~TIED IN KNOTS!!!~

Part-1:

Headache..What did someone do when the headache just would not budge?Arjun pinched the bridge of his nose,as he tried hard to relax and calm down his nerves.But of course he already know it was all in vain.

You could have medicine or even cure your headache that was just a simple headache.But when it was a headache caused by your heart ache,or to be specific which was triggered by the ache and thirst you felt from your heart,then it was incurable by anyone.

Except the one who caused the ache in the first place..A small voice seemed to whisper out from within himself,and Arjun pinched the bridge of his nose harder as if in defiance to himself.

There was no treatment for his ache.No solution to his problem.No path led to darkness from where he stood.Nothing and no one could cure him because he had chosen his own path of destruction.

After the fateful night in her flat,he had stayed away from her.Luckily or unluckily for him,Sam had returned but seemed to be too engrossed in work to spend time with him.And that was quite fine for him too.He was satisfied with the arrangement as the ache within his heart would barely enable him to act normal with her.All he did mostly was snap at everyone,and when he realized she was even in the vicinity he always took a turn around to completely avoid her.

He had spent countless sleepless nights wondering what would have happened if he had not stopped that night?What would have happened if he followed his heart only and stopped listening to his ever dominating mind?What would have happened if he just let himself go and made himself succumb to the raw hunger within him,and answered the irresistible pull that pulled him only in one direction.But the questions did not stop,and all he got for answer was enough heart ache to last him a life time.Enough sleepless nights to lose his sanity..And still there were no answers..

And no matter what he did helped.Nothing seemed to help at all.Nothing whatsoever..

Not even his Nandu..Arjun had held back himself from snapping at her a number of times last few days,so strained was her.Here he was in his own heel,and she was pushing him to move on with his plan with Samaira Khanna.And Arjun found himself oddly less and less interested in it.

At the back of his mind even he himself knew that it was time to move ahead with the plan.That it was time for the next step before Sam was lost to Neil,which he had recently noticed she was more obsessed with these days.But Arjun just did not care anymore.It was as if something inside him was stopping him,and pulling him away from the revenge and Sam,and instead was pushing him towards Radhika-The very person he tried to avoid everytime.And failed miserably every time too.

Like last week his heart had nearly burst open when he had found himself with her in the same lift again..Memories..Hot memories and an unquenchable thirst within him had roared alive along with the tightening of his thighs when he remembered their time together in the lift.And then it even brought back the hot night encounter at her flat..The night where he was only inches from taking her as his..Almost,but not yet enough for him..Never enough!And Arjun almost groaned out loud in frustration. God!How could he forget those memories.. ?!

She was also thinking of the same line of things,he could just tell by the way she avoided his eyes,and a soft pinkish tinge highlighted her soft cheeks.God!She had looked ethereal right then.He had so wanted to grab her and kiss her senseless right then and there,and had barely managed to hold himself back from doing so.And then luckily or unluckily they were joined by other people in the lift,and were separated by the crowd of people.

That night Arjun had the hardest time trying to sleep.His insides were raging a war if to follow his heart or his mind,and he was completely tied in knots,confused as to how to control his raging passion for her and also stay focused onto his revenge.He just had to find a way.And as for that the only plan he had was staying away from her.Though even that did not seem to be working much,as her thoughts were always there.And he could not stop himself from wondering what she was doing,or how she looked everyday,or was she thinking of him too..And fighting his inner thoughts and demon every single second in every single day had him tied in too many knots and completely strained out.

And it was in one of these typical strained days that he had ended up having that impossible headache that was doing all but splitting his head apart..Tired and restless all at the same time,Arjun finally decided to call it a night.

Almost the entire office people had left by that time he was sure.Since he had especially stayed back to ignore the crowd of onlookers,as even their stares made him feel they knew his inner turmoil,and was probably eyeing him for a reason.And that subsequently made him snap more at them.

Nevertheless a tired and strained Arjun managed to drag himself off his arm chair behind his desk,and soon he was on his way towards the exit,when a sound stopped him.

Someone was calling out from somewhere..He went completely still his ears now strained,to hear more,trying to ensure if he had really heard anything in the first place.

There!He heard it again!Someone was calling out for help!His eyes smaller as he tried to detect where the sound was coming from.Most of the rooms were now shrouded in darkness.Even the office floor itself had a few major lights on.He had to be fast before the guard locked the floor itself.

"HELP!!!!!"This time he clearly heard the sound,and his heart nearly jumped out of its ribcage as he heard the voice calling out again.

His face went pale,drained of all blood,as he ran towards the source of the voice.

All kinds of horrible thoughts raging in his mind..What was she doing alone in the now empty office?!!What must have happened to her?!!

Damn!!!He cursed himself in frustration!!!Why the hell was the damn girl too pretty for her own good?!!!!His heart thudding,and like a fan obsessed with terror,he banged open every room that he thought he heard the sound from.

Damn!Where was she?!!What kind of trouble was she in?!!Even the thought of it ran his blood cold!

"RADHIKA!!!WHERE ARE YOU?!!"He shouted as he banged shut the door to yet another empty room.His frustration,rage and terror escalating with every breath he took.

He heard a whimper from somewhere.And his breathing nearly stopped.WHERE WAS SHE?!!
"RADHIKA?!!!"He called out again,but silence greeted his voice.

Seconds ticked as he wiped off beads of sweat from his brows and tried to think in the right way.He had heard a sound.It was a call for help.It was coming from somewhere in the office.And..IT WAS HER VOICE!!!!!!!HIS RADHIKA!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Pure unadulterated fear choked his insides and made him breathless with fear and agony,as all sorts of terrifying images took hold of him!What if he was just too late?!!What if by the time he went there it would be just too late for-..

"Help!!!Someone please!!!!!!NO!!!!!!"She whimpered out in a terrifying pleading voice that screamed terror.And Arjun went cold all over,and this time ran like a maniac towards the dimly lit room at the farthest corner from where he was.He bumped into chairs and tables,and threw them out of the way,as he shoved open the door with a loud bang.

"RADHIKA!!!!!!!!!"He screamed out,his heart nearly in his throat,his face completely lost of colors,his dark eyes blood shot,his nostrils flared as he breathed hard and stared at the sight that greeted him..
