Khushi couldn't still believe what was happening. Her brother left this mortal world just because she asked him to go away from them forever?
She was the killer of her own brother?
Khushi collapsed on the ground, as the gravity of the situation was so high that self-control couldn't hold her up any more. Destiny couldn't be more harsher than it already was towards her.
On the other hand, Arnav was extremely elated by the fact that Anjali got a donor but he didn't know that it was his brother-in-law, whom he loathed for destroying his Di's life, was the one who was reviving her and bringing her back from the battle between life and death.
He wanted to inform Khushi that he found a donor for Di and he was sure that Khushi would feel as elated as he felt but didn't know that Khushi's mind had turned into a turbulent storm of raging emotions that made her go numb.
Arnav was more than shocked to see Khushi collapsed on the floor in the lobby, with a letter in her hand, while her PA was not even trying make her get up from her position.
"Khushi? What happened?" Arnav asked her while going towards her while his body language clarified how excited he was and how happy he was.
There was no movement from her side; not even to tell him to not come by her side as she always did. What had happened to her?
Arnav's excitement faded away to give way for deep concern, and it didn't take him long to realize the tears of pain in Anita's eyes and numbness in Khushi's stature. As Anita saw Arnav approaching them, she left them alone.
His eyes travelled to the piece of paper which was still in a tight grip of her slender fingers, which neither trembled nor gave away. Deep somewhere, he felt that the sole reason of this pregnant silence is that piece of paper.
He bent down to make Khushi get up from her place and made her sit on the bench which was located just behind her.He gently took away the paper from her grip and started reading the contents of the letter.
A storm of hundred emotions started raging in his mind. The situation which might have happened, started to form in his mind. Shyam loved Khushi and Anjali so much that he sacrificed his own life?
Just for one request of Khushi, Shyam went and gave away his life without even thinking for a moment?
Suddenly Arnav felt that his love for his Di or his wife, Khushi was nothing in front of the love which Shyam had in his heart for them, for he couldn't even visualize himself in Shyam's place.
Then it struck to him that Shyam had handed over his Di's and Khushi's responsibility to him. Does that mean he accepted that marriage which was an act of revenge?
Whatever it was, he had accepted his mistake and had deeply fallen for Khushi. He had promised himself that he will assure that Khushi would always remain happy, whether it was with him or without him, that was something which he left to their destiny and Khushi to decide.
" Bhaiyya left us all just because of me. I am a killer!" Khushi started muttering, which made Arnav break his trance of thoughts.
And then he realized that he was actually given a huge responsibility to control Khushi's turbulent mind and Anjali's soon-to-be raging emotions.
He pulled Khushi towards himself by her waist and soothed her back, while her head rested on his chest as she refused to give up on the position.
" No, Khushi. You are not a killer. You were right in your place and Jeejaji is right in his." said Arnav, while trying to comfort in the best way possible for him. Probably it was the first time he addressed Shyam as 'Jeejaji'.
How much ever we are in pain, love or hate always makes its own way and the hatred, Khushi had in her heart for Arnav was so much that it had overpowered the pain of the situation.
She wanted solace and someone to comfort her but that person could certainly not be Arnav Singh Raizada, the person who never thought about others.
" Leave me alone, Mr.Raizada. I can take care of myself. You have already bestowed us with enough help and now you may as well, depart from here." said Khushi, while her voice shook as her heart's beats sung a melancholy strain and standing up even after the constant threats from her feet to give away.
Arnav knew that it would be a waste of time and energy if he chose to argue with her and definitely she was not in a state to argue.
" Khushi, she is my sister. Please let me stay here." begged Arnav, whose only intention was to give moral support to Khushi, fulfilling their untaken vows.
Khushi knew about the love in a sibling's bond and she was now going through the pain of it. How can she force a brother to leave his sister when she was fighting in between life and death?
" You can stay back but Stay away from ME!" said Khushi, while leaving him alone there and making her way to the washroom to wash her face.
-------------------
Late Night,
" You may meet Ms.Raizada now. She has regained her consciousness and is completely out of danger." assured the doctor-in-charge of Anjali's case, while Khushi, Anita and Arnav moved in.
" How are you, Anjali?" asked Khushi, trying to sound cheerful though her eyes were betraying her.
" How will I not be fine if I have a friend like you, Khushi? I am feeling so better now and all thanks to you." said Anjali, with a weak smile on her face but she got only silences as the reply from everyone there.
" By the way, who was the donor and how did you manage it so fast?" asked Anjali while the curiosity took the better of her.
While Khushi and Arnav chose not to answer, Anita decided that it was better for Anjali to know the truth now rather than from someone else in a different situation.
" Shyam Sir." said Anita, in a voice which showed immense pain and sadness as Anita was got her life when Shyam gave the job to a poor orphan, who had no motive in her life. Anita's answer brought Khushi's tears back to her, and tears started rolling down her cheeks.
Anjali was plunged in the deep ocean of sorrow and redemption. The love which was well hidden under the deep layers of hatred, was finally coming into the light.
" Shyam killed himself for me?" asked Anjali, still unable to believe the sacrifice Shyam gave for the sake of their love.
Nobody dared to answer her, for everyone knew what her reaction would be. Khushi was sobbing hysterically with Anita consoling her. With Akash not around, there was no one who had maintained composure to calm Anjali down, which was a seemingly impossible task to even Arnav and Khushi.
Seeing people not even trying to say something, Anjali started pulling out the wires and needles injected into her.
" DI!"
" ANJALI!"
" MA'AM!"
" I don't want to live anymore. Let me die and go to Shyam." said Anjali, whose hands were firmly held by Khushi and Arnav.
" So you want to waste Bhai's sacrifice, Anjali? He gave away his life for you and you want his wishes, his hopes and his sacrifice to be wasted?" asked Khushi, controlling herself from crying.
" Yes, Di. Read this letter from Jeejaji and if you still want to leave all of us and go to him, I assure you, no one will stop you." said Arnav, while Khushi shot him dangerous looks and Arnav assured her everything will be alright through his eyes.
Will Anjali give up on her life?
