Chapter 6

Taani stumble on her steps and yelp when stone hit her toes. She clutched onto his hand more tightly. Her husband had wrapped a black cloth on her eyes, making it impossible for her to see and walk with stumbling on her steps. She was thankful to him, for holding her shoulder, helping her to walk forward, in right direction.

"Careful, jaan." Rey whispered in her ear. A chill ran through her spine, she was loving the feel, she gets when he calls her 'jaan'. For him, its not just a nickname for her, he actually mean it. She is his life, His jaan.

"Rey, at least now tell me. Where are we?" Taani asked him, from past one hour she was questioning him this and not once he felt need to answer her.

"Few more minutes, jaan." Rey replied, as they walked inside a house which also happens to be his beach house. They stopped, taani squealed excitedly when Rey opened the blindfold. She blinked her eyes, try to adjust with lightening. A gasp escaped her lips as she takes in the view. The hall was beautifully decorated with white and purple orchids. She turned around and hugged him.

"Thank you, Rey. " Taani kissed his cheek. Rey smiled, feeling like a happiest person alive being the reason of her smile.

"Lets go inside, more surprises are waiting for you." Rey whispered in her ear. She broke the hug and nodded at him, quiet excited to see what her husband had planned for her. Rey held her hand in his and they walked inside the house.

Taani was looking around, thought they had been here once before with her in-laws, but this time its different. They are here for the first time, after they confessed their love to each other.

"For you, My beautiful lovely wife." Rey handed her a bouquet of red roses when they stopped near the stairs. Taani smiled softly at him and took the bouquet from him. She mumbled a thank you, shyly. Rey step forward, her blush always makes him go crazy. He lifted his hand up and tucked a strand of her hair behind her ear.

"Don't blush so much, jaan. I'll lose my self control." Rey whispered in her ear, his tone had the huskiness with hint of seduction. She blushed more deep shade of Red. Rey let out a deep chuckle and scooped her in his arms. Taani gave him a surprised look. Rey gave her one of his sexy grin and started climbing the stairs.

Rey push the door and entered inside their bedroom, which was decorated as well. A big portrait of bride taani, hung proudly on wall above their bed. Taani gasped in shocked, she look at him who was observing her expressions. He let out a chuckle, and pecked her lips to brought her out of her shock state.

"Taani, I have decided that, every weekend we will come here and spend it together." Rey told her, he walked over the bed and made her sit on bed. Since their wedding, he hadn't able to give proper time to her as she deserve, he always had himself engrossed in his work but he wants to give her his time. Which is the best gift any husband could give to his wife.

"Someone is become really romantic, huh?" Taani teased him, Taani made him lay down on bed and come on top of her.

"Why? Don't you like this romantic husband of your?" Rey asked her playfully, tickling his nose with hers. Taani giggled lightly, she wrapped her arms around his torso.

"Well, I like every avatar of yours, Be it workaholic Rey, Angry Rey, caring & mature Rey and this this romantic Rey too." Taani whispered softly. Rey smiled at her in return, her selfless love always touch his heart.

"Now, Lets celebrate our anniversary." Rey whispered in her ear. Taani gave him confused look when he got up and walked out of the room.

After five minutes, he again entered the room, with a trolley. She smiled when she saw Chocolate cake and bottle of champagne along with glasses and their lunch.

"Lets cut the cake, first." Rey said to her, he set the trolley beside the bed, where she was sitting.

"Aap bhi aayiye." Taani patted the space beside her, rey nodded and sat beside her. He lifted up the knife and gave to her.

"See, I'm not good with these surprises n all, I'm still learning. Hope you are liking it?" Rey said, with honesty. Taani leaned and gave him a peck on his cheek.

"For me, you matters to me the most. Aapka saath hi mere liye sab kuch hai." Taani told him, he is giving her time, spending time talking to her, giving her best time of her life.

"And wese bhi, I don't like all those fancy things. I love this simple sweet yet special surprise." Taani told him, Rey felt blessed hearing her words. He wrapped his arms around her and hugged her tightly. Squeezing her which made her laugh.

"I love you, Taani." Rey whispered in her ear. Her heart melt and she tighten her grip around him. After staying like this for a moment they broke the hug and cut the cake together. They fed each other then, Rey pulled her in soft kiss, his hands went to her shoulders and he removed the jacket she was wearing.

"I love you so much, Rey." She mumbled against his lips.

"Tell me something new, jaan." Rey smirked and again started kissing her, wildly. It was rough yet passionate kiss. After what felt like an eternity, They broke the kiss and Rey tried opening the bottle of champagne when Taani stopped him.

"Rey, I'll not drink." Taani told him. Rey gave her a confused look. He kept the bottle back on trolley.

"Why?" Rey asked her, not that he had problem with her not drinking it but still it confused him, why she denied to have drink.

"Remember, Last night. I said, that I want to tell you something." Taani said to him, ignoring his earlier question. Rey nodded, remembering she wanted to say something last night but couldn't because they got busy in their love making sessions. A faint pink appeared on his cheeks remembering their passionate intercourse. It was heavenly feeling, when he was close to her and she submit herself to him, trusting him with her body and soul.

"Yes, but then we got busy in other things." Rey replied winking at her. Taani blushed knowing what exactly he means.

"Rey." She hit his chest lightly. While he laugh at her expense.

"But on a serious note, Tell me what you wanted to tell me?" Rey told her, All of sudden she grew nervous in his arms. Taani leaned and rested her head against him. She closed her eyes, and mentally told herself to tell him now. She gulped down the nervousness and whispered.

"I'm pregnant."

His body went stiff, his mind stopped working. A sudden gush of happiness rush through him as her words registered in his mind. He lifted her chin up and made her face him.

"Sacchi?" He asked her, his hand traveled down and rested on her belly. He touched her belly gently.

"Sacchi! After 8 months, we will have our baby in our arms. Aap khush ho na?" Taani asked him, looking at him, with hopeful eyes.

"Taani, I'm happy. So happy that i wish i could tell you in words. Thank you so much, jaan. This is best gift you have given me. I love you so much, for this. We will have our baby in our arms, very soon." Rey said, his eyes were moist so was hers. Rey bend down and kissed her belly gently. Taani smiled seeing his love toward their baby.

"Rey aapko beta chahiye ya beti?" Taani asked him excitedly. Rey cupped her face in his palm and kissed her forehead.

"Boy or Girl doesn't matter. For me, I just want you and baby to be healthy. I Love you & our baby." Rey told her. Taani smiled through her tears and hugged him tightly. They stayed in each other's embrace, just enjoying the moment in comfortable silence until her stomach growled. Rey broke the hug and look at her, while she gave his embarrassed smile.

"My baby is hungry, Lets have lunch." Rey suggested taani nodded. Rey made her sit on bed comfortably and severed her food, They both ate in same plate, talking to each other.

Then, Rest of the day passed by with them, watching her favorite movies and Romancing. Then, slept in each others embrace, Dreaming about their perfect future together, With their baby, who will complete them and their happy family.

The update was fantastic , Rey's surprises so cute and I was right Taani is pregnant😳

I loved the closure but why the end!

Now I will have to ask Shivi to get a beach house, so we can do this scene and many more 😉🤣
