Shagun's House

Shagun couldn't believe that her life is no more the normal one. She felt her world crashing down as she went back to the moment, which shook her world.

Flashback

"Advey listen to me. Stop it baba. I swear ill make u talk to your maasi." She tried shushing Advey who was continuously cribbing about wanting to meet his companion. Ishita.

"God Ishu what have you made my son. He cannot stay even a second quietly without remembering you now. Looks like after patching u up with that Hitler of yours I am side dished" she muttered, dialing her Best friend's number.

Seeing Ishita not picking up the call she drives back to her house.

Unbuckling Advey from the seat she takes him home and tries putting him to sleep.

"Where is Ashok now? Oops I had not told him about my early arrival let me give him a surprise. I am sure he might be in the bed room." She moves towards the bedroom only to get the shock of her life. Ashok was in the bed on the bed F**king someone else. ON HER BED MIND IT.

"What the f**k is this Ashok. Excuse me who the hell do you think you are? How dare you come into my house and use my bed. Get the F**k out of my house you wh**e. And you Mr Ashok Khanna you think yourself to be Christian Grey of fifty shades who loves having s*x with any girl he likes and later leave her. You think that you can cheat on me and get away bas***d. Get out of here." She said cursing him from the bottom of her heart. Anger burnt her eyes but the hurt was like a bullet piercing her heart.

Ashok Khanna was shocked would be an understatement. He was caught and he knew better than to mess around Shagun anymore. He without uttering a single word walked out of the house.

Just before walking out of the door, he looked at the munchkin Advey and felt guilty about what he did. He walked out glancing one last time at Advey.

Shagun came to the hall and slumped near Advey hugging him as if there was no life

End of Flashback

She cried her heart out. Advey not knowing what was happening hugged Shagun back. "Mumma, you okay? Mumma I wont cry mumma. Ill talk to maasi later mumma." He too had tears seeing Shagun in tears.

Shagun squashed the little boy by tightening her arms around him inhaling his baby scent. His voice was like a soothing balm on her burnt heart. Seeing his tears, she knew she had to compose her self.

She saw him sleeping on her shoulders.

Shagun look at Advey and more tears filled her eyes.

"Advey mera bacha, what will happen to us now? I am sorry baby. I don't know what to do?" She held him closely and cried her heart out. Him being in deep slumber was a blessing in disguise.

She dint want her 3-year-old son to see her break down.

She herself was shocked to see that she broke down. She wanted Ishita badly but she seemed like she could not even dial a number. She opened a new packet of the cancer stick and lit them.

She tried composing herself and came up with a solution.

"You might have left me weak. But I am no more going to sulk. I don't need you anymore in my life." She said strengthening her heart!

Raman wanted to take her to a beautiful restaurant he had got to know through his contacts. He knew she wouldn't like exquisite things and food was the way to her heart. He had chuckled at the quote often used about pati-ke-dil-ki-raasta-uske-pet-se-hai.

Ishita was more than happy to go anywhere he wanted her to. Sitting in his car, the first thing she did was fiddle with the door because she knows it would frustrate him. And as predicted by the mata Ishita he glared at her.

"Stop it Ishita. I know you are doing it purposely. I am telling you if you once again harm my baby I will take you here and now."

Ishita's breath hitched hearing his last few words. Her eyes widened as big as Angelina jolies lips and her hands, which was busy pulling the handle, now stay clutched to the seat.

Raman smirked at the effect he had on her. He closed the distance between him and her, held her clutched hands and whispered on her lips "Your hands should not be clutching the seat. I think it would rather prefer my shirt for it. I have purchased a brand new one just for it." She turns red and chuckles at his words.

"I'm sure that poor shirt might be cursing its fate now for coming your hand."

"Well, I agree poor it not for coming in my hand but rather for touching me. It might be burning now. It also now knows how hot I am."

"Oh, don't think so high of yourself. Hot it seems my foot. Now can we go where ever that you want to take me. People in heaven please pray for me that I don't end up with you guys. This guy next to me might have plans of sending me to you guys soon. But I would prefer few more years in here."

She looked up uttering those words.

Raman laughed at her amused and aroused of her sarcasm filled innocence.

They reach the newly opened rooftop SCARLET PARADISE' restaurant. Known for being the rich peoples corner it was anything but elegant. Every each of it spoke of sophistication. However, today's attraction was the center table decorated with roses and the lady in red who had just entered the place.

To add on to it the song Lady in red broke the silence of the room.

Raman led Ishita to their special table. The restaurant being famous had many audiences for their date. Ishita looked in awe at her surrounding where as our no more bachelor was busy ogling at her gaping lady.

Red wine soon filled their empty glass and their usual chattering and bickering replaced the silence between them. Their heart felt content after what was like the doom days of earth. Pre ordered food occupied their table and soon their grumbling stomach sighed in satisfaction.

Raman looked at the time. Seeing it strike 11:58 he decided to unveil his plans. He gestured to the manager who stood near the desk awaiting the signal, which was given now. The flashy atmosphere of the restaurant soon turned dark. The bluish white spotlight was thrown on their table and Raman stood by Ishita's side. Helping her on her feet he made her stand and soon went on his knees.

"Will you be mine forever Ms. Ishita Iyer. I swear ill accept you even with sneakers. I needed a lassi in a wine glass and found a perfect combination of sweet and salty one. Now will u accept this bcc news lover?" Raman went on his knees and held out a ring.

The ones who till now were in confusion were gaping at the scene unfolding in front of them. The whole restaurant seemed to have been awestruck with the words uttered.

Not only that even the TV seemed to have been mesmerized by the happenings that it also posed the proposal!

The whole world watching BBC held their breath waiting to know the answer You see the most eligible bachelor was being swept away and people in India are more interested in others life than their own.

Ishita was surprised, overwhelmed, tongue-tied all at once. She was aware of the audience and was soon aware of the media. Instead of feeling happy for a brief second she was embarrassed seeing the media. But not letting it flash on her face she stared back at Raman who was holding what seemed like the most beautiful solitaire she had ever seen. The man really knew what looked nice on her. She slowly nodded and whispered, "YES" and the audience burst into clapping and hooting. Well seems like our movie lover is actually having a shot in her life.

The movie had just begun and she knew that more was yet to come. That moment the only person who came into her mind was Shagun.

She was with him because of her Crazy Cow Shagun. The angel in her life.
