"How did you know that you love Meera?"

"I still can remember that day .. the day I relized I'm in love with her how can I forget that day??"

"Will you share it with me Maan?"

"I will Geet. I really don't know when I fell in love with Meera. I thought we were friends. We always stayed together in College."

"How did you get to know that you love her?"

"It was the last day of our College. Meera was from Delhi and I'm from here. The thought that I could not see her daily made me feel bad. I started to feel the days that are coming ahead. I felt parting from her means, partying from me. Truly I realized my love for her on the last day only. Meera too has realized it on the same day. So during farewell party I proposed her and she accepted. It's strange right. We were together for few years but we realized our love on the last day?"

"Love is strange Maan. We don't know when will it come and when will it leave us."

"Hmmm.. right. I still don't know why she left me? I hope that she's fine somewhere."

"I too hope that Maan. Shall we try to find about her Maan?"

"I tried every way I could. No trace."

"Maan, that day when I went to Rahul's office you were so angry about it? Is it because ..."

"I think he has some involvement in her disappearance Geet. I have lost many loved ones in my life. I can't lose you too. Now get some rest. Don't get down. Ok?"

Saying this Maan left the room.

"I have to help Maan to find Meera. Don't mind if he leaves me. But I need to find about her and reunite them. I know how you feel when your love leaves you. No one knows it better than me." Thought Geet

Maan went to another room held a picture of Meera.

" Today I shared our past with Geet. I felt so light after so many years Meera.I just hope you are fine and safe Meera. I hope someday that I get a clue about you. My love for you will never die. Though you return now I can't marry you as I gave vows in front of holy fire and married Geet. I was helpless Meera. I had to marry her.She needed me and the baby needs a father. I'm so sorry Meera. So sorry."

He cried and cried. Then he got up went to room where Geet was sleeping.

Then he took his laptop and went out to terrace to resume his work.

Next Day Maan got ready to go for work when Geet woke up.

"Good morning Maan!"

"Good morning Geet! How are you now?"

"I'm feeling better Maan."

"Ok stay in better and take rest. Don't get down from bed. Ok?"

"Ok sir."

They both laughed and Maan went off.

After Geet had breakfast she rested in her bed she couldn't forget what Maan and G3 ma told her.

"How can I help Maan? Where is Meera? Why did she suddenly vanish? She loved Maan so much. What really happened? Has she a FB account or twitter? I better find out."

Geet opened the lap top logged in to her twitter and FB accounts and typed Meera's name. She couldn't believe her eyes. She saw the account. It was public and there were lot of photos of her but they were not decent.

"No, this cannot be. She cannot be like this."

She enlarged the photo. Her guess was right they were edited pictures. Her face but someone's body. Geet was a graphic pro so she could really identify it.

"Is her missing related to this? Is she hiding her face from Maan because of this?"

Geet checked the date. It was a recent date.

"Has someone hacked her account? It's possible? But where's she? Why she's allowing these to happen if so? Her missing mystery is leading to some more mysteries..."

Geet was troubled. She was thinking about it when Maan called.

"Hello Geet."

"Hello Maan."

"Did you take your medicine?"

"Ha."

"Are you alright?"

"Ha"

"Geet, tell me what is troubling you? I can feel that you are tensed on something and you know that is not good for your health."

"No.. thing.. Maan... I'm alright."

"Ok then I'll come home and talk to you."

"No! Maan. I mean you finish your work and come I'm going to rest for a while too."

"Promise?"

"Promise!"

Maan cut the phone but Geet could not forget what she saw so she thought to tell G3 ma.

She slowly went down.

"Beta, what are you doing? You could've called me."

"I'm fine ma. I want to talk to you."

"You should have called me."

"It's ok ma. I have to walk too. Otherwise baby will become fat."

G3 ma laghed.

"Ok what do you want talk with me?"

"Ma, can we go to study room?"

"Ha let's go."

G3 led Geet to study room. She gave Geet a comfortable chair.

"Now tell me what the matter is?"

"Ma, I found something about Meera."

"What??"

She then filled her in and showed what she saw, using study room computer.

G3 was shocked.

"Ma, these ones are edited. Do you think her missing has a connection with this?"

"Could be. She's cultured girl. I think Maan is right. Rahul has a connection with this."

" I think we have to let Maan know ma, coz if she's in trouble we can save her."

" I think you are right Geet."

So they both waited till Maan comes home.

When Maan came Maan could see the tense of G3 and Geet.

He rushed to Geet.

"Are you alright Geet? What happened?"

Geet gave a weak smile.

"I'm fine Maan. Shall I make a coffee?"

"No, you just stay there. Just tell me why are you tensed?"

"I'm not tensed. Go and change and come Maan. We'll talk after that."

"No, I'm ok. Just tell me what's troubling you?"

"Nothing serious Maan. So go up and change and come. You cannot deny a friend's request Maan."

Maan agreed and went up.

G3 ma can see that day by day their comfortable level is increasing.

She was so happy to see that.

They soon had evening tea together. Maan could sense something is wrong as Ma and Geet looked tensed.

"Please tell me what happened when I was not here. At least now. You both cannot hide anything more from me."

Geet held his hand.

"Come with me. Make sure you are strong to hear all these."

Maan sense something bad. He feared for Geet's wellbeing.

Geet led Maan to study room and switched on the computer, logged in to twitter and FB. She showed Meera's accounts. Maan was shocked.

What he saw shocked Maan to the core.

"Maan, these not real. I feel there is some connection with Meera's missing and these. Be strong. We.."

Maan could not talk anymore. What he saw made him furious.

"Who asked you to do those things? My Meera is not like this? I can find about her. Don't step in to my personal life. I can handle it on my own."

Maan shouted in anger. Geet got feared. As whole day she was tensed and this sudden made her scare she fainted.

"GEET !!" G3 ma's shout brought Maan to earth. He caught her before she touched the ground.

"Geet wake up. Please.. I'm sorry" Maan begged her.

She didn't response.

"Keep her on the settee" Ordered G3 ma.

Maan did so.

They sprinkled water but she didn't response.

"Ma, I can't take it anymore. I'm taking her to the hospital"

Said Maan while carrying her.

precap - "I couldn't protect Meera and today I failed to protect Geet." Maan sobbed.
