Khushi knew that the paparazzi would be around them for sure and hence she had to maintain that image that she and Arnav didn't have any other relation except that of clients.

On the other hand, the party which was organized was reminding Arnav of the friendship which was destroyed beyond repair. Didn't they accompany each other for every party they attended for sure? Maybe that's why, after separating himself from Khushi, Arnav never attended any party.

Every words of Khushi which was unsaid found its way to Arnav's ears. Every desire left unvoiced by her, was fulfilled by him. From a relationship which didn't require any words, they had entered into a relationship where words of love were no longer exchanged and even if there were they were ruthlessly ignored.

The dreams which Arnav had woven had broken down completely, not because of someone else. Because sometimes there is no necessity of a external villain in a love story as one's heart can turn out to be the biggest villain of the love story as in the case of Arnav and Khushi.

Destiny usually never gave second chances but for Arnav and Khushi, it mercifully granted a second chance. While someone is too hurt to trust again, someone is all set to convince her lover. In this war of love and hurt, where both try to overpower each other, only time can tell which would win.

Arnav's eyes burned to see Khushi smiling with the other clients of AR as she met them. Khushi being one of the top businesswomen in the world, had a lot of people who wanted to work with her. And a rejection without a smile could only result in drastic consequences, which Khushi had realized the hard way. Hence, the fake smile played on her lips as she suppressed the inner pain which threatened to break her down completely into pieces any second.

Suddenly she felt the urge to use the washroom and hence she hurried herself to hers and Arnav's room after excusing herself from the guests. After completing the job which had brought her to the washroom, she glanced at herself in the mirror, while suddenly she saw the reflection of Arnav's wallet behind her.

" I am sure Arnav would have kept the picture of that girl in his wallet." Khushi took long strides to the wallet, but her heart was in the fear of seeing the girl who had taken her place in her Arnav's life. But he was no longer hers, wasn't it? She has to know whether that girl is right for Arnav or not. And with that thought, after mentally apologizing to Arnav for looking into his wallet without his permission, Khushi opened the wallet but it was snatched before she could actually see the person whose photo was there. She was sure that there was a photo, but whose it was she was not sure.

But she had to face the person who had snatched Arnav's wallet from her and after taking a deep breath in, she turned around to find herself face-to-face with Arnav Singh Raizada.

" Who gave you the right to touch my wallet, dammit? Don't try to be my wife by touching my things okay?" Arnav warned her in rude tone as he looked straight into her eyes, before he walked out of the place leaving Khushi all broken. Unlike the times in the past, their eye-locks had no messages in them.

" Even when we were friends, I had the right to touch everything of yours, Arnav. But now when we are bound a relationship much sacred than that, why did you snatch that right from me?" Tears appeared in her eyes, which she quickly blinked away.

Who said that only a person who is crying is sad?

Although Khushi was not in tears, she was in deep turmoil. She was tormented by the fact that her Arnav was treating her like a stranger. She was hurt that he was distancing her from himself in every way possible. She was devastated that Arnav had moved on completely in life, although she knew that she had no right to expect him to not move on in his life.

Arnav's Farmhouse,

On Khushi instructions and insistence, NK had to reach out to Arnav's farmhouse to know who is the girl in Arnav's life. Khushi had cleverly stolen the keys of Farmhouse when Arnav was sleeping and handed them over to NK.

As NK realized that entire farmhouse was plunged in darkness, he realized that probably Arnav's girlfriend was not inside. But surely he would get hold of her identity in some way or the other, if he enters inside.

NK opened the farmhouse and looked around in the faint moonlight that entered the house. He noticed that there were numerous picture frames on the wall.

Surely, some of them would have Arnav's girlfriend, thought NK.

NK switched on the lights so that he could see who was in the life of Khushi's love, Arnav Singh Raizada.

He stood rooted to the spot as he saw himself face to face with the picture of a rather beautiful woman. No, it was not a picture. It was a handmade painting, probably by ASR himself for his lady love.

" Khushi..."

A whisper left NK's mouth as he eyed at the painting on the canvas.

Shock, that someone could love so unconditionally and boundless even when he claimed to hate her.

Happiness, that it was his friend who was on the receiving end of this love but there was also SADNESS, that Khushi would again be lost in the blackhole of her love and maybe this it would be impossible to bring her out of this.

The company she started from a scratch, the position she gained in the society with her hardwork, everything would lay forgotten if he told Khushi about she being the lady love of Arnav. NK didn't trust Arnav with Khushi any more, not after Khushi relating him about how rudely she spoke with her after making love to her the previous night, when there was absolutely no one who would listen to her except her best friend and her sole-support, NK.

He had decided, he would lie to Khushi about it.

As music began and the dance floor was opened, Khushi was asked by many to accompany them for a dance. But Khushi had gracefully turned down all the requests of dance with a smile on her face. After all, she wanted to dance with only one person but unfortunately he was lost, probably in someone's thoughts. For Arnav it was another try from Khushi to get close to him and insult him yet again.

The fire of their passion had extinguished, but the marks left by it were still burning, with love. There was love from both sides, pain everywhere and need for each other always. But someone's heart is not letting them unite.

Will they ever reunite, forgetting every pain and every mistake?
