😃Hello all, sorry for being this much late..I am going to update Part 10. But before that here is a quick recap of all the previous chapters, for your convenience.

{{PART 1 RECAP: Pune based industrialist, Niranjan Agnihotri asks his younger son, Shlok to get married to (his Business Partner and friend) Avdhoot's daughter Swati and he agrees. Their engagement is fixed on the next Sunday which was only 6 days later. (Shlok's mother Anjali had died in a Bus accident when she had gone for a religious pilgrimage with her parents. It had happened when Shlok and Varad were kids. ) His elder son, Varad and his wife Mansi, who stays in Mumbai and works in the media field, decides to visit Bangalore for an important meeting. They drop their two mischievous sons Rahul (9 years old) and Dhruv (8 years old) at the Agnihotri Mansion in Pune. Rahul and Dhruv are good friends with Shlok. Next day Aastha arrives at the Mansion with a small girl and claims that she and Shlok were in a romantic relationship and the girl Kavya was Shlok's daughter}}

{{PART 2 RECAP: Niranjan believes Aastha that she was Shlok's girlfriend in the past and he even decides to conduct a DNA test to confirm whether Kavya is Shlok's daughter but only after consulting with Varad who will be arriving back after a week. He asks Aastha and Kavya to stay at his house till then. He also postpones Shlok's and Swati's engagement.
Shlok sits in his office and has flashbacks about how he had tried to woo Aastha seven years back in their college days, about why Aastha had slapped him in front of the whole college and the way he apologized to Aastha in the college assembly. }}

{{PART 3 RECAP: Shlok feels that he is in love with Aastha. Aastha also realizes that she loves Shlok. In the College Holi celebration, Shlok and Aastha apply color upon each other. In the evening Aastha accompanies Shlok to the coffee shop. Both of them wishes to confess their love towards each other, but circumstances don't allow. Aastha gets a call from her home and she leaves from there saying Bye to Shlok}}

{{PART 4 RECAP: Sitting in his office, Shlok remembers the way Aastha proposed to him at a party by singing "Pehla Nasha" for him. He also remembers the way she had left the place, without a proper explanation, only leaving a note for him, which read "Shlok, Don't search for me..I am going..Sorry..But we were never meant to be.."
Shlok wonders why she is back in his life again, that too with a girl child, whom she is claiming to be their daughter.
He gets drunk and goes to her room late night and questions her about this. She doesn't answer him properly and again replies on his face that "I know I did the right thing, Shlok..! And as I told you in that note, we were never meant to be.."
He felt bad and said that he hates Aastha and he promises her that he will surely prove that the girl was not their daughter. Then he leaves her room without a backwards glance.}}

{{PART 5 RECAP: Shlok decides that he will find out about Aastha's reasons for coming back. He asks Rahul and Dhruv to spy on Aastha while Shlok and Niranjan will be away at office. Both of them become friends with Kavya. Rahul searches Aastha's belongings for any clue or proof against her. But he does not get anything. They like Aastha and Kavya very much and they decide to make Shlok and Aastha fall in love again.}}

{{PART 6 RECAP: Rahul and Dhruv convince Shlok that he needs to befriend Aastha, so that he can keep a close eye on her. For that they invite Kavya to their room and ask Shlok to be nice to her. Shlok immediately falls in love with the cute little girl, who somehow reminds him of Aastha. As per the boys anticipated, Aastha also comes to their room in search of Kavya. Later, the boys add vodka to Aastha's and Shlok's drinks and they feel lightheaded and tipsy. The boys take Kavya out of the room with the excuse of playing hide and seek, leaving the ex-lovers alone in the room. Aastha and Shlok laugh a lot and then Shlok confesses that he missed her a lot. Aastha pulls his cheeks, then kisses on his nose and tells him that she too missed him.}}

{{PART 7 RECAP: Shlok and Aastha kiss each other, under the effect of vodka which was mixed in their drinks by Rahul and Dhruv. They hug each other and then reality hits them when they hear the kids' noise.
Shlok and Aastha return to their rooms after that. Shlok first feels happy that she still loves him and then he hatefully thinks that it's not going to make any difference now. Aastha thinks that the kiss was a mistake, which should not have happened and tries to remind herself that she has come for a reason and a relationship with Shlok was not even in her list.
Shlok is affected by Aastha's presence and he keeps thinking about her even at the office. Feeling disturbed by this fact, he decides to keep her away from his life.
Meanwhile the kids ask Aastha to cook dinner for all of them including Shlok also, so that they can have dinner together without Niranjan, who was having a business dinner to attend that night. }}

{{PART 8 RECAP: Shlok enjoys having the dinner cooked by Aastha and he tries to be nice with her. Aastha cannot resist his charm and she fails to hide her feelings which didn't go unnoticed by Shlok. He asks her to go to sleep and takes Kavya with him to the boys. When he comes back to Aastha's bedroom with an already asleep Kavya, he notices Aastha who was lying on her bed. He gets attracted to her and tries to caress her cheek. Aastha feels his touch in her sleep holds his hand calling out his name dreamily. He kisses her lips passionately and Aastha responds back with equal ardor. He stops kissing her when he comes to his senses and leaves the room. Feeling bereft, Aastha wakes up from her sleep and thinks that it was indeed a dream.}

{{PART 9 RECAP: Shlok feels guilty that he took advantage of her sleepy state and kissed her. Then he realizes that he still desires for her and can never forget her. He decides to propose her for marriage saying that he will accept Kavya, even though she is not his real daughter. Feigning head ache, he does not go to office with his Baba. Later he calls Aastha to the terrace and questions her about why she left him seven years ago. She gets really upset and refuses to answer his questions. He gets angry and shouts at her saying that she is being cruel to him, while he still loves her. }}

PART 10

Sh: (shouts into her frightened face) WHY DID YOU COME BACK THEN, IF YOU THINK THAT WE WERE NEVER MEANT TO BE..? I LOVE YOU AASTHAAA..WHY DON'T YOU GET THAT..? ARE YOU DEAF..? OR ARE YOU SO HEARTLESS, AASTHA..WHAT DID I DO TO DESERVE THIS..? YOU CAN'T DO THIS TO ME ALWAYS..

Shlok stopped shouting and Aastha could feel his voice still ringing inside her ears. Slowly, she opened her eyes and saw that he was crying silently. Tears were streaming down his eyes, which were shut tightly to her.

Aastha felt really bad when she saw him in that condition. Before she knew it, her petite hands rose and brushed aside the tear streaks from his cheeks. Shlok opened his eyes and gazed at her like a stubborn child. Sobbing softly, Aastha was gazing into his eyes with a helpless expression. She started to speak slowly and soothingly as if she was a mother trying to pacify her son.

As: Shlok..Please don't ask me anything..If you love me so much, please try to understand me..You won't like the reason why I left you, Shlok..Even I don't like it..

She looked away, feeling lost in another world.

Shlok was shocked at her answer. He felt confused and stared at her in an unbelievable way. Becoming impatient, he caught her chin and turned her face towards his face.

Sh: Whatever it is, Aastha..I will hear it patiently..If there is anything I can change, I am ready to do it, Aastha..Together we can make all the difference which is needed in our relationship..I will never give you any reason for you to leave me again Aastha..Please, just tell me..
Aastha remained silent and didn't budge. She was still lost in that strange world, even if she was looking into his face, her eyes were devoid of any expression.

Taking his hands off her, Shlok clenched his fists and looked away angrily. But he wanted to get to the bottom of this. He wanted to know the secret she was hiding and he knew that he needed to control his anger.

He tried to calm down himself. It took some seconds for him to become normal again. He raised his hands and placed them on her shoulders gently. His voice was soft and caring when he spoke to her.

Sh: Ok Aastha..Let's leave the past behind..We can start afresh..Are you ready to give our relationship another chance..For a start, let us be just friends..I care for you Aastha..I know there is a lot of pain inside your heart..

Aastha's eyes got back their life and she blinked innocently at him
.
Sh: (continues)... I just want to say that I will always be there for you..

He raised his right hand and touched her soft cheek affectionately and Aastha felt a warm feeling spread inside her heart. She nodded with a slightly happy face and hugged him. Pressing her cheek on his chest, she whispered softly.

As: Thank you, Shlok..

Shlok smiled joyfully and hugged her back pressing his chin on top of her head.

Rather hastily, Aastha detached herself from his embrace and stood back with an embarrassed smile. Shlok grinned at her response and patted her cheek with affection.

As: (nervously) Err..Shlok..I am going downstairs, Kavya might be looking for me.

Sh: Yeah, Sure..(smiling widely)

Aastha nodded and she turned back from him and started to walk towards the terrace door. As Shlok watched her go, he hugged himself with real joy and thumped his fist up into the air. He controlled his excitement and whispered to himself.

Sh: Aastha..Finally, everything is going to be alright in our life. I can see that you are also getting affected by my presence. I know you still have feelings for me, but some major reason is preventing you from being mine. That I will find out soon. And I promise you Aastha, that no one can stop us from becoming one.

Meanwhile, Aastha was climbing down the staircase from the terrace and she had a smile on her lovely face. She thought, "Thank you Shlok, thank you for making things easier for me. I still love you a lot, but I can never be yours. So by offering a hand of friendship, you just made sure that I can be nice to you. Trust me, I was not at all enjoying being rude you when I came here. I know I have always hurt you, in the past and now in the present." But suddenly her smile faded as if remembering something. "But realizing that you still love me, I don't know till how long I will be able to stop myself. No, I must control my feelings. I need to complete my mission and go away from here as soon as possible. Far away from you..really really far. " She felt her eyes fill with tears again and hastily wiped them away, before entering the kids' room.

There she saw that Rahul and Dhruv were helping Kavya to color in a Kids coloring book.

Ra: Kavya, color that space in blue..here take it.

He tossed the blue crayon to her. Kavya took it and began to color with it, when Dhruv kept his hand on hers.

Dh: You have to shade like this, Kavya. (moving her hand smoothly)
Aastha couldn't help smiling when she saw the cute bonding between the kids. She decided not to disturb them and walked away from their room.

Meanwhile, Shlok had also reached his room. He had a plan in his mind to make Aastha realize her true feelings towards him. He was watching Aastha secretly from behind the door. He had removed his t-shirt which he was wearing earlier and was now clad in a black vest.

He knew that she had to pass his room's door to reach the staircase leading downstairs. When he saw her coming out of the kids' room, he opened his cupboard, grabbed a formal shirt quickly and started to button it up. When he reached the middle button he pulled it off from the shirt forcefully so that, when Aastha passed along his door step, he swore loudly.

Sh: Oh!! DAMN..!

As expected, Aastha stopped in her tracks out of curiosity and looked into his room. Shlok acted as if he didn't notice her and bent down towards the floor as if he was searching for the lost button. She noticed that his shirt was half open, and she could see a spread of chest hair peeking out of his black color vest. A sudden image of her lips on his chest came into her mind and her cheeks flushed at the thought. She shook off her imagination and blurted out.

As: Shlok..Is everything alright..?

Sh:(looks up) Ya..Ya..it's nothing..My shirt button just fell down..(sees it and picks it up) Yes..Got it..!

Shlok stood up and Aastha watched him place his button on its correct position on his shirt placket.

Sh: Oh no..! Now how to sew this..!

Aastha let out an impatient sigh and walked towards him.

As: Here give it to me. I will sew it to your shirt. Can you tell me where I can get a needle and thread.

Sh: Ok..one second..I will get it..

Placing the button in Aastha's hand, Shlok walked out of his room and Aastha was left alone to gaze around his room. She walked towards his bed and imagined him sleeping on it. She sat down on it and touched his bed with her soft palm. She patted her hand along its length with a surge of love and affection warming her heart. A sudden image of her lying on his bed and her fingers clasping this bed sheet while she writhed under his body popped uninhibited into her mind's eye. Aastha suddenly gulped at her bold thoughts and took off her hand from his bed as if feeling scorched.

Just then, Aastha heard Shlok's footsteps and she stood up abruptly. Shlok came inside and handed her the needle and thread. Shlok's sudden proximity didn't help at all and she was looking everywhere except into his eyes. Nervously, Aastha moved towards Shlok and her fingers fumbled over Shlok's shirt edge. The button was about to slip from her hand and Shlok suddenly caught hold of the button and his hand grasped Aastha's hand too in the process. His touch made Aastha gasp and their eyes met instantly both of them were lost in the moment's magic.

But, Aastha pulled herself back from the eye lock, mumbling a vague "sorry" and concentrated instead onto the button which she was supposed to stitch. I her mind, she scolded herself, "Concentrate Aastha..Why did you agree to help him with this..It's your fault..Now do your work fast and escape from here as soon as possible..This closeness is not going to help you.."
Taking a long steady breath, she composed herself and started to sew in the button rather carefully.

Shlok was aware of Aastha's nervousness and it made him smile. He was regarding her actions with interest. Aastha was finding it difficult not to stare onto his chest which was visible through the deep neckline of his vest. The strong masculine smell combined with a soothing cologne scent which was emanating from his body was not helping either. Finally it was time to cut the thread off the stitched button. She looked up at Shlok and stuttered.

As: Err..Shlo-ok ..I..I need to cut this thread off..Shall I d-do it with my te-teeth.

Sh:(coolly)Ya ya..why not..?

Shyly, Aastha bent her face forward and opened her mouth to bite off the loose end of the thread. Then she stepped backward hastily, and the relief was quite evident on her face.

As: I am done..

Sh:(smiles widely)Thank you Aastha..

It was then that Aastha realized something else.

As: Are you going somewhere, Shlok..? Why did you change your t-shirt..?

Sh: Yes Aastha..Office..I had lied to my Baba that I am having a head ache, just so that I can have a talk with you..So now that I have talked with you, I am going to office..I am going to tell him that I feel ok now.
Aastha was surprised by his answer didn't know what to say and so she replied.

As: Oh..!

Shlok walked toward his wardrobe and took out a matching suit and put it on. He was checking his reflection in the mirror and was buttoning it up. Aastha watched him in awe and was struck by how handsome he looked just then. She thought, "Shlok, how I wish you were my husband !..I have never met a man like you..! But, I know that I can never be truly yours because I can never marry you.." With that thought, her eyes were again filled with tears and she decided to leave from the room before her heart change its decision.

As: Shlok..
Sh:(turning towards her)Hmm..
As: I am going downstairs..Bye..
Sh: Hey wait..Let's go together..I am ready..

Shlok walked towards her with brisk footsteps and faced her. He noticed tears in her doe like eyes and his face fell immediately.

Sh:(soft voice) Hey..Aastha..

He cupped her face with his hands and watched her with a troubled look. Shlok's concern caused Aastha's tears to overflow and they streamed down her soft cheeks. Shlok wiped them off with his thumbs carefully and looked into her eyes.

Sh:(caring voice) What happened..? Are you ok..?
As: (tries to compose herself) It's nothing Shlok..

She grasped his both wrists and gently made a gesture to take his hands off her face.

As:(looking at the floor, says calmly ) I am fine..Let's go downstairs..

Reluctantly, Shlok's hands left her face and she tried to turn away from him to walk off. But Shlok was not ready to leave the matter.

Sh: (impatiently)Aastha..I know that you are not ok..Something is troubling you..

Aastha, who had reached near the door, stopped in her tracks, but didn't answer. Feeling impatient, Shlok moved closer, caught hold of her shoulders and turned her body around to face him. When he gazed into her painful eyes with care and concern, Aastha shut her eyes tightly unable to bear her feelings towards this beautiful man. Shlok pulled her into a warm embrace and Aastha couldn't control her feelings anymore. She hugged him tightly as if her life depended on it.

As:(whispered into his chest) I am really really sorry Shlok.. I had given you so much pain..Please forgive, me..

Shlok clutched her to his heart even more tightly. His one hand caressed her hair and gently patted along consolingly..

Sh: Shhh..Aastha..It's ok..Let's forget it all..I told you..I still care for you a lot..

Aastha raised her face towards him and regarded him with love filled eyes. Shlok's passionate gaze travelled from her eyes to her lips, which had turned red and a little swollen from crying. Instinctively, she gasped and raised her parted lips to him and Shlok didn't wait anymore. The kiss was soft and soothing, and Aastha basked in its warmth. She raised her hands towards his back head and her fingers clutched his hair. This made, Shlok deepen his kiss and Aastha responded with much need. Shlok sucked in her upper lip and Aastha his lower lip. Both their bodies were charged with immense desire for each other. Their tongues were entwined and Shlok's palm grazed along her side neck and down to her breast. His raw touch, made her shudder and she gasped into his mouth. Shlok groaned with pure pleasure and immediately shut the door and locked it with a free hand. Then he pinned Aastha to the wall and placed kiss after kiss along her throat, with one hand supporting her waist and other hand stroking her swollen breast. Aastha could not stop herself and she yielded completely under Shlok's voracious lovemaking, seven years of pent up feelings and passion for each other. She never wanted him to stop and neither did he want this to stop. He claimed her mouth again with increased ardor and Aastha caressed his hand, which was fondling her both breasts one after the other. Her lips left his mouth and eagerly proceeded downwards towards his neck and started to place soft yet passionate kisses all over. She bent down and grazed her lips along his chest.

As:(whispers softly) Shlok..I still love you..

Even though he didn't want to stop ,Shlok realized that she was in a vulnerable condition and he didn't want her to regret all this later. So he hugged her tightly and kissed her forehead.

Sh: I love you too, Aastha..

Aastha felt a special feeling of protection inside his arms. In her serene mind, she debated whether to talk to him about everything which was troubling her mind. But she was not sure, how he would respond after knowing the truth. But still a strong voice inside her heart was urging her to speak out her problems to him. So she decided to seize the chance.

As: Shlok..I need to talk to you..

Shlok realized that the time has come, for him to know her secret.

shlok wanted astha 2 disclose d truth 2 him.but she wasnt willing.loved him saying that then they will start a new life without knowing d truth.button scene was so romantic.why aastha says that she can never marry shlok n be with him?finally aastha decided 2 tell him d truth.will she be able 2 confess him d truth?does shlok think that there was another man in aastha's life ie kavya's real father?
