Chapter 10 A

Manik POV..

Those wounds..! Nandini..! Don't interrogate me..! It hurts..! Jack..! Max..! Tiger..! My buddies..! Haahhh..! It hurts..! Damn it..! I am trying to forget everything..! I thought and came back to my room..! I sat on the couch and opened my laptop placing it on the table in front of me..! I wanted to do some work in peace but how can I work when Nandini Murthy was all around in the house..! She came in my room without knocking of course..!

"Aj main oper..! Asman neechy..! Aaj main aagy..! Zamana hai pechy..!"She sang so loudly that I palmed my ears..! I look at her she was munching her chocolate looking extra adorable in her pajama shirt without shoes. She knew how to make me smile. "Main acha gati hoon na?"She asked innocently and I finally laughed.

"Yeah..! Very well..! Can I work in some peace?"I asked smilingly and she run towards me. Then she sat in my lap and I adjusted her close to me. She rested her head on my heart..!

"Now you can work..! I will not bother you paka..! Nandini promise..!"She said softly and I went all awe on her cuteness and pecked her forehead. Then I started working on my laptop and she cuddled herself more in me just like a baby. Almost an hour passed she didn't talked to me..! I know she was curious about Fab5 but I can't tell her...!

"Kuch kehna hai?"Finally I was fed up due to her silence and she look at me..!

"Main kuch boloon ge tou ap ko bura lag jye ga..! I can't bear your anger..! Jab ap mj say naraz hoty hain ya mj pay gusa krty hain tou mjy aisa lagta hai kay mery four sides pay andhera chaa jata hai..! Islye main ab aise koi baat nahi karo ge which offend you..!"She said so innocently that I felt like eating her alive.

"Baby..! Tum aisa q soch rahi ho? It's just bus tum fab 5 ki bary main mj say baat mat karna..! Everything else will be good..!"I said smilingly and she too smiled with that she hugged me tightly and I patted her head..!

"Bhook lagi hai..!"She said childishly making a cute pout and I smiled.

"Acha btaoa? What you want to eat?"I said tucking her messy hair behind her ear and she went in a deep thought as if really thinking what to eat? "Tum socho main email kar loon ok?"I said to her and she nodded.

"Biryani..!"Suddenly she exclaimed and I was almost scared.

"Nandu..!"I showed her eyes and she mumbled a sorry. I called Mohan and asked him for Biryani.

"Acha ab band bhi karen na..! Mj say batain karen..!"She said angrily and shut the flap of my laptop screen..! I sighed and look at her..!

"Kya batain karoon?"I said helplessly.

"Ap na bohat boring ho..!"She said angrily and got up from my lap. I held her hand to stop her but she left tapping her foot. I got up and came out of my room..! I saw Mohan coming with Nandini's Biryani dish..!

"Give it to me..!"I said to Mohan and he gave me the tray. "Mohan..! I have noticed kay Nandini slippers nahi pehnti..! I want you to make sure kay floor bilkul clean ho aur han koi bhi broken glass wagaira kuch bhi na..! I will not tolerate any scratch on her..!"I said in my bossy tone.

"You don't have to get worried Sir..! I will take care of this..!"Mohan said nodding his head and left. I walked towards Nandini's room and entered it as it was open..! I saw Nandini sitting on the floor and I sighed..! Her tantrums..!

"Baby..! Get up..! Your biryani is here..!"I said tried to cheer her up but she gave me her all time favorite deadly glare. "Tumhy ni khana?"I asked in a serious tone and she shook her head in a no. "Ok..! Na khaoa..! Main akely he kha laita hoon..!"I said naughtily and she turned her face. I sat on the chair in front of her and picked up the spoon to eat. I took the first bite and licked my lips. She look at biting her lower lip.

"Bohat tasty hai?"She asked cutely and I suppressed my smile.

"Very tasty..! You want to taste?"I asked her smilingly and she boobed her head. Oh God..! She was such a kid..! I got up from my seat with biryani plate in my hand and sat beside her on the floor. OH GOD I..! THE MANIK MALHOTRA was sitting on the floor just for his baby's happiness..! Kya kya karaye ge ya l larki mj say..! "Open your mouth..!"I said smilingly and she opened her mouth cutely. I slowly fed her and she chewed down the morsels..

"Jaisy you don't want me to angry with you na just like that I don't like your gusa..! Now come on smile for me..!"I said smilingly looking at her with so much hope.

"Phely aik promise karen?"She said crossing her arms over her chest.

"Ji princess bolain..!"I said smilingly wiping her face with a napkin and finally she smiled.

"Haan..! Ap mery sath cartoon movie dekho gay..!"She exclaimed and all the smile of my face faded away. Manik Malhotra aur Cartoon? It's like fire and ice but I know I have to do it..

"Ok done..! Main laptop lay kar ata hoon..! Tum utho bed par betho..! Floor is cold..! Bemaar ho jaoa ge..!"I finally said and made her sit on the bed. Then after sometime we were watching Tangled..! I covered ourselves with a blanket and she rested her head on my shoulder. I had a popcorn bowl in my lap and she was so much engrossed in the movie that I had to fed her the popcorn..! The movie reached to the climax and I noticed Nandini..! She was asleep...! I sighed finally she was asleep..! I carefully tucked her in bed and placed a pillow near her to which she hugged tightly. I smiled on her never ending cuteness and kissed her forehead caressing her hair.

"Good night Nandini..! Once again I will say that never get older..!"I whispered in her ear and she smiled in her sleep.. I didn't turned off all the lights as she was scared of dark but few..! Then picking up my laptop I came out of her room..! I look at my watch it was only 9 pm of night..! Hmmm..! She was a good girl haan raat ko jaldi sony wali bachy..! I thought amusingly and walked towards the lounge and saw Cabir sitting there..!

"Hay..! Tu kab aya?"I asked cheerfully and he smiled.

"1 ghanty pehly..!"He said sipping his coffee.

"Tou mjhy bula laita?"I complaint and he laughed.

"Nahi..! Mjy Mohan nay btaya kay tu Nandini kay sath movie dekh raha tou myny disturb nahi kiya.!"He said smilingly.

"Movie..! Hahaha..! Aray movie pori kahan dekhi us nay..! Interval main he so gai wo..!"I told him smiling brightly.

"Seriously Manik..! After so long tjy smile karta dekh kar bohat acha lag raha hai..!"Cabir said and I smiled again. "Manik..! Nandini ki Maa..! Actually main un kay kehny par tery pass aya hoon..! She wants to talk to you..! Phone par he..!"Cabir said and I nodded. I had asked Cabir to tell Nandini's Maa that she was with me..! Then he dialed Maa's office number and soon Maa picked up the phone. Cabir put the phone on speaker.

"Hello?" We heard Maa's ever polite voice.

"Maa..! Cabir here..! Manik ap say baat karna chahta hai..!"Cabir said to Maa and gestured me to speak up.

"Ji Maa..! Namsty..!"I started the conversation.

"Namasty..! Sada sukhi raho..! Meri Nandu kesi hai Manik?"Maa's voice was full of concern.

"Nandini bilkul theek hai Maa..!"I said smilingly.

"Dekho Manik..! Meri Nandu thori pagal hai..! Bachi hai choti si..! Us say koi galti ho jye na tou usy dant'na mat..! Myny bohat pyaar say pala hai usy..! Wo mjy sab bachoon main sab say ziada pyaari hai..!"Maa' concern was valid.

"Maa..! Ap fikar mat karo..! Main us ka bohat ziada khyaal rakhoon ga..! Usy kise cheez ki koi kami nahi ho ge..! Ap aisy samjho kay main Nandini ko adopt kar raha hoon..! Jaisy ap aur bohat say bachoon ko daity ho adoption kay liye..! Just like that..! Main bohat jald us say shadi kar loon ga..!"I tried to satisfy Maa..!

"Jeety raho..! Tumhri batoon say mjhy bara sakoon mila hai..! Meri Nandu say baat zaroor karwa daina..!"Maa said in a satisfied tone and I sighed.

"Thank you Maa..! Good night main ap say usy milwany lay aoan ga..!"I said smilingly and after greeting each other Cabir hung the call.

"Finally Mr.Malhotra responsible ho gye hain ap..! Finally ap ny family kay bary main soch he liya..!"Cabir said patting my shoulder and I smiled.

"Acha Cabir..! Aik choti si tension hai..!"I said biting my lip and he nodded his head. "Today Nandini came to know about us being a part of Fab 5..! She saw our instruments..! Poster..! Everything..! She was asking me about Jack,Tiger and Max..!"I told Cabir and he shook his head.

"Manik..!! Dekh..! Aj nahi tou kal usy sab pata chalna he tha..! You can't hide anything from her..! Wo jitne bachi hai utni he smajhdaar bhi hai..! Tu usy bta day sab..!"Cabir said in a serious tone and I shook my head in a no furiously.

"Tu pagal ho gya hai..! Us kay choty say dimaag pay apna stress daal doon..! Main usy worried nahi dekh skta..!"I said angrily.

"Fine fine..! It's all up to you..!"Cabir readily accepting my defeat. "But jab Nandu nay pocha kay sab kahan hain tou tu nay kya btaya?"Cabir asked in a serious tone.

"I said..!"I closed my eyes to console myself. "I said that they are dead..!"I finally said and as expected Cabir burst out in anger..!

"Kaminy...! Bolnay say pehly soch tou liya kar..! Theek hai tu naraz hai un sab say par..! You can't declare them as DEAD only..! You still love them..! Accept it..! Accept it that you still care for them..! Maan is baat ko tu nay abhi bhi apny cell main un sab ka photo rakha hua hai..! Accept it kay tu Fab 5 ko miss karta hai..! Accept it kay Fab 5 still means a lot to you..! Accept it kay you want Fab 5 back..! Tu chahy tou sab pehla sa ho skta hai..! Un teeno to trace karna hmry liye kuch mushkil nahi hai..! Accept it that they are alive..!"Cabir yelled angrily on top of his voice and tears brimmed in my eyes.

"Haan haan they are alive..! Jhoot bola myny Nandini say..! I accept everything..! I accept every damn thing..!"I too shouted angrily and as soon as I ended I heard a sharp gasp..! We both turned to find Nandini standing in stairs with a pillow hugged near her chest and of course with wide eyes. Pillow fell of her hands and I saw tears in her eyes..! Shit..! She heard everything..!

Chapter 10 B

Nandini's POV..

They were alive? Jack..! Max..! Tiger..! They were alive..! Manik lied to me..! Manik was considering his friends dead only..! Why? Manik look at me with helpless expressions and tears rolled of my cheeks..! So much of things Manik was hiding from me...! I run towards my room and within seconds I hide myself in the blanket.! Manik had so many mysteries inside him..! After sometime I heard Manik's heavy footsteps coming towards me..! He sat beside me on the bed and pull the blanket off my face..! I look at him with teary eyes and he wiped the tears of my cheeks. He placed that pillow beside me which I had dropped in the lounge..! He effortlessly pulled me in his lap and I look at him. He held my hands and kissed my palms..!

"Abhi tou you don't know anything about me and you are crying this much..! Jab sab jaan lo ge tab kya karo ge?"He asked in a serious tone and held back my tears.

"They are not dead na? They are alive right?"I asked between my sobs and he just nodded his head. "Where are they?"I asked again.

"I don't know..!"He whispered.

"Jhoot q bola?"I asked once more..!

"Islye bola..! Because tum ro parti ho..!"He said and again wiped my tears off my cheeks.

"Why you hate them?"I asked with a hope that maybe this time he tell me but no..!

"Baby..! Mery sath Pune chalo ge?"He changed the topic expertly. I bit my lower lip he was still not ready..! Ok..! Main music ap ki life main wapas la kar he rahoon ge..!

"Pune q?"I asked encircling my arms around his neck and he smiled.

"5-6 meetings hain..! Aik week lag jye ga..! I don't want you to leave here alone..!"He said smilingly and I too smiled.

"Okay..! Chaloon ge..! But Maa?"Suddenly I asked and he nodded his head in assurance. Then he tucked me in bed again and I soon drifted to sleep..!

"Nandini..! Jaldi karo..! We are getting late baby..!"I heard Manik shout and I immediately wore my shoes with that I run out. I was wearing a peach laced frock with a cute flower on the waist..!

I run down the stairs..

"Araam say..! Careful..!"He scolded me angrily and I reached him.

"Kesi lag rahi hoon?"I asked twriling around showing him my new frock and he smiled.

"Bohat cute..!"He said smilingly and pecked my forehead. "Abhi jaldi chalo..!"He said hurriedly picking up his blazer from the couch. I held his finger as usual and walked out with him..! We were going by road..! Thank God..! He was constantly working on his laptop and was preparing for meeting..! I was looking out of the window munching my chips..!

"Chips khayen gay?"Finally I tried to distract him..

"No baby..! Tum khaoa I am not hungry..!"He said politely and I again made a bad face..!

"Kitna kaam rehta hai?"Finally I asked as my patience was breaking all the records..!

"Abhi bohat kaam para hai..!"He again replied me softly and I sighed. Maybe he noticed that I was getting bored. He gave me his cell phone with angry birds game..!

"Lo ya khailoo..! You will enjoy it..!"He said smilingly patting my head and I became happy. For an half an hour or so I kept playing that game but eventually I got bored again. I gave him back his cell phone. "Game achi ni hai?"He said worriedly.

"Achi hai..! But I am tired now..! Myny kabhi travel nahi kiya...! I am not used to all this..! Hum kab phonchain gay..!"I said hugging his arms and rested my head on his shoulder.

"Ohh..! You are tired? Bus two hours aur..! Then we will be there..!"He said worriedly and I just hummed. I closed my eyes and felt his lips on my forehead. I smiled and unknowingly I dozed off.

"Nandu..! Open your eyes baby we are here..!" I heard Manik's voice and I sleepily opened my eyes. I look at him and he smiled. "Get up..!"He held my hand and helped me to get down off the car. "I have a meeting in the hall of this hotel..! You want to join me?"He asked smilingly and I nodded. But before that I wanted to use washroom.

"Mjy bathroom jana hai..!"I said to him and he pointed me towards the washrooms.

"Main wait kar raha hoon tmhara take your time..!"He said to me and sat in hotel lobby. I noddingly came towards bathrooms. I washed my face and washed my hands. I was about to pull out the tissue papers from the box when suddenly a boy too pulled out the tissue at same time. I angrily look at him and I was shocked..!

"Jack..!"I whispered and he look at me on hearing his name.

"Hi..! Pretty lady what's up?"He said smilingly and I was shocked on my place..!HE WAS JACK...! I GOT A FLICKERING FLAME...! I CAN BRING FAB 5 BACK..!

Ok..! So here is the update..! Jaldi jaldi likhi hai..! I hope pasand aye sab ko..! Silent readers..! Taliyaaann..!👏 I mean like seriously..! Kaisy kar laity ho? Zara sharam ni ati na? Khair..! I will try to update once in a week..! But yeah all I can say kay I can't quit writing so easily..! It's been four months since I am writing on this forum..! Itna easily main quit nahi kar paoan ge..! Studies bhi karon ge but yeah will try to write for sure..! Ok..! So now..! JACK is here..! Jack is here you Max aur Tiger bhi hoon gay of course..!
