Dylan stews in anger as he remembers rejecting Dabbu's proposal. His mother comes and tells him he would only give pain to himself when he hurts others he cares about and asks him why he rejected the proposal. Dylan tells her in frustration that he doesn't believe in marriage. Meanwhile, Rajveer who has offered to drop Chandi home have some romantic moments.
At night, Dabbu is in tears as she recalls everything. Next morning Dylan too is depressed about the turn of events. In the office, he meets Dabbu and is about to apologize when she interrupts him and gives him her resignation letter saying that she wouldn't be able to work with him anymore. Dylan is shocked and asks why. Dabbu asks him the reason for his rejection but when he isn't able to answer, she gets angry and leaves. Dylan is shocked and wants to talk to her. He calls a meeting.
Chandi designs a rakhi and gives it to Rajveer from Mandy's sideđ He remembers how he used to say how much he loved Mandy's rakhi selection when in fact he wasn't too fond of them. He tells Chandi that we can never hurt someone we care about. Chandi too recalls moments with her sisters.He tells her how he would miss his sister but she cheers him up. At the meeting, Dabbu argues with Dylan when he assigns work for both of them to interview a politician. Afterwards, Dylan tries to pacify her but no going.
Mandy gives the rakhi designed by Chandi to Rajveer. They affectionately hug. Rajveer mouths a thank you to Chandi. Meanwhile, Bhu devi tells the family that she saw Dabbu roaming with someone at night. Mamta tells her about it being Dylan but doesn't divulge more. Dabbu comes just then with a rakhi package from Anji. The sisters tie rakhis to each other. Dylan on the other hand remembers how his parents' marriage ended with a bitter divorce and he feels love had ended.
