Ch 13After spending 15 days in Australia they returned back India. The honeymoon proved to be a great things as they had come close to each other, Rey no longer shout at her on every small thing, try to be less arrogant in front of her. Well he is Reyaansh Singhania, he can't just leave his arrogance.
Taani was in her bedroom, unpacking their things and arranging them in their closet when he entered their bedroom, he was wearing a vest and track pants.
"Taani why are you doing this at night? I'm sleepy. I have to leave for office early tomorrow" Rey complaint seeing bed covered with their clothes and gifts they had brought from Australia.
"5 minutes more Rey, I'll clean all this," Taani replied, giving him apologetic look. Rey sighed and went to sit on couch. She quickly put all the gifts on table and clothes in closet. After she was done, Rey walked toward her and wrapped his arms around her, taking her by surprise.
"Don't work so hard, you will get tired." Rey whispered in her ear, his fingers were playing on her belly, making her shiver in his arms.
"Rey you were sleepy." Taani reminded him, She tried to get out of his grip but instead she was pulled more to him by him. Rey smirked seeing how his close proximity was making her nervous. With his one hand still holding her tightly, he opened the knots of her suit. Taani shivered feeling his fingers caressing her bare back. Rey took a step back and leaned forward, earning a moan from her as he trailed wet kisses on her bare back, she clutched the material of her suit in her fists tightly.
"Not anymore." Rey whispered huskily, He turned her around, still in his arms.
"I was thinking it's time we take our relationship on next level, I want a baby." Rey told her, she gasped loudly and stare at him with wide eyes.
"What? Come again." Taani shouted, Rey chuckled lightly.
"I said I want a baby, I want to be a father. Don't you want to become a mother?" Rey questioned her, Taani stare at him, she never thought this day would ever come in her life seeing how their relationship is but then why he suddenly demanding a baby when he hasn't accepted her fully yet. She want a baby badly but first she wants to solve everything between her and rey, She doesn't want their baby to suffer because of their differences.
"Off course I want a baby But why suddenly?" Taani questioned him back. She hadn't realized when he took off her duppatta and dropped it on floor.
"Why can't i desire to be a father?" Rey asked her softly, gazing down at her intensely. She dropped her eye lids. Her mind was on his new demand, she was excited to hearing about their baby. His baby growing in her womb that thought itself made her jump in joy.
"It's nothing like that but why suddenly, I mean you still haven't accepted me as your wife." Taani mumbled, She gasp when he scooped her in his arms and placed her on bed, laying beside her he wrapped his arms around her.
"When did i ever reject you? I just said I don't love you nor can love you but that doesn't mean I have kept you away from your any wifely right." Rey answered her, his words kept her thinking over it. It was true he never rejected her, he told her that he would never love her because he doesn't believe in love but again she can't forget his rude behavior.
"But then why you were always rude to me?" Taani asked her. Rey look at her for a moment then sighed, knowing she wanted some answers and he would give her, at least she deserve them.
"Because I never liked the lifestyle you live. So carefree, irresponsible and childish at time .And about me being rude I'm like that only, rude, arrogant as you say. Except my mom-dad I'm hardly friendly to anyone. I even snap at swayum bro so many times."Rey answered her, Taani nodded in understanding, he was just like her father. Her father also never liked the way she approach her life, he wanted her to be a traditional girl who would drop her eyes when someone look at her, never raise her voice at anyone even if someone is wrong but she couldn't be like that, she had learn to live her life on her own terms.
"But how can i be assure that you would love our child, not mistreat him/her?" She knew it was wrong to question his fatherly love but she couldn't help. She wanted to see his fatherly side before she take any decision.
"WHAT? I WOULD NEVER TREAT MY CHILD WRONG. HIM OR HER I WILL LOVE MY CHILD. HOW CAN YOU EVEN THINK I WOULD MISTREAT MY CHILD?" Rey shouted her at angrily, she flinched away and closed her eyes.
"I'm sorry." Taani whimpered.
"It's Okay but never even ask that question again." Rey whispered this time softly, he was still angry at her for questioning him but he could understand her worry too thus calmed himself.
"I won't." They laid there in silence, Rey was playing with the strand of her hair.
"So you will give birth to my child?" Rey asked her suddenly breaking her reverie. She look at him, wondering what she should say, a big part of him want a baby, her baby but a small part of was still scared.
"I want baby." Taani whispered, want of a mother won and she hoped their baby would make him accept his feelings for her, she could see he too feel something for her but he had hide that behind his lust for her.
"I can't wait for that day when I'll hold our baby in my arms." Rey whispered, he placed his hand on her lower abdomen. Taani smiled seeing his eyes shining bright in happiness. He was truly happy which made her smile too.
