Chapter ThreeHe was in pain, his heart broke into thousands of pieces hearing those words. His taani..his taani had taken such decision just for his happiness. So that he could be happy she had decided to ruin her life, break her own marriage. Thinking about spending his life with out her something broke in him. He knows he had kept himself away from her but that doesn't mean he is not happy with her or he wants to back to sharon. He would never return back to sharon, with taani he had started forgetting his past slowly and his heart had accepted her long ago but his actions failed to show her that. He had stopped feeling for sharon long ago but it was guilt..guilt that he had done wrong to sharon by marrying taani before telling her, more like he got married behind her back and that guilt had kept him away from giving himself fully to his wife taani and accept his happiness.
His reverie broke when sharon called out for him. He blinked his tears away, he hadn't realized when his eyes filled with tears.
"Galti humari hai sharon. We both have wronged our partners by not giving them happiness they deserve. We both were not meant to be which i have realized after i got married to taani but i never wanted to accept it thinking i had cheat on you by getting married to taani without telling you anything." Rey said, guilt was visible in his eyes along with pain.
"I know Rey. Our families tricked us, we never got chance to talk to each other about our marriages and we punished our partners for our families mistake" Sharon mumbled in low tone.
"Sharon lets go and talk to swayum first then I'll go and talk to taani." Rey suggested, seeing her broken state he was sure she will not be able to go alone and talk to swayum about this. Sharon nodded in understanding. They both got up and left for swayum's office in Rey's car.

Rey stare at them as Sharon and Swayum were staring at each other, they all were in swayum's cabin. Sharon had confessed her love to him..finally.
"Swayum, I'm sorry because of me you have to go through so much pain, my family tricked me and got me married to you in the name of family trip to shimla and I held you responsible for that. I was so caught up in my past that I forgot that I have a beautiful present and more beautiful future with you. Please don't leave me. I can't leave without you. I love you swayum." Sharon was crying bitterly, he couldn't see his love like this thus swayum gathered her in his arms. Sharon & Rey both got married to Taani & Swayum respectively without telling anyone as their families had tricked them, they both sharon & Rey never got chance to talk to each other about their weddings.
"It's okay sharon. I love you too." Swayum whispered in her ear. Rey who was watching their reunion felt a smile crept on his lips. And at that moment he let go of his past. The guilt he was carrying with himself was lifted off his shoulder seeing her happy with her partner. Sharon got her happiness back but what about him, he still has to talk to taani about this matter.
"I'm sorry Rey.." Swayum's voice brought him back into reality, he gave him a confused look not understanding why swayum was apologizing to him.
"If i hadn't talked to taani about this then she wouldn't have decided give to divorce to you. It was me who put this divorce thought in her mind. I'm really sorry.." Swayum started off, feeling extremely guilty.
"No need to apologize swayum. She had every reason to give divorce to me, My actions gave her thought I'm not happy with her. It was my past that kept me away from her, never let me open up to her and I guess thats where I was wrong. We never talked about this in fact we never talked about our feelings, in relationship its important we talk and it was lacking in our relationship which is completely my fault. I have alot to make it up to her" Rey told him with sadist laugh. Feeling like a stupid suddenly realizing what he had truly missed and what his wife is about to do, just to make sure he get his happiness but she doesn't know that his happiness lies in her now, he might have never told her any romantic things or had done romantic things for her which would told her or give her hint about his feelings but he does feel for her but never recognized those feelings before today.
"You go and talk to her Rey." Sharon told him, wanting him to go and mend his relationship with his wife.
"Bye Swayum, Bye Sharon." Rey waved at them, passing a friendly smile at them he left from there. As he walked out of that place he left his past behind him with the intentions of never return back to it. Rey sat in his car and drove away to his house.
"Damn! She must be so worried for me, I left the house in hurry without telling her anything." Rey mumbled to himself, remembering how he left the house ignoring her. He cursed himself for that, then he noticed a shop of teddy bears and stopped his car on the side of road. He crossed the road and went inside the shop to buy a teddy bear for his wife, A smile appeared on his lips, knowing how much she loves them. He bought a big size purple colored fluffy soft teddy bear for her. He kept the teddy bear on back seat and drove away to home.
Rey parked his car in front of his mansion and ran inside. He went upstairs when he didn't found her in kitchen. Opening the door he entered inside, a sad look crossed his features as he noticed her packing his stuff. Rey placed the teddy bear on bed and walked toward her who was quiet shocked seeing him home so early.
"You are going somewhere?" Rey questioned her, though he know she was packing her stuff to leave his house but he didn't want her to know that he know about the divorce thing, he don't want her to feel that he is doing this just to save stop her from going not because he actually need her in his life. She is in sensitive state where he had to think twice before doing something, he had long way to go to make her believe he actually need her in his life, she is not just his responsibility. She is more than that, she is his other half who complete him.
"I..I..Rey you are home so early?" Taani was stammering, her palms were sweaty as she rubbed them together. She was planning to leave his house before he return back, she had already got divorce papers from swayum's lawyer and had signed them keeping a stone on her heart.
"Why? Can't i come home early and spend some time with me wife?" Rey voiced out softly, taking steps toward her while Taani stare at him with surprised look. Though before too he used to come home early and take her out once or twice in month after taking out time from his busy schedule, but today she hadn't expected him to come home so early.
"No..Nothing like that." Taani fumbled nervously. Rey shook his head and started taking out her clothes from her suitcase, taani tried telling him to stop but no voice come out of her mouth.
"Okay, Forget that. You know I have a good news for you." Rey said as he kept the empty suitcase back in its place and all her clothes piled up on bed.
"What good news?" Taani asked him, Rey went behind her and wrapped his arms around her, cause butterflies to dance in her belly, it was first time he was doing something like this, usually they come this close only when they make love but today he was acting little different, he was quiet open to her not that she was complaining but still she wondered what happened suddenly?
"Urm..You know swayum & sharon, they were going through a rough patch but finally they had solved their problems and in this happiness they are throwing a party tonight." Rey told her, his head was dipped in her neck. His words sinked in causing her to gasp in shock.
"What? When did that happen?" Taani questioned him, she was quiet shocked hearing it, till yesterday swayum was planning to divorce sharon and reunite sharon & Rey but now swayum & sharon are together, it was confusing for her.
"They sorted out their problems, thats why i left so early in morning, Sharon called me to tell me about this" Rey told her her in soft tone. Rey made her face him, still his arms wrapped around her.
"Thats good. I'm happy for them." Taani smiled genuinely happy for them. But she was in dilemma, now there are no chances of Rey and sharon then should she still give him divorce and free him so that he can chose his partner with whom he can be happy?
"I know what are you thinking taani. You can burn those divorce papers. I'm not letting you go anywhere away from me" Rey told her, looking straight into her eyes. He had tighten his grip around her, possessively. Her breath hitched, he know about the divorce but how? And why he is stopping her when she herself is ready to free him from his forced relationship?
