Jenny, is it time for a teaser?

Jenny sending you a BIG virtual hug🤗, as I have no other way of telling you how happy I am right now. This chapter is MAGIC !! ❤️ I was completely spellbound by the stunning visuals, the lively banter between lovers, the vows of timeless commitment, the passion of unfettered hearts and the euphoric feeling of unconditional love. 👏

You, my friend are a master storyteller... you have embellished your narrative with breathtaking landscapes, the spectacle of a local carnival and above all the pure and essential essence of love and relationship. The vivid, striking imagery of Mirzapur had me wishing I too was there alongside our darling couple Arnav/Khushi enjoying the pageantry of the local fair, savoring the mouthwatering Bhojpuri food and touring the majestic Chunar fort. 👍🏼

For me the validation of Arnav/Khushi's vows of eternal love and commitment came from the heavens above. The claps of thunder "applause", streaks of lightning "fireworks" and raindrops "a shower of divine blessings"- all in celebration of their impassioned union

Jenny, you have done a brilliant job penning their fiery and intense union... just the perfect mix of passion, steaminess and oomph !! 😉 An exquisite culmination of a day filled with playfulness, merriment, optimism and contentment.

Where's Dr. Raizada going?? I thought he was on sabbatical !!

Where do I begin...to write all the thoughts I have about this chapter...here goes.😊

Vows, Validations, Rituals, Rights, Customs, Traditions, Values, Wants, Desires, Beliefs, Emotions, Family, Society, etc., like it or not, they exist and in one way or another affects each one of us by the choices and decisions we make. We stumble, fall, rise and strive to find love, happiness, success and fulfillment in various relationships we share. Life is a learning process and there is no end date to achieve nirvana. Key is to remember to be flexible to accepting change, making transitions, shifting thoughts, or moving on from an emotional state so as not to interfere with everyday functioning,

Khushi and Arnav have grown significantly, their path to this day has been difficult, but their love for each other guided them to overcome fears, insecurities and doubts.
Their day started with clear skies, sunshine, ease and comfort. Loved their easy conversation from a henna sealed "A for Arnav" to remembering Aarav with a smile, a peppy poem "Proof" - Why should mortals wonder if God hears prayers? recited by Khushi to a witty response by Arnav "...have miles to go before we sleep". Ahhh...let's not forget the light humid breeze from the distant Vindhyas range that reached them.😃

Mirzapur festivites Lohandi Mela (big attraction is tattoo design stalls), Jalebis, who's the boss guidelines , notorious shopping, a maroon stole, lunch, Hanuman temple and finally the last stop on the itinerary, Chunar Fort.

The Chunar Fort, an imposing red sandstone structure, on a steep cliff on the southern bank of River Ganga, with awe inspiring views of the river from it's stone lattices and terraces on the North, has a rich history dating back from King Vikramaditya to Mughal empire to British rule but, as Arnav and Khushi soon discovered, it wasn't maintained in the manner it rightfully deserved.

"There are talks of ASI, The Archeological Survey Of India, working on the process to reclaim the fort", Arnav said, looking up from an article on his phone. Sunlight filtered in through a latticed window and caught the caramel of his eyes. It also reflected off of the mirrors on Khushi's stole and covered him with light circles.
Khushi barely heard what he said. She was mesmerized by a glimpse of something rare in his eyes. Serenity. Yes, because he has a cosmic connection of the fort. 😃
An impulse hug and sheer happiness for both, walk up the stairwell to the filmy "Titanic" moment. Bells tolling at the temple for a mass wedding, each couple waiting their turn for the seven pheras, vows taken for seven lifetimes.

Jen, you penned the entire Chunar Fort visit perfectly and I had my perfect high. While you wrote about the real Fort, my mind was on the mystical Anand Vilas Palace, Moti Mahal, Crescent Lake, pigeons, peacocks, terraces, moonlight reflections, etc. to include societal/familial rejection of a love, steadfast defiance for that which matters, the eternal Soulmate, an eternal yearning, to claim, protect that which is theirs. The mass wedding of the many depicts one marriage repeated in every mortal lifetime for Khushi and Arnav. You, Jen sneaky clever, Arnav's witty comment to Astha about moving to Utah with both, the Vindhyas breeze reaching them lightly at the dhaba, another little soul touching them softly, civil noncooperation to the British Rule, a doll, the Lounge, a pick up rejected, a son always his came to him late, a cemetery...hmm.. I am in romance heaven.

Vows, Validations, private, personal or public.
Arnav's opinion, perhaps tainted by a deceit, but I believe it is based on what he truly has faith and trust in. Honesty of the heart and mind along with his pride will not allow him to break his vows to love, cherish and protect...eternally forever...his love..his Khushi.
Khushi's acceptance of him is the only validation that matters to him.
Loved the "noose" comment...you remembered Jen. 😆

Khushi's opinion, acknowledged and respected because it is important to her. Khushi is about a "wedding" which is all inclusive of vows, validations, rituals, signatures, family and society. We know that Arnav will happily comply with Khushi's wish and there will be a wedding, but not just for that reason, he does need signatures "...admittedly necessary at times," for legal purposes. He has a legacy to protect.
Most important to me is the very mature and compassionate way both carried out this sensitive conversation. They listened to each other and respected each other's opinions. I felt the acute concern Arnav felt at the moment Khushi paused and he quickly assured her of his feelings by a gentle touch and soft words...a proposal. This time she accepted without needing a "hindi" version.
This day is too important and neither one is going to rock it with unimportant thoughts. The happy selfie marks the end of a most memorable trip, a date to remember, important simple questions, hearts laid bare and it may not appear too obvious, but the vows of the seven pheras were implied in all the activities of the trip that ultimately ended in a "thunderous" union, many rainfalls, many moons. 😉

A union, unlike previous love making, this was different. This was about possessing, passion, uninhibited surrender, acceptance, reassurance, intense pleasure... ultimate release for both ...@#$%...yes...yes...yes!!
Toe nibbling ...ooo baby!! 😛😛😛

Back to earth..., but I am still connecting the dots. 😉😉

Almost forgot...very important ...this day started with Maasi, Bhua and Isha helping Khushi plan the day. Awesome I say!
