Sometimes fate plays weird games with you.And sometimes you try to outplay fate and end up lost in the twisted games of fate itself.And sometimes no one plays the games,and you are still lost..

Arjun after his marriage to Radhika,had the misfortune or fortune to fall into the stream as they fell into it down a cliff.And then it had taken nearly all his willpower to move himself away from that blissful kiss he shared with her.Nearly all his body cells had been on fire.Nearly all..As some part of him jeered at him with laughter for not being a man enough and live upto his sister's high thinking of him to be capable of taking the revenge.

No sooner had the thought crossed his mind that his wife of few hours had pushed him off her too.She was enraged after she had overcome the shock and turbulence of the unwanted and uncalled for kiss.

And then soon he had dropped her at her home.Hating himself for getting drowned in his wayward emotions.Only to bring her back the very next day.As was ordered by his Nandini di.But Arjun tried not to think about the way the monster within him had rejoiced and whooped with laughter and joy at the prospect of having to play the role of the perfect husband.He had did his level best to hide his inner triumph at having been handed the perfect reason to get near to her again,and with a less feeling of guilt.

The lines he said to his mother-in-law came to him as if they were from his heart and from somewhere deep within him.As if he had known them all along by heart.But of course he had not,his mind had corrected him.And the inner triumph and pleasure he felt at teasing her like a husband teasing his angry wife while she walked away angry,also seemed to be known lines to him.

And when he picked her up in his arms to carry her off in her lap into his car,Arjun did his best to drown his fast racing heart.It was all because of his Nandu's order he tried to explain to himself,trying unsuccessfully to stop the slight pleasure he was feeling at having her near him.Even if it was all part of his acting.But was it..?

Arjun was left to wonder this again,when the fire extinguisher drowned her in the water,and the wet saree was plastered to her again.He had acted that his heart had not skipped a beat,when he saw her drenched like that again.Of course he had to,because this all was nothing but a farce only.

But he nearly lost the last hold on his control,now,when she opened the door after lots of banging by him.

"Sir..?Would you have really broke the door open had I not opened it..?!"

Damn!DAMN!DAMN!DAMN!!!Arjun cursed silently as he took in her alluring look dressed in his white shirt and pants.

"Would you rather I not wear your dress..?Because I am a panauti..?I would rather not touch your dress too!If I only had-.."

I would rather you wear NOTHING,Radhika..Arjun could not stop the unthinkable scandalous thought cross his mind,as she blabbered on some more nonsense like she usually did to annoy him further.

Without thinking much,he took a step closer to her,making her stop in mid-sentence as she took two step backwards.

"Sir-.."She murmured as if in warning when her face flushed up as she saw him looking her up from bottom to the top of her head.

It was as if he could not stop himself when Arjun took a step towards her again,and Radhika took three more steps backwards.And as his eyes were fixed on her pretty flushed face,Arjun went still when he saw her wince a bit.

Instantly his eyes went down to her feet.Suddenly all of his body went cold as he saw the reddish patches on the tiled floor where she had just stepped.Had she not washed her feet,after the welcoming ritual..?!

Arjun took another step towards her,when she tried to move back faster,and this time he clearly saw the shadow of pain cross her face that she tried her best to hide fast.But Arjun had seen it all.

"Radhika..?Are you alright?!"He asked in one breath,as he was beside her in a flash before she could move back further.

"I'm fine Si-.."

She did not get the time to finish her sentence as he suddenly picked her up into his arms and placed her gently on a nearby couch,as the bed was already burnt thanks to himself.

Before she could get what he was doing or even try to stop him,he raised her feet to take a look at them.And as he did so,he went still with shock when he saw the cuts in them.They were bleeding,and some pieces of broken glasses were stuck to some cuts,and others were obviously cleaned albeit lousily by none other than the bearer of the wounds herself.

He hitched in a sharp breath when she winced as he slightly touched her sole.His insides clenched up in reaction as his jaw tightened as he gritted his teeth.With blazing eyes he looked up at her face as he sat kneeling in front of her with her injured feet resting on his knees.

He did not say a word as he saw her looking at him disdainfully while she tried to free her feet from his hold.

He stood up as he pulled her closer to himself by holding her by her shoulder,as he looked close into her eyes with his burning with rage.

"How did this happen?"He gritted out."Why didn't you tell me?!Are you hurt anywhere else..?!"He asked unable to hide the worry from his eyes as he said so.

Radhika did not say anything in response but stared back at him with angry eyes.

Arjun breathed heavily as he tried to get a hold of his temper and also the storm brewing within him.

DAMN!He hated himself for the pain she was going through all over again,and like always he was helpless trapped in his own web of lies and deception.Inhaling a long steadying breath he squeezed softly at her shoulder.

"Sit here.And don't move a bit."He warned her as he moved away from her to look for the first aid kit.

In the next half hour Arjun was busy in cleaning her wounds and bandaging them up properly,trying hard not to give out the pain he himself went through as she winced in pain every time.

If it was left upto him,he would not have let her take a single step on the ground,and carried her off to somewhere completely safe and sound far away from all sorts of pain.But of course, things like always were not in his hand.And all Arjun could do was try to make the best of the things in his hand.

Within a few minutes he had cleaned up the mess he himself had created.And to the utter amazement and confusion of his brand new wife sitting quite quietly wearing his shirt and pants,Arjun had removed the burnt bedcover and changed it with a squeaky clean and comfortable looking white one.

Radhika was completely quiet too as he again picked her up in his arms,and carried her off to the bed,and Arjun tried hard to ignore the tell tale beating of his racing heart,as he held her soft fragrant body close to his.He tried his best to NOT THINK about the PROSPECTIVE AND ADVANTAGEOUS USES OF A WEDDING BED ON A WEDDING NIGHT too.But he could not ignore the knotting of his muscles into taut masses of tension wherever her body was in contact with his,and also the spiraling feelings of need rocketing his senses.

Arjun tried to steady his breathing as he neared the bed further,and he had almost reached it when he could not stop himself from looking down at her face.WRONG MOVE!He realised too late as his eyes met her confused,questioning and alluring ones looking up at him.

DAMN!She looked good enough to eat like that too!Damn!Those eyes of hers,trying to open up all the closed doors of his heart and mind,were surely going to be his murder open!

Arjun hated that he had to put her down on the bed while all he wanted to do was hold her closer than ever!But somewhere at the back of his mind he still remembered his Nandu's unfulfilled revenge,and slowly he started loosening his hold on her as he started sliding her down his body and onto the bed.And he could not help but rejoice silently at the giveaway gasp that escaped her lip as she also felt the zing of electrified current that seemed to pass through his system,as her body slid down his.

Both of them were so engrossed in the feelings that coursed through them,and the way they could not look away from each others' mesmerizing eyelock,that a startled simultaneous gasp was followed when another sound interrupted the silent electrified atmosphere.

SNAP!SNAP!SNAP!SNAP!SNAP!!!!!

The ominous sound of buttons tearing up and falling on the ground,as they both stared into each others' eyes now with shock,was followed by a drowning of everything in utter darkness,as the electricity went out.

Heavy breathing was all Radhika could hear..Mingled heavy breathing that was ofcourse her and His together,as utter darkness drowned them.

It took her a few seconds to understand what had happened.A few extra seconds to process her suddenly dulled brain as her whole being seemed to be extra aware of him at that moment.Especially after the kiss he had given her surprising him completely.

And then the next question that instantly came up on her mind was what had just snapped???Was it buttons?Then whose???!!!!

She only had to move a bit to get the answer when cold air seemed to hit her exposed bodice!A hot flush ran though her body,and she thanked her lucky stars that the electricity had gone at the right time,and he had not seen her in this state!

But she had not finished thanking her stars when he felt something warm and solid against her exposed bodice,as a male hand touched as if to see what had happened and to whose shirt.

She could clearly hear the giveaway hitching in of his breath as his hand found one lace covered mound,and then instantly moved away as if burned,and Radhika flushed deeper,as she tried to move away again.But somehow she found herself stuck to him.So she pulled harder to be free.Desperate to put some more distance between her and him!The result was even more ominous than before.

SNAP!SNAP!SNAP!!!The last three buttons of the shirt she wore broke away too,as she had somehow managed to get them stuck with his buttons,that was followed by three buttons popping out from his shirt too.

SNAP!SNAP!SNAP!!!

An ominous silence followed,as both tried to get a grip on things.Breathing hard and fast to get a control of the embarrassing situation.

This time both tried to move away together,when in the darkness they bumped together,and as a result both ended up sprawled on the very welcoming bed,with Radhika trapped under Arjun.

Arjun closed his eyes as he tumbled onto the bed with her soft body trapped under his.He tried not to think or feel the way she lay nearly naked with the shirt front completely open only if he just wanted to delve into the wonders of her dreamy sexy body..

Arjun tried hard..He tried hard,but it was difficult to do so,when she tried to move under him and brushed her soft body against his,and made a certain part of him react and become harder.

DAMN!He cursed his growing awareness of her.And double DAMN!He cursed as there was no electricity,making him frustrated being unable to see her,or her face like this!And to add to it all,the absence of light only seem to heighten the effect as he could now feel more.Feel more of everything to a sharper extent as if all of his other senses were now working overtime due to the absence of his eyesight.

Radhika tried to move again,and Arjun closed his eyes,gritting his teeth hard,as he tried to ignore the tug he felt hard and low down in his body,as her soft exposed lace covered bodice brushed against his exposed hard chest wall.

"Don't moveRadhika-..!"He managed to grit out from between clenched teeth in a husky voice."Like this.."He slowly completed as he opened his eyes and tried to see her face through the darkness.He could only make out faint outline of her face,but he could feel all of her,as he tried to control his ragged breathing.

"But Si-.."

"Shut up Radhika!Don't call me SIR too!"He said in the same irritated tone."Not now.."He added in a ragged breath.."Or ever.."He finished under his breath,when she seem to move again.

"Damn!What is wrong with you?!I said-.."

"My hand hurts.."She mumbled out,making him feel guilty in place of the initial irritation.

Quickly Arjun shifted a little to the side while he put his hand between them so as to remove her hand from under him,and stilled as he realised he was too late.

His breathing stopped as his hand encountered the naked skin of her flat stomach,as she had already moved her hand away the moment he had shifted,and slowly Arjun looked up into her barely visible eyes,as his own darkened with the now nearly unrestrained need he felt burst within him.

Before he could stop himself,he had moved almost completely,but only to replace his body with his hands.

A soft stunned gasp reached his ears as his hands moved to completely part the already open nearly button less shirt.

SNAP!

The last dangling button snapped out as he pulled hard,not caring if the material itself tore or not,as an all new rage burned within him and fast gained pace.

Arjun moved his hands on the soft naked skin within loving the warmth and silky feel as he moved them on her flat stomach,his breathing ragged as he did so.

He moved up her body,slowly while the other caressed her stomach and waist,squeezing and kneading at the sensitive skin of her waist as he did so.She was breathing hard too,he could hear it too,as his hand moved up along her side,until it touched the side of her lacy bra.It stilled there,and Arjun felt his heart beat faster than ever as he contemplated what to do next.

He tried hard to see her expression,but the darkness would not let him see that ofcourse.And all he could do was feel and hear..

He could feel..Feel her skin burning as he touched them,and tighten as he moved his rough hand along them..And he could hear..He could hear her heavy breathing,as they pierces the silence along with his,and he could almost hear her heart beating fast..Alomost,but not completely..

Without thinking further Arjun moved himself closer to her,as his stilled hand moved and gently cupped one lace covered mound,making her gasp out,as she tried to move him away.

"Don't..!Radhika..!"He nearly pleaded out,stunning both himself and her,at the pleading note in his husky voice.And Radhika stopped moving too.

Inhaling a long raspy breath,Arjun moved himself closer to her soft body,as his hand teased her one stiffened lace covered peak while the other teased at her cute belly button,making her moan out softly.

Arjun loved the sound of it..

"Do you feel it..?Is your heart racing like mine is Radhika..?"He whispered huskily,as he moved his hand from her navel and placed her hand on the left side of his exposed bare chest.

He moved his lips to her neck and nibbled gently at her throbbing pulse,and licked there softly as she moaned out.

"Can you feel my pulse throbbing like yours..?"He whispered against her neck as he moved his hot lips down her burning throat making his way to her cleavage.

He moved himself so as to hold both her hands in his on either side of her on the bed,his fingers fitting into hers perfectly,as his he moved his lips to kiss and lick at the sensitive cleavage..

Breathing harshly,he moved up and tried to see her through the darkness.

What the hell was he thinking?!!Who the hell was he fooling here?!!Arjun cursed loudly as the reality of the situation hit him hard,and if his shame was not enough to torment him,that was exactly when the electricity came back on..

He blinked hard trying to adjust to the sudden harsh light.And finally when he opened his eyes and looked down at her face,he hitched in a sharp painful breath.

Guilt crushed down onto him like an avalanche,as he took in her flushed hot face,and closed eyes as she breathed heavily trapped under him.

And Arjun was afraid to look down further..The darkness had curtained the reality from him,but the light suddenly proved what a lowly being he was..

He had his aim set somewhere else,and here he was playing with someone else.He cursed himself aloud as he moved himself off her in a flash.And in seconds he had opened the door and strode out of the room banging the door shut tight behind him.Not looking back even once..

But had he turned back,maybe Arjun would have stopped or maybe his steps would falter a bit,as Radhika half raised herself and looked at his retreating back,while tears spilled down her eyes,as she tried to cover herself..As she tried to cover her exposed body..Her shame highlighted by the harshness of the light she always loved..

Radhika suddenly wished darkness came back again and hid her shame,while Arjun standing outside by the balcony now wished darkness came back and he could be near her again under its cover..Both of them somehow wanted the same thing..The cover of the darkness..To hide their reality..To hide their feelings..To hide from themselves..

Both prayed for darkness without realising the truth,that it was their mind that was already shrouded in darkness,and hence not letting them see the light that was ablaze in their hearts..
