect your family from all evil eye...amin..." he blessed her with his wishing words and left from there. Kalpi turned toward her table...and chortled on her craziness.
At evening like as usual his car stopped in front of the entrance of her hospital...when he found her at the lobby talking and laughing with Karan with her stuff on hand...she looked very happy with him, as her every beam reached to her eye. Raghav observed her from every beat while enjoying the Karan's company...but then he fluttered...when Karan's hand reached on her shoulder. Raghav tried to snaffle his running mind...which unconsciously start thinking about Kamini's words...suddenly Karan's free behavior towards her pinching his heart...but he turned his gaze to relax his running mind. He soothed his mind and waited for her...and then suddenly his eyebrows shrunk to see the man near them...
"He is the same..." he mumbled, " what he doing here with Kalpi and Karan..." he looked at them startlingly as Karan shaking his hand with him and Kalpi was being a nice spectator...like they knew him very well. Kalpi waved them bye and about to go when Karan hugged her by side. Raghav tightened the grip on his steering wheel. And she moved towards him...Raghav watched her coming to him smilingly but his eyes still stuck on Karan and that man. Karan was instructing the man something forcefully and that man too nodded his head like a good follower.
"Hi..." she whispered cheerily to Raghav...and his eyes moved toward her. The flourishing beam on her lips made him forgot everything...and he forgot where his eyes was stuck on.
"Hi..." he responded with bright smile. She placed herself in car safely beside him, "kya bat hai...someone is looking very happy today..." he asked curiously. She smiled heartily.
"Ha...my someone did very special today..." she grinned. Raghav raised his eyebrows quizzically.
"And what is that...?"
"Kui batavu...are you told me everything??" She questioned. He was about to mumble...when that man slipped from the front of their car.
"Kalpi...he is the same amusement park man...right..." he pointed him to her.
"You remember him..."
"Of course... But what he doing here..." he turned toward her.
"Ohh he is Karan's patient... I just met him in lobby...and there he told me that he purposely asked me the wrong address that day as he watched me here always...moron...why he need to do this all..." she scoffed thinking about him.
"May be he too flat on my love..." he teased her.
"Shut up Raghav..." Raghav giggled looking her restiveness...when his eyes caught Yasmin and Karan discussing there. Yasmin was little bit distressed...while Karan was pacifying her...and then Karan took her inside encircling his hand around her waist. His actions made Raghav endorsed on his thinking.
"Kalpi...is there something between Karan and Yasmin?? I saw them together just minutes before..." Kalpi surprised by his question...but thought as he must be talking about their fights.
"Oh no no...nothing is between them...this little sabre-rattling happens in r..." And her phone buzzed. Kalpi picked up to see the caller Id.. "Anu..." she showed him.
"Ha Anu..."
"Why are you crying...?" Her heart panicked. Raghav too watched her in bafflement.
"ohh...OK OK...don't worry... We have three hours...packing ho jayegi..." Raghav slapped his head in disbelief that his little sister really crying for her packing. Kalpi chuckled looking at him.
"OK...we reach there in fifteen minutes... Just wait for me... We will do..." Kalpi assured Anu and put her phone down.
"What!!! Why are you laughing?" She frowned seeing Raghav chuckling on them unbelievably.
"Tum aurato ka kuch nahi ho sakta...hai na...you will be crying for packing..." he teased her.
"Kui ki tum mard kuch karte nahi na...otherwise we don't need to cry... If Sammy help her...to ye problem hi nahi hoti...but you all men are same...useless... You also do same with me right..." she encountered him.
"No...I will not..." he answered her very casually, her eyes twinkled with joy...but then his words made her open her mouth in astonishment "because we don't need the bags on our honeymoon...right..." he winked at her naughtily biting his lower lip.
"What!!! You..." she started to beat him by her journal. "You don't have any shame na...kuch bhi bolate ho..." she scoffed. Raghav laughed mischievously on her frowned face.
"I hate you..." she puttered.
"But I love you...and always love you..." he spoked tenderly looking at her. A blush played on her sights but she covered it in her fake anger.
"But I hate you...and always hate you...khadoos" she gritted her teeth falsely. He smiled eyeing at her narrowed gaze.
"Chipkali..."
"Khadoos... Khadoos... Khadoos..."
"Chipkaliii..." he turned his car toward Sammy and Anu's home teasing her with his words. And with taunting and fighting they start their journey to their next destination with each other...with two bodies and then one soul to be together and forever.
