Ronit's big day
It may be Amitabh Bachchan's birthday today (October 11), but the small screen's Big B (as Ronit Roy is referred to in TVland) will also join in the celebration. In fact, the birthday boy celebrated his big day on the sets of Sony's Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa along with wife Neelam (who is expecting baby No 2) and daughter Aador.
Mini Mathur, younger brother Rohit Roy and wife Manasi Joshi and choreographer Nicole Alvares also joined in the merry-making.
Meanwhile…
Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa anchor Mona Singh turned 27 on October 8. When we called her, Mona giggled, "It was the most fun-filled birthday. I invited the entire Jhalak team, including Sandhya Mridul, Mini Mathur and Toby, my choreographer from last season, and I danced so hard that my feet are still aching. I've never had so much fun."
Her beau Karan Oberoi attended to all the guests, but the Jhalak judges were not on the scene.
Says Mona, "The judges generally don't attend our parties, but I'm sure they would've come had I asked them to.
This year's judges are very chilled out!" Which begs the question: Just why didn't she invite them? Hmmm!
