- Chapter Two -

Singhania family was worried, fearing what could be the reason, where he had gone, on the day of his own wedding day. Guests were whispering, gossiping among each other, how groom is absent from his own wedding.

"Shekhawat's must be waiting for us. Don't know where your son went, now what will we say to them?" Ranvijay said to his wife, Rajni who was in tears.

"Papa, We tried calling him, but his phone is switched off." His elder son, Arjun informed him. It angered him more, first he went out of the house without informing anyone and now, he is not even picking up his cell phone.

Just then, There was hustle between the guests, all were gushing over something which family members failed to catch until arjun's gaze fall at the entrance, where his brother was standing, holding hand of Taani. It confused & shocked them all, they kind a had the idea, what had happened.

Rajni, Rey's mother saw them and ran toward them, and gasp in shock when she noticed sindoor & mangalsutra in taani's neck.

"Rey.." Her voice cracked. Rey glanced at his mother, and felt bad hurting his mother like that.

"Mom, Meet my wife, Taani Reyaansh Singhania." Rey introduced her, his voice was emotionless. Gasps followed by his voice. Taani was staring at ground, she didn't had any strength left to look at any one and see the disgust and hate for her, in their eyes.

"Rey! How could you do this to us? And What about Kria, she was your would be wife then, how could you betray her?" Ranvijay's loud angry voice boomed in hall. Rey looked up, and stare at his dad then, smirked slightly.

"I haven't betrayed anyone, dad. I just got married to someone, I love." Rey told them. His family members were shocked while taani stare at him numbly, she knew whatever he was telling was anything but truth.

"Rey, If you love taani then, you could have told us before, what was the need to do all this. You have spoiled two families reputation." Rajni told him, her tone held the anger and sadness. Rey looked around, guests were staring at them, they were just few guests, who were close to singhania family.

"Now, Marriage is over. You all can leave. Thank you, for coming." Rey said, addressing them.

"And yeah, If anyone of you try to leak some news, whatever happened here then, I guess you all know the consequences." Rey threaten them, he smirked when he saw them, gulping down, in fear. It made him feel good about himself, when he saw people fearing him. After all the guests left, Ranvijay come forward and glared at him.

"Rey, what is all this? Who threaten their guests? Have you gone mad?" Ranvijay shouted, in anger. Rey was getting angry, by each passing second his anger was increasing.

"Yes Dad, I have gone mad. You know why? Because, just few hours back i got to know, My so called would be wife is carrying someone else's child. " Rey roared in anger. Taani closed her eyes and let her tears flow down. He promised her, he won't tell this to anyone then, why he broke his promise?

"I didn't wanted that bitch in my life thus, I marry her And no one, i meant no one will ever question me or her about this marriage.." Rey told them in stern tone. He held her hand, was about to enter the house when his mother stopped them.

"I know, the situation you both got marry wasn't right but still, you are the bahu of this house now, and deserve the proper welcome in this family." Rajni said to her, her eyes scorched with hot tears. Rajni turned toward her elder daughter-in-law, Purvi.

"Purvi beta, Jaao arti ka thaal le aao." Rajni told her, Purvi nodded and walked away from there.

"I never knew, Kria would do something like this. Did you talked to her, Rey?" Ranvijay asked him, this time his tone didn't had the anger.

"I don't even want to see that bitch's face, let alone talking to her. Just call those shekhawats and tell them, marriage is over. I'm not marrying her." Rey told his father. Before ranvijay could say anything else, purvi came there with the thaal of aarti and kalash filled with rice, for her grahpravesh.

Rajni took the aarti thaal from her hands and did the aarti of the newly wed couple then, she asked taani to enter the house by kicking the kalash lightly. With blank mind, Taani moved forward and did as she was told to.

"Rey, Now you have to pick her up in your arms and take her upstairs, in your room." Rajni told him. Taani looked uneasy hearing this.

"Rey, take her upstairs and rest for a while. I'll inform shekhawats about this." Ranvijay told him. Rey gave him a curt nod. He turned toward, who was standing there, looking like a small scared kitten. He mentally chuckled at that, bending down little he scooped her in his arms. Taani wrapped her arms around his neck and their eyes met. He could witness pain, hurt and fear in her hazel orbs while his were black. As if he had nothing but darkness inside him.

Rey entered inside the house, with her in his arms then, they both walked upstairs in his room, from now on her room too. After they left, Arjun turned toward his father.

"Dad, Don't you think something is fishy? Kria betrayed him, I can never understand he doesn't want to marry her after but then, why he got married to taani. As far as i know, they never talked to each other much then, how can they fall in love. And did you just see, how scared taani looked. It was not a love marriage." Arjun said to him, putting his point of view forward. His father agreed with him.

"I know, What are you trying to say, arjun. And We all know that, betrayal don't go well with rey, I'm sure he is doing all this to hurt Kria." Ranvijay voiced out, Rajni looked worried hearing it.

"But, Why taani will get punishment of something kria had done?" Purvi said, feeling bad for taani, who was getting punishment for something she hasn't done.

"I know. She is innocent and I just hope, he doesn't hurt her in his anger." Ranvijay replied, he knows his son in & out. He can go to any extent to hurt someone if he wants. And the worst part is, he never listen to anyone, nothing & nobody can stop him.

"Rajni..Purvi beta, Please behave normally with her, try to make her feel home. She is going through alot and I'm sure, her family is not going to take this news lightly knowing Rey had married her instead of Kria." Ranvijay told them, Rajni & Purvi, they both nodded, agreeing with him.

"You don't worry about her, Ranvijay. Now, she is daughter-in-law of this house and she will be treated like one, with respect and love. We will take care of her. And if possible, we will try to keep rey away from her, till his anger calm down." Rajni answered him, ranvijay nodded in response. Then, he went to his study to call gautam shekhawat and disclose the news of new happenings to him.

Rey placed her down on floor as they entered inside, he locked the door, and turned toward her. She was standing still, having no idea what to do, now? Her whole form was shivering, in fear & nervousness. She had no idea, what he will do to her?

Without sparing a glance to her, he walked toward the closet, sliding the door aside, he took a white shirt out. And walked back, where she was standing.

"Go, wear this. Washroom is there." He ordered her, she lifted her gaze up and stare at the shirt then at him.

"I'm not going to wear this." Taani mumbled, she avert her gaze away from him. He held her arm and pulled her into him, with force that she yelp and clutched his shoulder in fear.

"From now onwards, you will do as i will say. And dare you deny me else you won't like the consequences, i can assure you that." Rey whispered harshly in her ear. A chill ran through her spine, in fear. She let out a shaky cry.

"Why are you doing this? If you wanted, you could have talked and solve this matter between our families then, why you married me? Marrying me wasn't the only option you had." Taani cried, feeling miserable. She felt like a rag doll, in his hand.

"I know, marrying you wasn't the only option i had, but you were one of the option and I love this option, it was best for me." Rey told her, smirking down at her while she stare at him, in confusion.

"How?"

"How? Well, Lets say that, i want you as my wife. I mean comm'on, where i will get such innocent, cute, pure, doll-face wife, like you. It's a win win deal for me." Rey replied, her eyes widen in shock. She knew he was just teasing her, testing her patience level but still his words made her belly feel funny, with butterflies dancing in.

"I'm not a doll-face." Taani defended herself. Rey let out a chuckle.

"Keep telling yourself that. And now, go and change before i change my mind and make you sleep naked with me." Rey told her, in his usual dominating voice. She gasped at his bold words, snatching the shirt from him, she ran inside the washroom while mumbling some 'praising' to him, like besharam, arrogant, insensitive jerk & what not.

After she left, he took out his cell phone and dialed his assistant's number.

"Hello, Aman. Inform the media, Kria shekhawat's marriage got canceled because her groom come to know, she is carrying her lover's child. She betrayed me And add some spice in news, if you want." Rey told him, letting out a deep throaty chuckle at the end of his sentence. Getting positive reply from his assistant he cut the call.

"Sorry sweetheart. I know I told you, I won't tell this to anyone but what could i do, I can't even let that girl go easily, after betraying me. She needs to learn her lesson. Never mess with Reyaansh Singhania" Rey thought to himself, smiling evilly. It was just a start, Shekhawat's will face alot in future.

Interesting.. !!!loved it !!
I love ragni aunty the most..i guess she is somewhere gonaa be a major part in story.
And I loved the traditions..esp the 1 where Rey has to carry her in arms..😳
And if he loves Taani..then lets say..its going to be more interesting..
I love the way he threaten her..for not wearing shirt 😳
And the names ahe call him"praising".. 😆
Waiting for the twist and turn..
And yeah he broke the promice .. 😕
