Few hours after the call, Kalpi entered the caf wearing blue denim and white 3/4^th sleeves shirt, her head was covered with a multicolor scarf along with her black aviator shades. As always she had her handbag along with the red clutch... She always kept the clutch closer as it had all the memories of the betrayal she faced few years back... it gave her strength and the determination to fight back.. She looked around the cafe and found Akash waving at her from the corner... She gathered the courage and took a step ahead.

"Heyyy Kalpana... what was so urgent that u called me here, u dint come to office as well... Is everything fine?? R u well??" He asked as soon she reached there.

"Nothing to worry... I had some important work" She replied weekly and lowered her eyes.. She dint know how to propose him for marriage. From the moment she had known love, she loved Raghav only... Thinking about someone else other than Raghav was impossible for her and today for Gauri's sake she was sitting in front of a person to propose him for marriage... And to make it worse... the person already likes/loves her. She was not sure whether this marriage will take place or not but she was sure that her proposal to him will definitely bring lots of expectation in his heart... His desires will increase and in process he might get hurt but she had no other option. A tear threatened her to escape and she closed her eyes to stop it. Akash felt some uneasiness in her... He forwarded his hand to assure her but withdrew it back as she might not like it. The Kalpi he knew never wanted to show her emotions to anyone so he dint want her to know that he noticed weakness in her. He gave the time she required and sat there quietly.

"Will u marry me??" Kalpi said in a feeble voice without looking up. Her heart sank as soon as she uttered those words... She dint know what will be his reaction... On not getting reply for few seconds she looked up... For her, Akash was sitting there without any expressions... he was stunned at this sudden proposal.

"Akash" She called him.

"What... what u just said Kalpi... u want to marry me... I mean u r proposing me..." Akash said in a surprised tone... He was in total disbelief and pinched himself to see whether it was a dream.

"It's true Akash... Will u marry me tomorrow??" She asked in a serious but weak tone. Akash looked deeper in her eyes... there were tears...Her hands were shivering; She was on verge of breaking. Confidently he forwarded his hand kept it on hers.. pressing it slightly. This was the first time she was feeling different for their touch... Numerous questions arose in her mind... "What if this marriage happens... what if he keeps touching me like this... the touch has care in it but what if... No.. I can't marry him. I love Raghav.. But Raghav loves Gauri the most... He can't lose his mother once again... I have to do this. I have to take the risk." She thought and looked up on Akash's face. There was a smile on his face.. "That means he will accept my proposal... That means he will start dreaming about us... The hidden feeling inside his heart will come out in open now... ohh God... for saving Gauri aunty I have to play with his emotions." She said in her mind.

"No... I can't marry u." Akash said with a smile. She was happily shocked to hear no from his mouth but why... when she herself knew that he loves her. Looking at her puzzled face Akash replied.. "Look kalpana..it's truth that I love u and want to marry u but I can't see the same love in ur eyes... It feels like u r proposing me forcefully and a forced relationship won't last longer. What if tomorrow u decide that u don't love me and want to move out of the marriage.. I won't be able to bear it. My mother won't be able to see the fail marriage of his son. I know my love is enough for both of us and I will always keep u happy but what if tomorrow u won't stay faithful to me... What if you decide to go back to Raghav. No Kalpi... I can't marry u. But we are friends... U can share ur problem with me... Tell me why u proposed me... N why u want to marry me, that too in such hurry."

For once Kalpi wanted to share about Gauri's kidnapping with him.. She wanted to request him to have a fake marriage but then glanced at something and stopped.

"Akash... I love Raghav.. and I don't know since when... It's true that I am proposing u for some reason which I can't share with u... U can take it in such way that I am proposing u for a mother... For her, I want to marry u. I can assure u one thing that if this marriage takes place than I will make all the efforts to keep u happy... I will be honest towards our marriage and you. I will not break our marriage at any cost. As soon as the marriage takes place, we will leave the country. I won't force u... but I assure u I will always never ever deceive my husband. The decision is still urs.. " She said and left the place with heavy heart... She had made such promise that she herself dint know whether she will be able to keep or not... If the marriage takes place than she won't ever meet Raghav and will be faithful towards her husband but she can't stop her heart from loving Raghav... Her heart beats for Raghav and she won't be able to change that... She hoped that Akash accepts the proposal but this marriage doesn't take place... She prayed to God to give her courage and success in finding Gauri aunty.

Lifelessly Kalpi entered Singhania mansion, She was damn tensed about Akash and his decision and was waiting for his call as it's been 1 hour already and somewhere she was sure that her words had some impact on Akash and he will call her back... While entering he room she saw at Pakhi who was sitting on the swing of the balcony eating mangoes... Her mood changed as soon as she saw Pakhi having a smile on her lips... She took some fast and angry steps towards Pakhi who get up on seeing Kalpi towards her... Before Pakhi could understand anything, She saw a speedy arm coming towards her face... "Taaad!!" She fell down on the floor with her one hand on the stinging cheek. Kalpi has slapped her so hardly that she lost her balance and fell on the floor... She looked at Kalpi who was standing there with her red angry eyes...

"What the hell Kalpi... how dare u??" She roared, when Kalpi held her arm strongly and replied... "U know why I did it... If ever I get a proof that u r behind this... I won't leave u... Start counting ur days Pakhi... I have taken enough." Kalpi pushed her behind and stormed out of the place while PAkhi kept looking at her with shocked face... She felt pain in the arm and looked at her hand which had Kalpi's finger marks on it. "My God.. this piddi si Kalpi has so much power in her... U will pay for it Kalpi... Get ready Kalpi... This slap will cost a lot but what was she talking about?? What made her so angry??"

As soon as Kalpi reached her room, she switched on the music system and some items song started... Pakhi who was still wondering about Kalpi's mood got amused that the girl who was so angry few mintues back is now enjoying the music...

"She is definitely the type pf girl who listens such raunchy numbers... Something is surely wrong with her... I need to find out to make the situation in my favour" Pakhi thought and decided to spy on her.. She peeped inside her room but Kalpi wasn't there... Her handbag was lying on the bed along with her scarf and glares... "She must be in bathroom.. I think I am reading too much between the lines. " Pakhi thought and left the place.

Kalpi who was unaware of Pakhi's presence was tip toeing in the balcony... Waiting for Akash's call... It's been more than 2 hours now and there was no message or call from Akash...

"Kidnapper must have heard everything that happened... He might call me anytime... He might suggest some other guy... Oh God!! What to do now!! Akash need to agree. Please Akash call me."

Another hour passed... Kalpi was now sitting in the balcony swing chair all tensed and hopeless... Just when her phone rang... Akash's name was flashing on the screen... A small smile appeared on her face thinking he might agree now but it disappeared as soon as she realized that she is using his emotions just for saving Gauri aunty... She rushed to her room, switched off the music and received the call.

"Hello Akash!!"

"Kalpi... I am ready to marry u.. Tomorrow itself. It was so foolish of me to distrust u. I know u won't ever betray me. And it was so selfish of me to deny ur proposal... U have done so much favors on me... Now its my time to repay!! For the first u asked anything from me...How can I refuse. I am sorry Kalpi... I don't want to know the reason for this marriage but I just want to assure u that I will always be with u.. N I promise u that I will give u ample time to move on from ur past and accept me. I just love u Kalpi and I will make sure that my love is enough for both of us." He said in one breath... Kalpi was shocked on hearing such heartfelt confession... but managed to speak..

"Akash... If this marriage takes place, than u won't have any complaint from my side... I will be a dutiful wife but If in any case I hurt u than I hope u will forgive me... I hope this phase of life won't affect our friendship... "

"No... it won't... Nothing will change between us..."

"Akash one more thing... The marriage is at 6pm tomorrow. After that we have to leave the city... In few weeks we will be out of country... I hope u don't have any problem in it??"

"No.. Kalpi.. Wherever u want we can go... But I just want to keep my mother with us. Will that be fine??"

"Hmm" Kalpi was unable to utter anything other than the feeble sound... Akash has already started dreaming about the future while she was not intended to marry him but has some other plans to save Gauri... Though she was unsure whether her plan will work. If it fails than she has to marry Akash and fulfill all her promises to him.

"Ohk... Will see u tomorrow at Ganesh Mandir... I need to buy wedding dress too."
