I am of course much older than you are, but when it comes to one's mother, the years do not matter. One feels the same pit of the stomach fear and near panic.
But my mother pulled thru and so will yours. I shall pray for her every day, and so I am sure are you doing. It will work, you'll see. If possible, go and visit her. It will do her good, and you a lot more.
Don't worry and just hang in there. She will be fine soon. And for now, send her my warmest birthday wishes, and tell her that just as you are very lucky to have a mom like her, she too is lucky to have a daughter like you.
