After explaining Payal about what she has to do, Khushi cut the call and collapsed on the floor as the pain over took the strength of her knees which soon gave away.
" With what right had I thought that Arnav would not have another girl in his life when I destroyed his love for me 6 years back. With what right did I think that Arnav would be still in love with me and would not have moved on. With what right had I expected Arnav to be waiting for me. " Tears flowed from her eyes as the memories of their beautiful past flooded in her eyes. After all, the sweet memories sometimes were more painful than the bitter memories.
" Arnav, I can let you go only after I find out that girl actually deserves you. Till I find out that she is right for you and deserves your love, I will have to interfere in your life." Khushi wiped the stream of tears flowing from her eyes as she started her car to go to her office. After all, she was very much needed there too being the 50% share holder.

Evening, Shantivan,
Akash had come to know of the truth of Arnav and Khushi's marriage courtesy Payal, who had included him in her and Khushi's plan so that the plan can be more successful.
" Akash, it is high time we give a party for us being together. I mean we have been delaying this since so long." Payal intentionally spoke loudly so that Arnav could hear her talking. Since everyone else had gone for a Satsang as they felt their peace being snatched away since Khushi entered their lives again, no one would mind Payal speaking loudly.
" But Payal, try to understand. I have loads and loads of work at office and if I don't work Arnav Bhai will fire me from the job." Akash too tried speaking loudly as Khushi was signing him to but the Akash who was used to being calm and composed couldn't actually be loud even if he wanted to.
" Who will dare to fire my dear JI-JA-JI, Payal! Akash you will have to give us a party and that's final." Khushi, who was always extremely loud and outspoken didn't find it hard to announce it loud enough that Arnav had to come down to see what the commotion actually was.
As Akash saw Arnav walking towards them with a straight face, with almost no expressions in his usually expressive eyes, Akash went to Arnav with progressively long strides and pulled Arnav along with to Khushi and Payal, while saying,
" Bhai, now you only handle these two ladies. They are pestering me to organize a party as I have never actually thrown a party after me and Payal got engaged. And I have so much of work to do."
" Work is worship, Akash. But that doesn't mean that you will ignore your love's demands for it. And whom are you asking to convince us? This unromantic Arnav Singh Raizada? Obviously he will take your side, but we will not stop pestering you till you throw a party." Khushi complained knowing that if anyone challenges Arnav, he surely takes it up and proves the other person wrong. How she wished that she would be proven wrong that he has some other girl in his life?
Jerking away the painful thoughts, Khushi tried to concentrate on Arnav's expressions which were undergoing some rapid changes. An infuriated and challenged Arnav couldn't help but fall to Khushi's trap.
" Actually they are right, Akash. You need to throw a party in Payal's honor. And haan, make sure that the dress code is red and the decorations are made in the most romantic way possible so that some people can understand how ROMANTIC the Raizadas are." Arnav spoke through gritted teeth as he eyed at Khushi with the same teasing glint which was present in his eyes, 6 years back.
" Sure, Bhai. As you say." Akash awkwardly spoke to his brother who was completely lost in his sister-in-law.
" Arnav, bring along your ladylove to the party! Or else you may feel a lack of company around!" joked Payal, going by Khushi's plan to know who is the girl in Arnav's life.
To say that Arnav was shocked would have been underestimation of the tumultuous storm of feelings he was undergoing, with Khushi watching his every expression intently. Soon he deciphered the main intention behind Payal asking him about his ladylove.
" Payal, my ladylove is right here even now.", said Arnav while everyone's eyes turned saucers listening to him but only hurt remained for Khushi when he completed his statement, " I mean that my ladylove is there in my heart, my thoughts always. So there is no question of me being ever alone, because her mere thoughts are enough for me to lead my life forever."
As Arnav completed his statement, he staged a walkout from Shantivan, while Khushi collapsed on the floor.

" My Arnav is no longer mine. He is so deeply in love with someone else. Who is that lucky girl? Once, just once if I can meet her, I will leave from Arnav's life forever, making space for his ladylove." Khushi's pain was something which had crossed the limit of control, as she broke into hysterical sobs while clutching her knees to her heart, as she felt a part of herself being snatched away from her while Payal and Akash stood as the mere spectators to the whole situation.
Their hearts had met only to be separated by the destiny which loved to see the conflict in between love and pain. The bond of love in between them was created, only that it could be strengthened by their separations and pain. Payal and Akash could just pray that Khushi's immense love for Arnav should not turn into a dark tunnel of pain or the dead end of her life. But will their prayers be answered?

Outside Shantivan,
" Why Khushi? Why are you doing all this? And how could I touch her so intimately when I am not even sure about my feelings for her. My mind says that if I trust her, I will only find my heart broken once again and this time I will not be able to survive. But my heart says that she still cares for me somewhere deep inside her heart and that heart of hers beats for me. Whom should I believe and why should I?" There was no strength remaining in Arnav to take the risk of finding his heart broken once again by the person whom he once loved more than himself.
Will Arnav be able to love Khushi again? And who was the lady in Arnav's farmhouse, whom he loved so much?
