- Chapter Four -
She was staring into space, thinking over her the sudden happenings in her life. In 5 months her life had changed, completely. Her sister tanya died and she got married to rey for little rihaan. And now, she had decided to give this marriage a chance, accept him as her husband but will their marriage work? Their marriage is neither arranged or love, It's a marriage of convenience, where they had no feelings for each other.
"You have decided to give this marriage a chance then now, don't thinking too much over it. Go with the flow, and everything will fall in place itself." Her inner voice spoke, and somewhere she too agreed with herself. And she decided to not to think about it.
"Taani-" His voice broke her trance, she looked up and her gaze met with his, his gaze was visible soften when he gazed down at her.
"Get ready, I'm taking you & rihaan out for dinner." Rey said to her, from past few days in delhi had been quiet busy for him and in this, he wasn't able to spend time with his wife & son but today, he return back home early from work so that he could spend time with his family.
"If you are tired then we can go tomorrow." Taani told him. He had just return back and he look tired.
"No, Taani. I'm alright. And I'll feel good when i will spend time with you both." Replied rey, smiling down at her softly. Taani nodded when she saw that he really wants to go out. She smiled and got up from bed.
"Aap fresh ho jaaiye, I'll take out your clothes." Taani said to him, Rey nodded positively in response. Taani walked over the bed and took out his clothes and a simple yet elegant dress for herself. It was first they are going out for dinner together and she wants to look good, for him.
Taking towel from her, Rey went inside the washroom to take shower, and in the mean time, Taani changed into her dress and got little rihaan ready who was laying in the middle of the bed, playing the small soft toy.

With towel wrapped around his waist, he stepped out of the washroom, he smile seeing his son playing on bed, giggling to himself. Rey let his gaze roam across the room then finally settled over a familiar figure, there she stood before the mirror looking so beautiful, he was left mesmerized by her beautiful, She took his breath away. She was looking gorgeous in that red dress, her waist long length hair open added more sparks into her beauty.
Taani smiled shyly at his direction, She blushed noticing his penetrating gaze roaming over her form. Rey walked toward her and stand behind her. Unknowingly, he admired their reflection in mirror. They looked perfect, standing together.
"You are looking beautiful, taani." Rey whispered softly. Taani lifted her gaze and stare at him through the mirror. She blushed realizing how close they were and he was still half naked, a towel wrapped around his waist.
Rey noticed her mangalsutra laying on dressing table, he bend and picked it up in his hand. Her heart rate picked up, he was so close to her, his breath tickling over her neck. She smiled softly as he made her wear her mangalsutra.
"Now you look perfect." Rey compliment, admiring her. Her face had the natural glow. They looked into each other's eyes, it was first time they are so close to each other. Attraction was forming up between them with strange emotions that are yet to recognize.
Their trance broken with little rihaan's cries. Rey stepped back from her, they both moved toward the bed.
"I guess, he is hungry. You feed him till then I'll get ready." Rey said to her, taani nodded her head in agreement. Taking her son in her arms, she walked out of the room.
Rey smiled sheepishly to himself, remembering the moment took place between him & his wife. He brushed his thoughts aside and got ready. And unknowingly, today he saw her as his wife not as Rihaan's mother or tanya's sister. His heart has started accepting her as his.

Rey parked the car outside the famous restro in south ex, delhi. Rihaan was in her mother's arms. They stepped out of the car and walked inside the restaurant. The manager who was standing near the entrace along with some staff, greeted them and led them toward the private table.
"Rey, why we are getting such special treatment?" Taani asked him in hushed tone.
"May be because they want to please the owners of this place." Rey answered him, and let out a chuckle when he saw her eyes went wide in surprise. Rey took rihaan from her, and he kissed her chubby cheek before he made the little rihaan sit on comfortable lil baby chair. After they sat on their chairs, waiter came there to take their order.
"So Chinese or Indian?" Rey asked her.
"Italian." Taani answered while grinning ear to ear.
"Last time i checked, you were not a fan of italian cuisine." Rey raised his eye brow at her questioningly. Taani chuckled softly at his priceless amused expressions.
"So what? I want to try it now, since you are a die hard italian fan. I want to know whats so special in that." Taani replied back. Rey nodded his head in response and chose not to comment on it, living with her for a month had taught him that she can be extremely moody when it comes to food.
After taking their order, Waiter left from there leaving the family alone.
"Taani, can i ask you something? Actually, I had this question in my mind since our wedding but couldn't ask.." Rey started off, taani gave him assuring look.
"Off course, Rey. You can ask me anything without any hesitation." Taani smiled at him softly.
"Urmn..Was there anyone in your life, you loved before our marriage? I mean no one in our families asked your permission when they decided i should marry you for Rihaan. I would never want you sacrifice anything for me & rihaan so.." Rey trailed off, not able to find words to put his emotions in. As hard as it may look to him, imagining her with someone else but he would never want her to leave her happiness for him & rihaan. He just want to clear his doubt or else he won't be able to live with guilt.
"Nahi, Rey. Before our marriage or ever in my life, I never had any guy in life. Meine aapse shaadi karke koi sacrifice nhi kiya, yeh shaadi meine apni khushi se ki hai and iska mujhe koi regret nahi hai." Taani told him. Feeling blessed to have someone like him in his life who thought about her first then anything else. This marriage has come as a true blessing to her.
Unknown to him, he smiled genuinely hearing her confession. A unknown happiness reside in his heart realizing he is the only man in her life, and because of him she hadn't made any sacrifice.
"Thanks, taani." Rey mumbled, he held her hand which was on table, these days, he likes to held her hand in his more than anything. Her small hand fits in his hand perfectly, like its made for him only. And it gives him some unknown happiness.
"Rey, now can i ask you for something?" Taani questioned him sweetly.
"Off course, Taani. You can ask me anything without hesitation." Rey repeated her words from earlier causing her to giggle as he try to talk like her.
"Can i continue my studies? I'm in MBA final year and i don't want to leave it in middle." Taani said to him, hoping he would agree.
"Taani, you don't need my permission for this. I would never stop you from doing anything you want to do." Rey answered her which brought a wide smile on her face.
"Really? Thank you so much, Rey. You are the best husband." Taani squealed excitedly. In her excited, she pulled his cheeks hard.
"Oops!" She bite her lower lips and took her hands back realizing what she was doing. Consciousness took over her as he let out a chuckle. She blushed which made him smile more seeing the pink shade adoring her whitish cheeks.She looked so cute that he had the urge to pull her in his arms and hug her, but he controlled his urge and smiled at her.
His heart skipped a beat, her beautiful smile stole his heart. Their food arrived, they had their dinner while having light conversation.
It was a peaceful moment for them. Unknown to them, they have started falling for each other.

Firstly, Sorry for being late and Thank you so much for the wonderful response on last update. This part didn't had much but hope you liked it.
Their story will move forward lil slowly. And sorry if you missed little rihaan in this update, I'll give family moments of these three in next part for sure.
