Well I can bout myself there r no rules in my family to go to mom's place after delivery .. So was not allowed.. But if someone has asked me I would hav loved to go!!
I did after one month as I hav a c- section and it requires rest for bout 2 months .. But first month was in in laws only ... Hmmm we hav some religious things also every now n then after child birth! Although I don't know bout Iyer tradition.

Thank you I mentioned that point coz off late it's been my saviour and I can very well relate to it, like if your dude smells homely it's so desi desi and real wala feel, coz dudes smelling dusky lemony citrusy is so over rated and hyped and so dreamy but this is reality, maybe their maybe men who smell good but for me it's a fantasy as of now
