CHAPTER 3-Alice stood outside the room of ishani.though she had been very confident and determined when she had left study room,now when she had finally reached here,she had began to wonder how she was going start the topic then.asking straight-forward about something that gives u pain is a rude way and she knew that if her initial guess happens to be right then it was going to be worst way to know her past.at the same time she also felt uneasy thinking that if her guess is right then her past life will come more clearly to her.
She stood there like that for some time .she had to do it today as she wanted ishani to overcome her past and live a new happy life,nd unless she knew about her past she would not be able to help her.besides it had always hurted her whenever she had watched someone in pain due to love.she took a deep breath and sighed.she had to do it today right now,and that would be good for both of them,she thought.
Ishani was feeling uneasy that evening.it was as if something was wrong,but then she had thought everything had gone so wrong in past that now no wrong could affect her anymore.after taking dinner with alice and lily,and talking for a while first with lily about various unimp things that friends often speak and then with alice about the accounts she had been facing little problem handling with,she had returned to her room.it was since then she had tried to sleep as she didn't wanted to think about anything now,but like always sleep didn't came to her.she waked up from bed and started pacing in room restlessly.
"Why she was even thinking of something like that??everything around her had been going quite finely,except her off course but then she knew it was never going to be fine with her.her sorrow had ripped apart all her happiness.only she had known then how she had survived for 6 months after his death. It was worst period of her life.she had to behave rudely to both families,giving them impression that since now ranveer was no more,she is only after money.
Thiking about his death again stirred her wound and her pain grew more intense.she forced herself to take out registers of NGO's accounts that had tobe completed and tried to cocentrate over them.
It was then alice came into the room.she watched ishani hopelessly trying to read registers but her eyes were full of tears and alice quickly understood what ishani was trying to do.
"you will need this if u really wanted to even read it properly"
Ishani was taken aback by this sudden appearance.she quickly looked up and half consiously accepted tissue paper offered by alice.
"I...i didn't heard u coming." she tried to cover it up knowing that it was a lame attempt to do so.
"its ok dear .but you also know that surely i would like to ask you the reason behind it" alice hadn't thought that she would get such chance to start the topic but she was now glad that she hadn't changed her mind.
Ishani now controlled herself nd stopped crying .alice looked sympathetically towards her.she made ishani sat on bed nd sat on side of her patting her back.
"you should stop punishing urself for the past .past is the past nd we should let it be past,not make it cause of suffering in present,ishani"
"you wouldn't understand it,i mean its a really very complicated nd long story then.u must listen it from beginning to understand it"
"i am ready dear,i was ready the moment i saw you first time!!u could tell me"
"sorry but... but i don't think i would be able to tell u story,it will be like living it once more and thats what i have been avoiding so far,besides will u be able to understand it?i have dreadfull past and yes nonthless to say a sad one.i dont think u will quite understand it"
"I know ur fear of recalling past but ishani avoiding ur past does't make us forget it,confronting it and accepting it does make.this pain is neccesary to came at terms at everything that have happened and this is what u needs most now,and let me make it clear that i would completely understand u no matter what had happened before"
Ishani took deep breath and started telling alice her story from her childhood,about how she and he had became best friends,how she had misunderstood him and he was thrown out,about how he had returned nd how they had got married in a strange situation.
She told alice everything upto her return from jail.
"oh,honey what happened then?i wish u had asked him openly for marriaging someone else"
"i thought he was happy nd then i met someone who was lawyer,he had saved me,nd we eventually became friends.it was at his sister's engagement with my brother when she tried to kill my mother but fortunately my mother survived by inch,then everyone came to know that i was alive .i had to tell him that i never loved me and to prove that i became ready to marry my friend.it was on the day of his marriage i came to know about her real intentions"
Ishani then told everything upto exposure of her by him.she suddenly stoped then reliving her past days.she looked guiltyly to alice and said"would u mind if i tell u what happened after that later.i know that i am being a coward now but i think i need some more time to think clearly about it"
"well if thats what u wish then i will not force u,but i would just advice u that earlier u decided to let it came out less painful it will be"
Alice slowly rose from bed nd left room silently thinking over what ishani had just told her.she had never had thought about such complicated turns nd up nd downs that could take place in one's life.
Ishani felt like she was being torned thousand times a second,she still was reliving those moments,she silentely lied down on bed nd let herself flow with the pain.soon sleep crept over her unknowingly.
Completed it at last!!!tomatoes nd chappals r welcome as this is a lame chpter,i will reveal what happened then after some time,so u will have to wait for some more chapters,sorry for such a boring chapter!will update next as soon as possible nd it will be lot better than this.
