Hey Friends,

5th October episode created a lot of controversy....when Karan Patel imitated Shahrukh and Amitabh, Rakhi Sawant imitated Hema Malini and made some remarks on her daughter Isha Deol and Karan-Kavitha did a performance on the Rakhi-Mika incident as a part of the ched-chad round. All these were some forms of imitation...some hinting at people and their mannerisms and others are some incident in their life...which they portrayed as a performance. Whichever be the case...all of them are forms of mimicry or imitation of a person or incident. 😳

We know that imitation is an art and it is kind of justified in our society...when we imitate mannerisms or style of speaking of some actors or some incidents in their lives...which are not direct insults...but rather intended to convey some kind of message or indication. So do you feel that such imitation is wrong? Do you feel Rakhi imitating Hema Malini commenting on her fevistick neck and Kavitha-Karan imitating the much hyped Rakhi-Mika kissing incident and Karan Patel imitating Amitji were all wrong?😛

Surely we tend to differentiate saying that some are insulting and some are not...but all of them are forms of imitation. If somebody make fun of us...perhaps we may feel hurt...but imitation is considered as an act. So is imitation justified or should it be avoided on television? Because whatever kind of imitation it be...it is a form of poking a fun at the person...though celebrities fall prey to such imitation...but audience tend to laugh at it. It is said that imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. So should imitation be avoided on television and on shows like Nach Baliye?😊
