Tuesday Evening
Sanskaar immediately called his sister,he couldn't control his excitement and whenever he used to get excited he used to call his sister,she was his best friend,but unlike him,she wasn't introvert,and was totally opposite to him,in communications,friends,boyfriends and everything.
"Haan,bolo Sanskaar..kya hua?"His sister asked him over the phone.
"dii,i am so happy!"Sanskaar got a bit over his excitement.
"oh ho sanskaar,how many times have I told you not to call me dii"
"Okay,Mia,fine ?"
"yeah,ab bolo"
"You know Swara..she..she..omgeee she invited me to the party,that's on saturday...that prom!"
"don't kid around me,just get to the point"
"i am not kidding"
"okay,you told me that swara is the most popular girl in your college,and my friend told me that every other guy has a crush on her in the college huh! why'd she invite you then?"
"di aapko na mujhpe itnu sa bhi bharosa nahi hai..not even a percent of trust!"
"aisa nahi haii but"Sanskaar interrupted her,and continued his conversation.
"but wat kuch nahi...i just know I am going and you are coming with me to Van heusen,okhay?"
"okay,,but van heusen? ohho! seems like my brother has grown up now"
"Mia,shut up! Or I will call you with your real name!"
"Are you blackmailing me right now?"
"Meera.."
"Okay,I am coming!"
Sanskaar kept the phone in his pocket,and jumped,as though there couldn't be anything better than this..this was the best feeling for him..for his crush..he couldn't believe if these things were actually happening or not.Mia just smiled,and knew that something was going on his brother's mind,that he won't dare to share with her,just like she didn't share anything about her boyfriends' to him,but whatever it was..she knew her brother was elated,which made her as well.
Friday Night (Sanskaar's room)
"Mia,I shouldn't go right ?"Sanskaar looked upon his new suit,he had tried on only one time till now.
"Why shouldn't you go now"Mia was lying down on the bed,on her stomach,fiddling with her mobile.
"Ah No I simply can't go"
"I even bought you a suit from Van heusen now what?"
"If"
"If.."
"If all of them make fun of me then?"
"AH!Sanskaar!Baby,why'd they make fun of such an innocent boy?You are talking as though you are an elementary school kid!Don't be so fussy now"
Mia tried her best to explain her brother,and maybe that is why Sanskaar considered her as his best friend,coz she could understand everything about him.
"Mia please,you know exactly this..because I am a 'boy' not man,I am innocent not sharp..even if i get a 100 on 100,and I beat all of them in studies,I am dumb,because I don't know how life is..how people are..we study for,earning and for an independent living haina?But what about love and friendships..what about them?You know what I mean"
"I know,I do..you just calm down!WHat if all those friends make fun of you?Friends do make fun,they even insult,but only if it can be taken lightly then it is perfect,but what if you don't like it..and feel insulted?And what if,they make fun of you and insult you even after knowing how you feel ? If they use your weakness as their high points then they aren't your friends okay?"
"But what about Swara?"Sanskaar knew what his sister said was true,without a doubt!But what about his long time crush?Will he lose her so easily,without even trying a bit?
"Nothing!You just feel inferior!You feel as though she will feel that you are boring and will not prefer talking to you right?You know,friendship does not mean talking to one another,or making anyone enjoy,laugh,cry and watch movies,click pics etc..it means that even when you are in silence,that person feels good,just,good,to be with you!You don't need to entertain her for no reason,just have faith in yourself,and hope...it might help you!Just by looking at that person,you feel good..and that is love!You cry when she cries,you get happy when she gets happy,you don't want to touch her..you just want to take all her pain within you!This happens either in family,or,in love"
Sanskaar tightly hugged at what his sister said,he knew he was feeling better,and had regained his faith within himself.
