Taani stare at him with wide eyes, his grip around her was tight yet delicate, not hurting her even a bit.
"Divorce papers.." Taani stuttered, Rey pulled her closer to him leaving an inch gap between their lips. Her heart was beating fast against her ribcage, sweat beats formed on her forehead.
"Yes taani, Divorce paper. What made you think i will leave you and go back to someone i don't love." Rey whispered in broken tone. Her eyes scorched with tears, his eyes were moist.
"But you are not happy with me." Taani whispered back in equally broken tone. Rey shook his head negatively, a lone tear escaped from his right eye.
"I'm happy with you taani, I never told you before but I'm really happy with you, more than i have ever been with someone else." Rey spoke with such intensity that it shook her, she look into his eyes, they held honesty and love. Love, It was something she had never seen in his eyes before, they always held care for her but not love. And seeing these emotions in his eyes her heart skipped a beat.
"But you love sharon." Taani whispered softly, Rey lifted his hand up and wiped her tears away gently.
"No Taani, I don't love her, We were best friend since childhood, always there for each other. She was the only one who always supported me, stood by my side and we both thought our friendship was more than that but after getting married to swayum and I got married to you, We both realized we both were not meant to be, we never loved each other like she loves swayum or I love you. Sharon and mine feelings weren't that strong. After I got married to you, I stopped having any kind of feelings for sharon but I was drawn in my guilt, I got married to you behind her back, she wasn't aware that I'm getting married to you which made me feel like i cheated on her." Rey was speaking his heart out, not letting anything inside him which made him felt light at heart.
Taani was staring at her husband with such emotions that can not be identify at that moment. She herself don't what she should feel. Her husband love her, It was something she wanted to hear from the day one of their marriage and finally her wait was over, he had said he too feel something for her.
"But.." Taani started off but he kept his index finger on her soft lips, silencing her.
"Aaj mujhe bolne do, Taani. Please." Rey says, staring down at her intensely.
"You know when I got married to you, I didn't knew you, except your name i didn't knew anything about you. I know you too didn't knew anything about me then we both were strangers then we started getting know each other. You know Taani, It was beautiful phase of my life, I started getting comfortable with you then started caring for you and then I started falling for you. You are like a calm breeze, who's presence calm me, I always love how you take care of my every need. I Love you taani, I really do." Rey says with tears streaming down his cheeks, fearing of losing her had made him realized that if he didn't confess his love now then he would lose her forever. It was time he told her everything that he had kept in his heart for so long.
Taani was staring at her husband with teary eyes, couldn't believe what she had heard. She couldn't differentiate between dream and reality. Her emotions were reflecting in her hazel orbs, he could see love and happiness in them with the hind of disbelief. Forgetting everything she embraced him tightly.
"I Love you Rey, I love you." She confessed, he smiled through his tears and hugged her more tightly, close to his heart. He broke the hug and started kissing her all over her face, her nose, cheeks, nose, chin and lastly lips. They both shared a beautiful kiss filled with love.
"I love you taani. I love you so much" Rey repeated again n again, she giggled lightly. Blushing slightly she hugged him, hide her face in his chest. Rey let out a chuckle and embrace her, grinning ear to ear. His happiness knew no bounds, she was finally in his arms, with him.

"Rey, atleast leave me, now." Taani says but ignoring he kept kissing her bare back, since afternoon they had been in their bed, making sweet love to each other after their confession. Sheer happiness was reflecting on their faces.
"Sh. Don't disturb me, Taani." Rey whispered, he turned her around, he came on top of her and she hissed in pleasure feeling his lips on her cleavage, placing hot urgent kisses there.
"But we will get late for sharon-swayum's party." Taani reasoned, tried to push him away but he hold her both hands in his and pinned them on bed above her head.
"They are celebrating their Re-union and we should ours." Rey smirked down at her, she went beetroot red, he licked his lower lip and gave her a goofy grin.
"Like this?" Taani raised a question, trying her hardest to not to get affected by his sweet assault on her body but every time he touch her, she felt powerless. Just wanted to melt in his arms.
"Like this." Rey confirmed, whispering back. Taani was about to say something but he silenced her by placing his lips on hers. Kissing her softly. Sparks flew as they kissed each other, their lips moulded with each other leaving tingling sensation ran through their bodies. His arms were wrapped around her protectively.
"You are such a besharam." Taani mumbled as they broke the kiss, Rey chuckled hearing her 'praising' him. He moved to south continued worshiping her body. And her husband get what he wanted, she melted in his arms and they made love to each other again n again. Their world was perfect now, just two of them and their love.

After hours of their lovemaking they both were sitting on bed in each others arms, draped in satin sheet. It was past midnight.
"Rey where were 2 days back, You didn't came home whole night?" Taani asked him suddenly, he was playing with strand of her hair.
"2 days back? i wan in hospital, My friend met with an accident and I was with him. Sorry taani, In tension it slipped from my mind to inform you." Rey told her, giving her a guilty smile. Taani smiled gently at him, knowing why he wasn't home on they wedding anniversary. She thought he didn't wanted to celebrate it thus he didn't return back home but it was not true, he was with his friend in hospital, It eased her pain a bit but not fully knowing he still don't know that day was their 1st wedding anniversary.
"What happened taani?" Rey asked her with concern.
"Do you know what day it was?" Taani asked in him in low tone, hoping somewhere he know, he know it was their first anniversary, the day they both got married a year back.
"Urm..What it was taani. I don't remember." Rey gave up after trying a lot to remember, what was special in that day?
"Nothing. Forget it." Taani mumbled sadly.
"What nothing taani. I'm sure it was something. Please tell what it was?" Rey pleaded, his face fell when he saw her sad face.
"It was our 1st wedding anniversary." Taani whispered but was sure he had heard her, his body went stiff and he had a pained look in his eyes while his face was expressionless. How could he forget such beautiful day, the day his taani entered in his life. His heart broke as his eyes got moist thinking how much it must have hurt her when she had to spend that special day alone at home and above all he forgot that day, didn't even called her adding more to her pain. How he is going to make it up to her for his this mistake?
