It was night time, Rey took his son & Taani out for dinner. Rey stepped out of the washroom, was about to walk toward their table when he collided with someone. He looked up and found his best buddy, swayum, whom he was seeing after years. Swayum was surprised to see him, he hadn't been in contact with him after Rey left for UK.
"Rey, Tu yaha? Kab vapas aaya?" Swayum asked him after coming out of the shock state he was in.
"Few days back, You say, how are you and others? How are they?" Rey asked him, they moved aside and got busy in talking to each other.
"After you left, everything changed. Some has established their career, and some are still struggling." Swayum answered him, Rey felt his anger increased, he felt more angry on taani after he heard, his friends are still struggling.
"But why you left so suddenly, Rey, Do you have any idea how much we tried contacting you, but you changed your contact number then from your family we got to know you are in UK."
"Something happened that forced me to leave-" Rey answered him. Swayum gave him a puzzled look.
"Kya hua tha, Rey?"
Rey laughed sadly, how can he tell him that it was his sister because of whom he left. But since Swayum nor anyone else about aware about his relationship with taani, he kept quiet.
"Don't tell me you left because of that academy fiasco-Oh God! It's all because of my sister. because of her only all that happened."
"She had created so much mess in our lives, she betrayed us for some money seema offered her. Because of her only, aaj hum sab friends saath nahi hai." Swayum continued, Rey was looking at him. Though they all knew it was taani because of whom they lost their academy but he was shocked to see the hatred in swayum's eyes for his sister.
"Papa-" Before Rey could say something, Reyaan came there, running toward him. Rey smiled at picked him up, and turned to swayum who looked quiet shocked seeing Rey has a child.
"Papa, who is he?" Reyaan asked him in low tone. Now it was Rey's turn to get shock, he thought Reyaan must be knowing swayum as he is taani's brother.
"Rey, is he your son? When you got married?" Swayum questioned him. Rey stare at him. didn't she told her family about Reyaan? Rey thought to himself.
"Yes, he is my son, Reyaan. And Reyaan, He is swayum uncle, My best friend." Rey introduced them to each other. Reyaan gave him a small smile which melted swayum's heart.
"Swayum, can i ask you something?"
"Off course, Rey."
"Taani-"
"Please, Rey, don't even take her name in front of me. You have no idea what she had done? She has destroyed our family's reputation. Nobody in our family takes her name, nor anyone have any contact with her." Swayum cut him off in middle. Little Reyaan frowned when he heard his anger filled voice.
"Is it because what she did with us?" Rey asked him, deep down he was feeling miserable thinking she raised their son alone, but soon he pushed that feeling away and look at swayum, waiting for his answer.
"Something bigger than that. She was pregnant. She didn't even told us the name of the father of her child. Soon relatives & neighbors also got to know this, and all were talking ill about us so dad asked her to abort the baby or leave the house. She left the house, and we haven't seen her since then." Swayum told him, and at that moment, what rey felt, he couldn't describe in words. A sudden bitterness arose in his heart for her family who wanted to kill their baby. All his hatred went away for a moment when he thought about her, he was happy, grateful to her for keeping their child alive, she chose their baby above her family. And for that, he will be in grateful to her. He felt miserable for the woman who raised her child alone with no one to support her. Whatever she might have done in the past, but she doesn't deserve this. Unexpected meet with swayum had revealed some hidden truths. Changing his perspective about her little.
